03-26-24 | Red Wings v. Capitals -105 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 5 m | Show
The Detroit Red Wings go on the road to face the Washington Capitals in a pivotal Eastern Conference matchup with huge playoff implications. Detroit is outside of the final playoff spot in the East, just one point back of Washington. The Red Wings are 3-9 in their last 12 games. The Red Wings are 15-18-1 on the road, and they are putting up 3.38 goals per game and giving up 3.32 goals per game. The Capitals are 19-11-5 at home. The Capitals are putting up just 2.71 goals per game while giving up 3.10 goals per game. There is just one point separating the two teams. Washington is playing better hockey as of late and I think their goaltending and defense should be able to limit Detroit's offense. I don’t like the way Detroit has been playing and like the Capitals to take this one at home. Play on Washington. This is a 3% play |

A few short weeks ago Detroit was a 68% lock to make the playoffs, A Dylan Lrkin injury and a seven game losing streak later and they are fighting even to make the playoffs. It's not that they have lost seven in a row, they have not been in any of those games. You could literally catch up on Netflix halfway through the second period if not sooner. Over the last four games, the Red Wings have put up 1.8 goals a game and have not been able to stop the puck on the defensive end. have been on two completely different levels throughout the last handful of games as The Sabres have averaged 4.7 goals in their last three games. It feels like there's more to this than just the loss of Larkin. Detroit has to show me something before I can think of backing them again. Play on Buffalo. This is a 4% play. |

The Bruins have two strong goalies but the Bruins will be on the second game of a back-to-back so fatigue could be a factor. Edmonton has won 14 of its last 20 games and the Oilers have won nine of the last 10 games against a team from the Eastern Conference. Boston has lost four of its last five games. Nashville is just 15-15 at home this season. The Predators are 6-4 in their past 10 head-to-head matchups. Both teams have been playing well but I like the hotter team playing at home in this one. New York has lost five of its last seven overall and seven of its last 10 played on the road. Detroit has won six straight and six of their last seven at home. Over the last four games, Detroit’s netminder Lyon has given up just eight goals. Islander’s goalie Ilya Sorokin has allowed 15 goals over the last four games. Detroit scored 8 in their last game and should be able to find the back of the net against Sorokin. Lyon has been playing well as of late and I don’t see a struggling Islanders offense being able to score more than a goal or two. Play on Detroit. This is a 3% play. |
|||||||
02-27-24 | Penguins v. Canucks -148 | 4-3 | Loss | -148 | 9 h 5 m | Show

Play on Vancouver. This is a 4% play. |

They have scored 10 goals in their last three home games. The Stars have given up 12 goals in their last four road games. Anaheim has beaten Nashville twice this season. The Ducks have not played well at home this season and in their last two home games, they have been outscored 12-7. Nashville has won the first four games of their five game road trip, outsourcing their opponents 18-8. This is the second game of a back-to-back for both team but both teams had to travel for this game. I am going with the hotter team right now. Play on Nashville. This is a 3% play. |

02-25-24 | Hurricanes -129 v. Sabres | 2-3 | Loss | -129 | 6 h 13 m | Show
The Carolina Hurricanes have won eight of the last ten matchups between the two. The Sabres are 2-2 in the last four matchups in Buffalo. They have faced each other twice this season with Carolina outscoring Buffalo 9-4. The Sabres have won two games but the Hurricanes hold a talent advantage at every position. The Hurricanes are putting up 3.34 goals per game and have had success finding the back of the net against the Sabers this season. The Hurricanes are giving up 2.77 goals a game and should find success against a Buffalo team that puts up just 2.91 goals per game. The Hurricanes have won four in a row and should be able to add another win to the streak. Play on Carolina. This is a 3% play. |

They have been pretty even over the last 10 meetings, splitting them evenly at 5-5. Calgary has not fared well at home lately, losing six of their past seven games played on home ice. Winnipeg is trying to make a move in the playoff standings and I like them to take it to the Flames. Take the Jets to get a home win. Play on Winnipeg. This is a 4% play. |

Minnesota is 25-23-5 and in 11th place in the West. The Wild are 13-11-3 at home. They are putting up 3.00 goals a game and allowing 3.23. Minnesota is riding a four game winning streak. The Sabres have struggled to score all season and Minnesota has been playing sound defensively. The Sabres have scored only nine goals in their last four games. I like the Wild at home to shut down the Buffalo offense and score enough at home to secure the win. Play on Minnesota. This is a 3% play |
|||||||
02-17-24 | Panthers -115 v. Lightning | 9-2 | Win | 100 | 4 h 1 m | Show
It is a battle for Florida when the Florida Panthers take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Florida Panthers are 35-15-4 and are number one in the Eastern Conference. Tampa Bay is fifth in the Eastern Conference at 30-20-5. Florida has won four in a row and took the meeting between the two earlier in the year. They have also won eight of their last ten games. Florida is giving up just 2.44 goals per game this season. On the offensive end, they are putting up 3.24 goals per game. The Tampa Bay Lightning have won three in a row. They are putting up 3.44 goals per game this season. On the defensive end, they are giving up 3.27 goals a game. Florida has won the last three games against the Lightning. The Lightning have averaged 5 goals a game at home over their last five but are facing one of the better penalty killing units and a defense that has allowed just 1.37 goals in their last five. I am riding with the Panthers in this one. Play on Florida. This is a 3% play. |
|||||||
02-15-24 | Oilers -190 v. Blues | 3-6 | Loss | -190 | 8 h 41 m | Show

They are 15-9-1 at home this season. St. Louis has a 6-4 record over the Oilers in the last 10 meetings, but the Oilers have the better of it as of late, winning 2 of 3 in St. Louis. St. Louis is just 2-3 in their last five at home. Edmonton has been on a nice run as their defense is starting to step up to the offense. When both are playing well the Oilers are scary. Play on Edmonton. This is a 3% play. |
|||||||
02-15-24 | Panthers -148 v. Sabres | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 7 h 42 m | Show
The Florida Panthers are on the road to take on the Buffalo Sabres. The Panthers have won seven of the last eight matchups with Buffalo going back to 2021. They have won in four of the last five in Buffalo. Florida has allowed just one goal in two of their last three meetings and I don’t see that changing as the Sabers rank in the bottom half of the league in average goals scored per game. Florida has won six of their last seven overall and eight straight on the road. The Sabres have lost three of their last four games at home. I like the Panthers' defense and goaltending to be able to shut down the Buffalo offense and the offense to come through with a couple of goals to secure the win. Doesn't matter who is in the net for Boston, as either goalie should be able to shut the Sabers down. Boston will do enough on the offensive end to come away with a road win. Play on Boston. This is a 4% play. |

Florida has struggled on the offensive end lately, scoring three or fewer goals in seven of the last eight games. They have played better on the defensive end, ranking 10th in goals against per game. The Capitals are not much better on the offensive end and they have scored three or fewer goals in nine of the last 10 games. The defense has been a little better ranking 14th in goals allowed. 11-07-23 | Wild +100 v. Islanders | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 46 m | Show
The New York Islanders take on the Minnesota Wild in NHL action. The Islanders come in with a 5-2-3 record while the islanders are 4-5-2. The Wild won both of the games between the two teams last season. The Wild have not gotten off to a good start to the season and are just 1-3-1 on the road. Minnesota was able to snap a four-game losing streak with a win over the Rangers. Offense has not been the problem for the Wild. They rank ninth in both goals with 3.55 goals a game, and shots at 31.6. The defense has let them down as they allow the second-most goals at 4.18 on 33.2 shots. The New York Islanders have played well at home, posting a 3-1-3 record. The Islanders have struggled on the offensive end, as they are putting up just 2.7 goals per game, on 31 shots. As bad as their offense is, their defense is that good. They are giving up just 2.7 goals on 35.7 shots. The Minnesota Wild have an advantage on the offensive end. Even though the Wild have struggled on the defensive end, the Islanders struggle to put the puck in the net. I will take the better offense at + money in this one. Play on Minnesota. The Devils have gone 3-0 on the road this season and have won five of their last six. The Devils are the second-highest-scoring team with 4.13 goals per game. They need to score that much because, on the defensive end, they have allowed the sixth-most goals at 3.63 goals per game. The Blues have struggled this season and are just 2-1 at home and have lost two in a row and three out of four. They’re the second-worst offense in the league, putting up 1.75 goals a game. They have played well on the defensive end, allowing 2.88 goals a game, which is the eighth-fewest. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Devils. Even so, the Devils have a huge edge on the offensive end of the ice. The Devils are scoring 4.13 goals compared to the Blues 1.75. The Blues have only scored once in the past two games. I am going to ride the Devils in this one. Play on the New Jersey Devils. This is a 3% play. |

11-02-23 | Jets v. Golden Knights -138 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 49 m | Show

11-02-23 | Stars +124 v. Oilers | 4-3 | Win | 124 | 9 h 3 m | Show
The Dallas Stars come into this game with a 5-1-1 record and are in second place in the Central Division. The Edmonton Oilers have struggled to start the season at 2-5-1, and are sixth in Pacific Division. Dallas is getting it done once again with their defense. They are killing off 95% of their penalties and have a goalie in Jake Oettinger, that is giving up 1.74 goals a game. The Dallas offense has not been great but when you have given up just 17 goals this season, you can still win games with limited scoring. The same can't be said for the Oilers on the defensive end of the ice. They rank 26th in the league with 26 goals allowed. The Oilers offense had not been as explosive without Connor McDavid in the lineup, but that should pick up with his return. It doesn’t matter how many goals they score if their goalies can’t stop the puck. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Stars. Dallas has been consistent on both ends of the ice which should give them an advantage in this one. Even if Oettinger doesn’t go tonight, their backup has played well and I have no faith in the Oilers netminders. Play on Dallas. This is a 3% play. |

11-02-23 | Maple Leafs v. Bruins -102 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 51 m | Show
The Toronto Maple Leafs are 5-3-1 overall this season and will take on the 8-0-1 Boston Bruins. It is hard to believe that this year's Boston team is better than last season's record-breaking team. Toronto has lost two in a row. They don’t play many close games as five of their eight games on the year have been decided by three or more goals. Despite being 8-0-1 and 4-0-1 record at home, they have scored just 29 goals in those nine games, and have allowed just 14. The home team is 4-1 in their past five head-to-head meetings as well as the favorite winning the last five. The Bruins are allowing an NHL-low 1.56 goals per game. Netminders Linus Ullmark has a 1.77 goals against average and Jeremy Swayman has a 1.26 goals against average. Toronto is giving up 3.11 goals per game and scoring just 3.22. Play on Boston. Play on the NY Rangers. This is a 4% play. |

The Kings have won both of their road games this season by a combined 12-4 margin. They have also two of their last three games overall, with one of those wins coming over Arizona by a 6-3 score. The Coyotes struggle on the offensive end, scoring two or fewer goals in three of their first six games. The Kings have scored five goals or more in their first two road games and rank in the top three in average goals scored per game overall. Los Angeles has a huge advantage on the offensive end and even though Arizona has a 2.50 GAA, the Kings lit the light six times against them on Tuesday. Los Angeles has won eight of its last 11 against a team from the Central Division. Arizona has lost 14 of its last 18 overall and the Coyotes have dropped five of the last six head-to-head versus Los Angeles. The Kings' offense will carry them in this one. Play on the LA Kings. 10-26-23 | Rangers -130 v. Oilers | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 6 m | Show
The New York Rangers are first in the metro and will look to add to their 4-2-0 record when they take on the struggling Edmonton Oilers. Edmonton is just 1-4-1 to start the season and is 7th in the Pacific. The New York Rangers are 17th with three goals per game. They are allowing just 2.17 goals per game, which is fifth in the league. The Oilers' high-powered offense has been grounded to start the season. They are putting up just 2.83 goals per game and will be without Connor McDavid for a while. Their bigger problem is on the defensive end, where they have allowed 4.50 goals a game. The New York Rangers are the better team on both ends of the ice. The Oilers are struggling on the defensive end and between the pipes. Without McDavid, they don't have the firepower to outscore their opponent.  Play on the New York Rangers. This is a 4% play. |

On the defensive end, they rank third in goals against and 11th in shots against per game. Alexandar Georgiev has a 5-0-0 record with a 1.98 GAA. The Penguins come in riding a three-game losing streak. The Penguins offense needs a jump start. They have scored three or fewer goals in four of their first six games. They rank 22nd in goals but third in shots per game. On the defensive end, they rank 18th in goals against and 12th in shots against per game. Colorado has won each of the last five played on the road. Pittsburgh has lost six of its last eight overall and the Penguins have dropped four of the last five against a team from the Western Conference. Colorado is playing well on both ends of the ice to begin the season. The Penguins are struggling on the offensive end and I look for those struggles to continue tonight. Play on Colorado. Detroit is giving up 2.86 goals on 30.6 shots, which ranks 12th and 19th respectively. The Red Wings are playing well on both ends of the ice. Winnipeg has lost seven of its last 10, while Detroit has opened the season with five victories in its first seven. Play on Detroit. This is a 4% play. |

10-24-23 | Avalanche -131 v. Islanders | 7-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 5 m | Show
The New York Islanders are 2-1-1 this season and will take on the unbeaten Colorado Avalanche, who are 5-0. The Islanders are putting up just 2.25 goals a game. They always get it done on the defensive end and this year is no different as they have the 7th best Goals Against Average at 2.50. Colorado is known for thier high output offense, but it is their defense and goaltending that has the people talking to begin the season. Over the first five games of the season, they are giving up just 1.6 goals a game. The offense hasn't been too shabby either, as they are second in shots per game and they are putting up four goals per game. Colorado has an advantage on both ends of the ice and on special teams. Coalie Alexandar Georgiev has a strong record of 9-4-0 against the Islanders. Sorokin is 0-1-1 against the Avalanche in his career and the Islanders have lost four of their last five games. This could be a close game but the Avalanche offense will carry them to the win. Play on Colorado. This is a 4% play. |

The Hurricanes have won three of their last five games and offensively they have scored more than four goals per game. 10-19-23 | Hurricanes -133 v. Seattle Kraken | 4-7 | Loss | -133 | 11 h 6 m | Show
The Carolina Hurricanes are off to a great start to the season, posting a 3-1-0 record. Seattle has struggled to start the season and is 0-3-1. They need to turn it around after making the playoffs last season. The Hurricanes are putting up five goals a game so far this season. They thrive on losing teams, in their last 76 games against a team with a losing record, they are 52-24. They have scored just 3 goals in four games this season and have not had a multiple-goal game. The Hurricanes have a 3-1 record all-time against Seattle, with all three wins coming in 2022, by a combined score of 11-5. Carolina has been dominant this season and should overwhelm a struggling Seattle team. Play on Carolina. This is a 4% play. |

10-17-23 | Stars v. Golden Knights -102 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 14 h 24 m | Show
The Vegas Golden Knights will host Western Conference rival Dallas Stars in NHL action. The Stars come into this game at 1-0-0 while the Knights are 3-0-0. Dallas won all four games during the season last year but the Knights took the West finals series and eventually the Cup. The Stars have played just one game this season and have had almost a week off coming into this game. Six of the ten meetings between these two last season were by just one goal, all overtime games, with three shootouts amongst them. Dallas has had plenty of rest and should have a jump in their step but with only one game under their belt, they may not have the chemistry right now to face the defending champs. Play on Vegas. This is a 3% play. |

10-17-23 | Avalanche -147 v. Seattle Kraken | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 14 h 3 m | Show
The Colorado Avalanche (have started the season winning their first two games. They go on the road to face a Seattle team that has not won a game this season, 0--2-1. Last season these two games went 1-1-1but Seattle won their playoff series 4-3. The Avalanche won two of three in Seattle with the loss coming in overtime. The Avs outscored the Krakein 12-7 in the three games played in Seattle. Last season, Colorado won 70% of their games away from their home stadium. The Kraken have scored just two goals over their first three games of 2023. The Avalanche ranked 11th in average goals a game and picked up where they left off, scoring seven goals in their first two games this season. Seattle has allowed three or more goals in two of their first three games this season. Colorado plays well on the road and in Seattle. The Colorado offense should be able to score against a Seattle team that has been allowing goals. Play on Colorado. This is a 3% play.  |

10-17-23 | Oilers -140 v. Predators | 6-1 | Win | 100 | 12 h 55 m | Show
The Edmonton Oilers surprisingly have not won a game this season and are 0-2-0 to start the 2023-24 season. They go on the road to take on the Nashville Predators, who come into this game at 1-2-0. In the past nine head-to-head meetings, the Oilers are 8-1 and the favorite is a whopping 17-7 in their past 24. Last season, the Oilers went 2-0-1 against the Predators including 13 goals total in the two victories. Saros has been in the net for three straight games for Nashville so it will be interesting if they stick with him again or go with Kevin Lankinen between the pipes. The Oilers have scored just five goals in the first two games of the season. The Oilers were the best-scoring team last season and I expect them to show that form against either goalie the Predators start. Play on Edmonton. This is a 3% play |

10-16-23 | Red Wings -130 v. Blue Jackets | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 6 h 1 m | Show
The Detroit Red Wings are coming off a 6-4 win over Tampa Bay. Detroit has shown the ability to score on good defenses and will be facing a Columbus defense that allowed three goals last time out. Columbus could be without goalie Elvis Merzlikins, as he is listed as day-to-day.  Columbus has played their first two games at home. They won against the Rangers despite being outshot by a 2-1 margin. They can't let that happen against a Detroit team that is finding the back of the net. Without their No.1 netminder or with him less than 100%, I see a tough night for Columbus. Play on Detroit. This is a 3% play |

10-13-23 | Penguins -118 v. Capitals | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 7 h 13 m | Show
The Pittsburgh Penguins look to even their record this season after dropping their first game to the Chicago Blackhawks. be the Washington Capitals season opener. The Washington Capitals didn't make many moves in the offseason but are counting on a healthy Nicklas Backstrom and T.J. Oshie to make a difference. Last season the Capitals lost six of seven to the Pittsburgh and 21 of the last 28. The Penguins have more depth and an advantage between the pipes. Throw in the fact that they already have a game under their belt I like the Penguins to continue their mastery over the Capitals. Play on Pittsburgh. This is a 3% play. |

10-11-23 | Avalanche -115 v. Kings | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 51 m | Show
The Colorado Avalanche and the Los Angeles Kings open the season in a huge Western Conference matchup. Both teams have high expectations for a long playoff run this season. The Avs went 51-24-7 last year, finishing first in the Central but were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs in seven games to the Kraken. The Kings were eliminated in the first round as well, losing in six games to the Oilers. They finished third in the Pacific with a 47-25-10 record. The Avs averaged 3.29 goals per game last season. On the defensive side, they allowed 2.68 goals per game, which was the ninth fewest. The Kings ranked tenth in scoring at 3.3 goals per game. On the defensive end, they allowed 3.05 goals per game, ranking 16th. The Kings will have a new goaltender for the first time since 2008 without Jonathon Quick between the pipes. Gabriel Landeskog will probably miss the season for the Avs but they still have an explosive offense with MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen on the ice. The Avs have the edge in the net as Georgiev is better than Talbot. Play on Colorado. This is a 2% play |

10-11-23 | Oilers -160 v. Canucks | 1-8 | Loss | -160 | 10 h 45 m | Show
The Edmonton Oilers and the Vancouver Canucks finish off tonight's slate in the NHL. The Oilers were bounced by the eventual champs, the Golden Knights in the second round. Connor McDavid will be leading the offense once again. He had 153 points last season but out was done by Leon Draisaitl who tallied 158 points. The Canucks went 20-12-4 over 36 games but missed the playoffs after a terrible start. Elias Pettersson had 102 points last season. The Canucks just dont have the talent up and down their roster to compete with the Oilers. The Oilers top two lines are loaded with offensive weapons and the Canucks will not be able to match the Oilers in scoring. Play on Edmonton. This is a 3% play |

10-10-23 | Predators +140 v. Lightning | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 57 m | Show
The Nashville Predators open the season on the road against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Tampa Bay won both games between the two last season. Nashville will look to get back into the postseason and they failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2013-14. There have been a lot of changes, with a new coach and players coming and going over the off-season. The Predators ranked 28th in goals per game and 23rd in shots per game. On the defensive end, they ranked 12th in goals against per game and 27th in shots against per game. Tampa Bay had made three straight Cup finals but that caught up with them last year as they were bounced in the first round. They may struggle early in the season, as goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy will miss about the first eight weeks of the season. Last season. They were ranked eighth in goals and 13th in shots per game. On the defensive end, they were 14th in goals against per game and 20th in shots against per game. Vasilevskiy is a big loss, and I think that gives Nashville an advantage. Juuse Saros was good last year in net for Nashville and he will outplay Johansson in this contest. Play on Nashville. This is a 2% play. |

06-05-23 | Panthers +125 v. Golden Knights | 2-7 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 24 m | Show
The Florida Panthers did not play well in Game 1 and will look to turn it around tonight against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Florida Panthers lost game one and had their five-game winning streak in the playoffs snapped. Sergei Bobrovsky did not play well in Game 1 and that might have been due to the long layoff between series. Before that, however, he has allowed two goals or less in eight of the last 10 playoff games. The Panthers should play much better in Game 2 and even though I like the Knights when playing at home it is hard to go against what the Panthers have done in the Playoffs, I will take the + money on the Panthers and bet that Bobrovsky will bounce back in this one. f he doesn't it could be a short series for the Panthers. Play on Florida |

06-03-23 | Panthers v. Golden Knights -123 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 9 h 19 m | Show
The Stanley Cup Finals get underway with the surprising Florida Panthers taking on the Vegas Golden Knights. After going down three games to one to the #1 seed Boston Bruins, the Panthers have been almost unbeatable. They have gone 11-1 since then. They have been getting it done with some key goals but more importantly on the goaltending of Sergei Bobrovsky. The Golden Knights are the better team in this series and have played better on both ends of the ice. Vegas is the better and deeper team and it will take a Herculean effort by Bobrovsky for the Panthers to have a chance. I like the Knights in Game one on home ice and to take the auro of the Panthers goaltender away early. Play on Vegas |
|||||||
05-29-23 | Golden Knights +120 v. Stars | 6-0 | Win | 120 | 8 h 10 m | Show
Vegas went up 3-0 in the series, but the Stars have won the last two games. Vegas looks to avoid a Game 7 and a win tonight will put them in the Finals against Florida. The Stars swept the regular season series between these teams with Vegas going 0-1-2. The Knights had two chances to put Dallas away and I like their chances to get it done in this one. Before Game 5, they hadn’t lost two games in a row since March, and they haven’t lost three games since January. Vegas has been the better team and will take plus money in this one. Play on Vegas |
|||||||
05-27-23 | Stars v. Golden Knights -137 | 4-2 | Loss | -137 | 8 h 31 m | Show
Dallas avoided the sweep with a win in Game 4 but it doesn't get any easier tonight. The Stars are still without their captain Jamie Benn, for this game as he is finishing up his two-game suspension. The Stars swept the regular season series between these teams with Vegas going 0-1-2 in those games. Vegas let one get away, blowing two leads and losing in overtime. Vegas has not lost back-to-back games in the playoffs and haven’t since March. Vegas has a huge home-ice advantage and in reality, has been the better team all series. I like Vegas to bounce back and win this one at home. Play on Vegas |
|||||||
05-23-23 | Golden Knights v. Stars -137 | 4-0 | Loss | -137 | 13 h 12 m | Show
The Vegas Golden Knights took care of business at home winning the first two games of the Western Conference finals. Dallas won all three regular-season games but the Knights have turned things around in the playoffs. During the regular season, Vegas scored a total of three goals against the Stars but has done better in the first two games of this best-of-seven series. Both games of this series have been tight with both going into overtime. This is a must-win game for the Stars and unlike Carolina, who were in the same situation, Dallas has this game on their home ice. Take the Stars at home to get their first win of the series. Play on Dallas |
|||||||
05-22-23 | Hurricanes -101 v. Panthers | 0-1 | Loss | -101 | 9 h 4 m | Show
The Florida Panthers went into Carolina and took the first two games of the Eastern Conference finals with both games going into overtime. Florida's goalie Sergei Bobrovsky has been a brick wall, not only in this series but the playoffs. He has allowed two goals or less in seven straight playoff games. The Panthers have won three straight games and nine of their last 10 playoff games. If the Hurricanes have any chance in this series they need to win this game. It won't be easy as they have had a difficult time beating Bobrovsky but it is now or never and i will be backing the desperate team. Play on Carolina |
|||||||
05-21-23 | Stars +107 v. Golden Knights | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 10 m | Show
The Dallas Stars will look to take home ice advantage as they battle the Vegas Golden Knights in Cin City. Vegas took game one and will look to carry the momentum over to this game. Dallas and Vegas met three times during the regular season with Dallas taking all three games. Things changed in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals with Vegas coming out on top. Vegas scored just three goals in the three regular season games. I look for Dallas to tighten things up on the defensive end and to steal a game on the road. Play on Dallas |
|||||||
05-20-23 | Panthers v. Hurricanes -150 | 2-1 | Loss | -150 | 10 h 40 m | Show
The Carolina Hurricanes were 14 seconds away from getting to the fifth overtime before a bad pass out of their zone led to the winning goal for Florida. With the 3-2 Panthers win they were able to wrestle away home-ice advantage. In the regular season series between these teams, the Hurricanes won two of the three. This is a must-win game for the Hurricanes and I expect them to do just that on their home ice. The Hurricanes have scored the fourth-most goals in the playoffs while Florida has scored the eighth-most. Carolina is allowing goals per game in the playoffs compared to the Panthers' 3.08 goals. I like the Hurricanes to even the series on home ice and take game two. Play on Carolina |
|||||||
05-19-23 | Stars v. Golden Knights -116 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 11 h 50 m | Show
The Dallas Stars will go on the road and take on the Vegas Golden to start the Western Conference Finals. The Dallas Stars eliminated the Seattle Kraken in seven games while the Vegas Golden Knights took out the Edmonton Oilers in six games. Dallas won all three regular season games. The Vegas’ offense struggled against the Stars during the regular season scoring just three total goals in three games. The Golden Knights have scored 47 goals in the playoffs. and allowed 33 goals in the playoffs. I like Vegas at home to draw first blood. Play on Las Vegas |
|||||||
05-18-23 | Panthers v. Hurricanes -139 | 3-2 | Loss | -139 | 7 h 20 m | Show
The Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers have had a week of rest and are now ready to get the Eastern Conference Finals underway. During the regular season, the Hurricanes went 2-1 over the Panthers. The Hurricanes have the edge on both ends of the ice. In the playoffs, they have scored the fourth-most goals with 3.64 goals a game. Florida has put up 3.33 goals per game, the eighth-most. On the defensive end, the Canes are the best defensive remaining team in the playoffs. They give up just 2.55 goals a game. Defensively the Panthers have allowed an average of 3.08 goals per game. The Hurricanes have been dominant in the playoffs, and going 5-1 at home Take the better team at home. Play on Carolina |
|||||||
05-06-23 | Oilers -119 v. Golden Knights | 5-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 41 m | Show
The Edmonton Oilers look to bounce back after losing game one to the Vegas Golden Knights. The Oilers' offense wasn't a problem as they netted four goals but their defense and goaltending let them down giving up 6 goals. The Golden Knights scored 19 goals in the First Round and they put up 6 in Game One. These teams faced each other four times in the regular season with Edmonton winning three out of the four meetings. The Oilers scored four or more goals in the three wins against the Golden Knights and Edmonton did not score less than three goals in any game against Vegas during the regular season. I can't see Edmonton playing as badly in the defensive zone as in Game One. Play on Edmonton |
|||||||
05-03-23 | Oilers -110 v. Golden Knights | 4-6 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 34 m | Show
The Edmonton Oilers will start round two on the road in Sin City as they take on the Vegas Golden Knights. The Vegas Golden Knights took care of the Winnipeg Jets in five games, while the Edmonton Oilers eliminated the Los Angeles Kings in six games. Edmonton has the best two players in this series and in the first-round Connor McDavid had 10 points and Leon Draisaitl led the team with 11. Edmonton won three out of the four meetings this season. The Oilers scored four or more goals in the three wins against the Golden Knights and Edmonton and scored three in the other. Edmonton has too many weapons and Vegas will need to stay out of the penalty box as Edmonton scored on almost 6-% of their power plays in round one. The Oilers take the first game on the road. Play on Edmonton |
|||||||
05-03-23 | Devils +107 v. Hurricanes | 1-5 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 53 m | Show
The Carolina Hurricanes and the New Jersey Devils will meet in this second-round series between two Metro Division rivals. During the regular season, they were separated by a single point. The Hurricanes beat the New York Islanders in six games in the first round while the Devils needed seven to dispatch the New York Rangers. These teams split their four games during the regular season. The Devils are a more well-rounded team and have an edge in the offensive zone. This should be a close series and game but the Devils beat the better team in round one and are the better team here. Play on New Jersey. |
|||||||
05-01-23 | Rangers v. Devils -110 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 51 m | Show
The Rangers have the playoff experience from last year but the Devils, have won three of the last four games. The Devils, who have only allowed 17 goals in the series. The Rangers, who have only allowed 13 goals in the series. The Devils won three of the four games during the regular season. New Jersey scored the fourth-most goals in the NHL. The Rangers have scored the twelfth-most goals in the NHL. I am riding with the home team in this one. Play on New Jersey |
