Cappers Sports Picks - The Experts

No. 14 Arizona has been all fun and flash while steamrolling three overmatched opponents, but the competition is about to get stiffer at the Maui Invitational starting Monday against Cincinnati in Lahaina, Hawaii.

The Wildcats (3-0) set a school record for shooting percentage (71.7) in their opener against Nicholls, got a triple-double from point guard Kerr Kriisa against Southern, and established another school record Thursday against Utah Tech by making 22 of 22 free throw attempts.

"I think we're good," said coach Tommy Lloyd. "We got through these first three games, and our guys are getting a feeling for how hard you need to play. The new guys are understanding that there's a level of effort and a standard that you have to meet to be an Arizona basketball player. They're starting to hit that."

Cincinnati (3-1) hasn't shown the same kind of offensive prowess as Arizona and is coming off a 64-51 loss Wednesday at Northern Kentucky in which it managed only 11 points in the second half. The Bearcats shot 33.9 percent from the field.

The Terrapins are looking to extend their three-game winning streak to four games when they host the Billikens. In their last outing, Maryland earned a 76-52 win over the Binghamton Bearcats. As a team, they shot 48.4% from the field and earned 42 rebounds, 14 assists, eight steals, and four blocks. Julian Reese (19 PTS, 7 REB, 2, BLK, 88.8% FG) and Hakim Hart (13 PTS, 8 REB, 2 STL, 50% FG) led the Terrapins. Maryland has a 211th-ranked scoring offense this season, averaging 72.7 points per game. Their scoring defense is ranked 10th, surrendering just 50.7 points per game. The Terrapins currently have a scoring margin of 22 which puts them at 51st.

Minnesota has won all four games all-time in the series and has won by an average score of 78 to 58.75 while going 3-0-1 ATS in those matchups. The Golden Gophers have won the last three games by an average score of 78.33 to 57.33 while going 3-0 ATS in those contests.

The Salukis were one of the slowest teams in the country last year at about 66 offensive possessions per game. This slow pace contributed to the great scoring defense the Salukis have had with Mullins at the helm. They were first in the MVC and 15th in America in scoring defense. Last season the Salukis held opponents under 70 for 19 straight games. Despite their solid defense, this is an undersized squad that doesn't have anyone taller than 6'8 on the roster. Oklahoma State big man Kalib Boone could really disrupt the Salukis game plan if they can't limit his impact on the boards and the low block.

Last season, the Boise State Broncos were mediocre at best offense while one of the best defenses in the sport. They lost three starters from last season and need to be able to swallow the losses here. They are going to need sophomore forward Tyson Degenhart to step up from his freshman season where he averaged 9.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.6 blocks, and 0.8 steals.

With a victory over the Quakers in their previous game, the Wildcats got off to a strong start. They will be looking for similar outcomes on Wednesday when they embark on their first road trip, which could give them their second straight victory. In their 87-point victory over the Quakers, Davidson scored 45.1 percent of their field goals and 44.1 percent of three-point attempts.

With 64 points allowed in the victory over the Quakers, Davidson played strong defense. They will need to put out another strong defensive performance if they want to win because they are playing a better offensive team.

I'm not getting in the way of the Terrier over train that has now cashed 13 of their last 16 games and 12 of 14 following a SU win.

The Trojans have been a terrific team under team when playing on neutral courts with 12 of their last 17 cashing under tickets. The under is also 8-2 when the Trojans are the underdog. 5 of the last 7 Wildcats games have come under on neutral courts.

This is one of my favorite plays on today's card.  There aren't many trends to suggest that this is going over but The Friars have had a tendency to play higher scoring games after a SU win.

The under is an insane 22-10-2 in their last 34 game as an underdog and 31-15-2 vs. teams with a winning percentage over .600. The under is 9-3 in the Gaels last 12 neutral site games.

There are a lot of reasons to like the under in this one but Florida has been on a small over trend and I think this number has come in lower than I thought it would. The number seems to be begging the public to bet the under but we're not falling for it and it doesn't look like they are either.

The Wyoming Cowboys can feel very fortunate that they are in the NCAA Tournament but the win over UNLV seemed to push them in.  5 of their last 7 games have gone under the total and 3 of 5 for the Hoosiers. The Hoosiers will suffocate the Cowboys while Ike's troubles down low continue.

Both teams come into this one with solid over trends on neutral floors, while the over is 5-2-1 in the Rams last 8 games as  favorite. This number is an obvious oversight as both teams with play a quick pace.

Both teams come into this one having played in three straight over's, but this number is too good to pass up.  With both teams totals consistently in the 140's, I think we're getting a steal with this number. The OVER is 22-10-1 when the Horned Frogs re coming off a STS win while the Jayhawks seem to always play high scoring games when the spotlight is the brightest.

I would go get this now because the public has already pushed this up some from it's opening number.  The books clearly have an opinion on this game which is why the total is so high.  Iowa has cashed three straight unders and 5 of 6 with each total coming in at the mid 150's. The Knights have also cashed 4 straight unders which is what is pulling this number down into the 140's. This game will be played at Iowa's pace.

Believe me when I tell you, this is going to be ugly.  A week ago, these two teams met with the game looking like it was going to cash an under ticket when with the total at 116.  The game went into OT allowing the Over to cash but tonight will be different. Both of these teams are under teams and that's what's going to happen tonight despite the bookmakers begging the public to take the over.

This is one of the most attractive options on the board because the bookmakers are setting a trap, and we're going to run the other way.  The Hawks have played in 7 overs in their last 10 games and the Eagles in three straight, but my numbers indicate that this line is baiting you into taking the under. The over is 18-6 when the Eagles are coming off a SU win, make that 19-6 after tonight.

The public will be all over the under in this game and I suspect the books will be begging you to take the over but I think being in a tournament atmosphere sometimes oushes teams to do things out of character and that's why what you've seen all season long is not always what you'll see in this match-up.

The Falcons have been an under team for a long time while the Aggies are on a run of 4 straight unders. The public has pounded the under but neutral site games have a tendency to move teams out of what they're used to doing, especially In a tournament setting.

Two teams going in the same direction when it comes to the total. Both teams have played in three straight unders with the Wolverines playing on 5 of 6. However, this numbers is begging you to play the under but we know that when the Cougars play a higher quality of team the over is 14-3 in their last 17. We're not getting sucked into what the bookmakers want tonight.

I thought the public would be all over the over in this one but the books have priced this game too high for their taste and I agree. The Under is 27-13-3 in the Orange last 43 home games vs teams with a road winning percentage of .600 or more.

Both teams come into this one with over-streaks but this number is a little too rich for me considering I've seen a trend where the Panthers are more of an under team when they go up against the better competition. This is a conference tournament game and the time of year when the Eagles start to focus more on the defensive end of the court.  i suspect both over streaks ending tonight.

The Seminoles will win this game only if they protect the perimeter, this is where the Irish has lived and died for years under Mike Brey. This is a spot where I like to play the under because you have the Irish coming in off of 5 straight overs while the Seminoles have been involved in 4 of 5.  This number is begging you to take the over, we're not going to fall for this.

This is another spot where the number is too high to bait you into taking an over. Northridge has played 7 overs in their last 9 games while the Gauchos have played in 5 of 6.  Don't fall for the trap, this game is going under.

Another situation where the oddsmakers set the number too high, hoping to catch the public riding the current overs streaks. The Thunderbirds have cashed 5 overs in their last 7 games with a push, while the Bobcats have played in 4 straight overs.  We're not getting sucked into this bad number.

This is a game that screams over but you have to know when trends will stop, and another will begin.  This number is too rich for me even though the RedHawks are coming off six straight overs, while the Chippewas have played in back-to-back overs.  This number is begging you to take the bait but we're going to be smarter than that tonight.

Both of these teams are coming is as clear over selections, Texas has played in 9 over's in their last 13 games while the Bears have cashed 3 of 5 overs. Expect the public to be all over this trend but we're going under back by another trend that has cashed 76%.

Tulane have played six straight overs while the Owls have two straight under their belt.  This number seems to be begging you to take the over but we're not going to be on that side. The under is 24-9-1 in the Owls last 34 games as a favorite.

The Gaels come in playing 5 straight unders while the Broncs come in with a couple unders behind them.  This is usually when i go over the total but Rider isn't reliable enough from an offensive standpoint to think they'll do their part in pushing this over.

Canisius is one of the worst offensive teams on College Basketball, which would make sense when you have an 8-20 record. Iona have played 5 straight unders which makes this an easy selection, right? We're going to go against what many think will be an easy over.

After two straight rad overs, I suspect that this number is a little higher than I expected in this one. We've seen quality teams come into Houston and get suffocated, in fact, the under is 42-19-1 when Houston faces team with a winning road record.

There's no other way to bet games involving the Huskies than to play the over. The over is 20-7 in the Huskies last 27 road games and 6 of 7 overall. Neither team are terrific offensive teams but this number would indicate that the pace will be fast.

The over is 7-1 in the Tigers last 8 games and 41-19 in their last 60 road games. The over is 6-1 in the Wildcats last 7 road games. The Wildcats are one of the top offensive teams in College Basketball.

This is a classic match-up between the Tommies who are certainly an under bet, against North Dakota who has been a decent over wager.  This number indicates that pace of play will be fast, and I agree with that.  This game goes over easy.

The over is 6-1 in the Tar Heels last 7 games including 5 straight as a favorite. The over is also 8-2 in their last 10 overall.

The over is 14-6 in the Minutemen top 20 games overall while the Bonnies are on a small 4-1 over run in their last 5 games as a favorite.

Over is 17-8 in Fighting Illini's last 25 games following an ATS loss while the Over is 9-4 in Scarlet Knight's last 13 games following a straight-up win.

The under has cashed five straight games when the 49ers play a team with a winning record, indicating that they play much tighter and slower-paced games against the better teams even against the Panthers who will try to push the tempo.

The under is 11-3 in the Friars last 14 games after an ATS win while the under is 7-3 at home against teams with a winning road record.

The game features two teams that are usually over teams but we've seen this a million times where it looks easy but it ends up the other way.  This number is too high so we'll take advantage of the public mistake.

The Over is 8-3 in the Dukes last 11 road games and 10-4 on the road as a dog.  This seems like an easy under but this number is way off my power rankings.

Both of these teams are under plays on most nights. but the Vikings seem to play higher scoring games against teams who are in the third half of College Basketball so I'm going to ride with that trend.

The Bobcats are known for putting up under after a SU loss, mostly they get refocused on playing defense, while the under is 24-9 in the Hawks last 33 games overall.

The Arizona men's basketball team lost their first matchup against UCLA at Pauley Pavilion in L.A. on Jan. 25, and will look to get revenge on Thursday, Feb. 4.

The Wildcats had one of their worst shooting performances of the season when they faced off against the Bruins. Having Kerr Kriisa finish 0-9 didn't help. As a team, Arizona ended the game shooting 31% from the field and 25% on the 3-point line.

Kriisa had his worst game as a Wildcat. Adding four turnovers to the game made it hard for them to come back in the first half.

The Wildcats will be much better this time out.

I'm going to continue to ride the Red Flash and under, where we've cashed out in 10 of their last 11 games. The under is also 8-0-1 after SU loss by St. Francis because after a loss they get back to playing a better defensive game.

This total game is out a little higher than I thought it would but that doesn't care me off this winner.  I expect both teams to be in the '70's

This is a number that was head-scratching but I'm not going to get scared off the game because I think it flies way over. The Cougars average almost 76 points a game on just 43% shooting.  This is going to be a high-tempo game which should give us a chance.

UMBC is ranked 232nd in the country with a FG % allowed is 44%. I was a little surprised to see the number this high but it doesn't scare me off.

This is one of those totals that don't add up.  Neither team gives up enough to numerically show why the number is 140.  Neither team turns the ball over enough to create transition basketball so expect quality possessions from both teams.  When it looks to be true that's when we make the books pay for their oversite.

These are two of the worst offensive teams in College Basketball. Blue Jays are ranked 276th in PPG with just 67 points a game. Greg McDermott will not coach this game so there may be some cohesion issues on the bench. I think this number is too high for two teams with that are unreliable.

This is a match-up features the Albany Great Danes which allows Dana to use information from the College that he grew up around. The Great Danes are one of the worst offensive teams in basketball, shooting under 40% on the season.  I think this number is way too high for the Albany to do their part enough to push this over.

With Fresno State being one of the worst offensive teams in College Basketball, I don't think they're going to do their part in this one. Although the Aggies are going to give us 70-75 points, I think the Bulldogs defense will douse that offensive flame some.

When you handicap both of these teams it's difficult to find the area that's going to hurt us by betting the under. Missouri is hitting 25% from beyond the arc and neither team is consistent at the free throw line. Both teams are decent rebounding teams so the second chance points will at a minimum. The under is the play here.

Mercer is coached well and moves the ball well on the offensive end.  They should be able to get within the 75-80 mark to push this game over. Against the Bulldogs, who we know will do their part to push this over will dictate the pace enough to carry Mercer.  I mistakenly pushed the under button but this is an over play.

The Red Birds are one of the worst defensive teams in College Basketball, allowing almost 80 points per game while averaging exactly 80 on the offensive side.  This number is at least 5 points off my numbers.

Two of the worst offensive in College Basketball get together with a number that's pretty close to what I expected it to be, but I just can't imagine either stringing enough positive possessions together to push this game under.

The Delta Devils quite possibly have the worst defensive team in the country, too bad they're playing a Wildcats team who could make the case for being one of the worst offensive teams in College Basketball. I envision a sloppy game that will easily get us another ticket cashed.

Sometimes it takes a minute to put my games up because I actually, wait for it, handicap games.  When College Basketball hits it makes it more time consuming, so I do apologize for the plays getting out a little later.  It's more important that I'm right than early, something I was taught a long time ago in the media world.  The reason I bring this up is because that extra work has found this gem.  I never care who's playing as long as the match is right.  I have the bookmakers off at least 5-7 points in this one, so we're going to make them pay for that oversight.

The Cowboys are finally able to get a legit home game after their arena was damaged by Hurricane Laura and Delta in 2020. Houston Baptist will be what the doctor ordered as emotions and energy will be high, I think that leads to a tough defensive game. This number is way off my power ratings with or without the excitement surrounding the arena.

The Norse have shot 40% from the field this season making them one of the worst offensive teams in College Basketball. They're not great defensively either but they are playing a Penguins team that doesn't have enough weapons to take advantage.

In their earlier meeting, NC State made 50% of its two-point attempts against a pretty good Cardinal's defense, and that was despite Dereon Seabron shooting only 4-13 inside the arc. NC State has shot 50% or better inside the arc exactly one time since this game.

Louisville, meanwhile, shot only 43.8% inside the arc.

I don't expect either to happen again, but I do expect another under with the books making a 12-pt adjustment from game one.

Belllarmine is one of the best teams in College Basketball at limiting opposition possessions.  My sources say that pace of game will dictate that this will not come anywhere near the outrageous total.

These are two of the worst defensive teams in College Basketball which is why the total is so high.  The bookmakers are begging you to take the under but we're sharper than that because we know the pace of the game will easily be an over pace.

This is an Iowa team that will put up and give up a lot of points but with this being Maryland's first true road test of the season, I'm not sure if they can do their part getting us over the total. I need to see how they react in a hostile environment when they haven't exactly been a model of consistency at home or in their Neutral site games.

I suspect that UAB will get their points but on the other side of the ball the Miners are ranked 296th in FG% going against a Blazers team who are one of the Elite defensive teams in the country.

GU is coming off a 94-59 victory over Northern Arizona on Dec. 20, in which Chet Holmgren led all scorers with 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots. The Zags shot 55% from the floor and 45% from deep while forcing 20 turnovers from the Lumberjacks, who were led by Jalen Cone’s 19 points.

Along with being the last tune-up game before WCC play, the Zags are expected to be fully rested ahead of Tuesday’s game. The November slate that featured three games in five days, including top-5 matchups against UCLA and Duke, was a test for this young roster. It’s safe to assume that fatigue could have played a role in the nine-point win over Tarleton State at home and a loss to Alabama in Seattle.

Oregon’s plan for this game should be relatively simple: pound the ball in the paint.

N’Faly Dante is coming off perhaps the best game of his career on Wednesday against the Portland Pilots, dropping 20 points and nine rebounds on 9/11 shooting.

Baylor’s guard play is excellent again, despite sending three players to the NBA, but they do not have any established rim protectors under the rim.

Their tallest rotation player is the 6’10 Flo Thamba, who is averaging under five points and five rebounds in just 18 minutes per game.

The Bears do play physical, and they won’t just allow Dante and freshman Franck Kepnang to establish position and go to work down low, but Oregon has the depth in the frontcourt to continually pound the ball and force Baylor to guard them in the post.

The Jaguars are one of the better shooting teams in the country, making 47% of their shots,  I think they'll have an easy time finding shots against the Texans who have allowed teams true shooting percentage to be around 55%.

The Cougars have been cranking out over's this season and we're going right back to the well to see if they can improve to 10-3 to the over. The numbers would indicate that both teams should go over but I've seen this too many times where the bookmaker has an opinion and they're trying to bait you into taking the other side.

New Mexico State has been playing well of late but their 26 turnovers against Loyola Marymount le to 32 points for the Lions.  If they do that against the Cougars the outcome won't be so favorable. The Cougars will put up a better effort than they did against North Dakota State after fighting through injuries and sickness.

The Rhode Island Rams have been solid to begin this season as they are 7-3 to begin the regular season. They are being led by sophomore center Makhel Mitchell so far and that is going to help them progress throughout the regular season. They are coming off a 72-62 home win over the Sacred Heart Pioneers. The biggest problem that popped up was the fact they allowed the Pioneers to shoot 43.8 percent from the field throughout the game.

The defense needs to step up more consistently as they are allowing 36.4 percent of shots to fall against them and are giving up 62.8 ppg, which is 52nd in the nation.

Until I see progress on the defensive end, I will likely go over in many Rams games.

Though the Warriors record and offense don’t necessarily jump out at you, the Warriors do have a rather interesting defense when it comes to on-ball pressure and disrupting passing lanes. They rank ninth in the country in steal rate and rank 22nd in the country in steals per game, which is notable because of the slow-as-molasses pace they like to play (350th adjust tempo in KenPom).

They'll do just enough to keep this game under the total.

The Flyers have dominated the paint offensively, hitting 57.9% of their 2-point attempts, which ranks 15th in the nation. They’ve struggled with taking care of the basketball, as they rank 271st in turnover percentage.

Dayton owns a well-balanced offense that has seven players averaging over 6.0 points per game this season. The group utilizes its depth and saw five players score in double figures in the upset victory over Kansas.

The Rio Grande offensive efficiency is among the bottom in College Basketball.  They own an ineffective effective FG% with 3-pt shooting not a strong part of the offense. They are going up against one of the best defenses in the country so it's hard to believe that the Vaqueros will do enough to push this game over the total.

These are two teams that will slow the pace down.  Both teams rank in the bottom half of College Basketball in possessions per game. Even though Drake runs as an efficient of an offense as you'll see in the halfcourt, Belmont won't do enough to push this game over.

The Seminoles are better from the field than they showed in the loss to the Tar Heels and the regular season finale against Notre Dame.

This isn’t always the best-shooting team from three, but it’s great at attacking and getting to the rim, and when it does hit from the outside, forget it.

They won the first meeting back in mid-January when the threes were falling and the team held its own on the boards

This will be the first time where the Cowboys will be fully healthy against Baylor, having missed Cunningham in the first game while Likekele was out for the second meeting.  With both back on board and the Cowboys now healthy, Oklahoma State must take advantage of what Kansas State exploited – and they could potentially avoid the season sweep.

If the quarterfinals were any indication, then this game will come down to two things: turnovers and inside play.  Against the Wildcats, Baylor turned the ball over a season-worst 21 times – but Kansas State failed to capitalize, being outscored in points off turnovers, 18-17.  Oklahoma State, meanwhile, is also coming off a game with 20 turnovers – and paid for it, with the Mountaineers maintaining a 22-13 edge in points off those miscues.

Georgetown is an outstanding 3-point shooting team. The Hoyas made 17 of 33 from deep in two games against the Hall and 9 of 22 in Thursday’s upset of Villanova. The Pirates have defended the arc poorly this season but did a good job against St. John’s Thursday. Throughout his career, this has been Kevin Willard’s specialty. The outcome probably hinges on it.

The Red Raiders did just fine a few weeks ago in the 68-59 win over Texas.

They were fine from the field, stopped Texas and its offense, and they more than held their owns on the boards to eliminate second chance point opportunities.

Texas Tech is about the defensive side, leading the Big 12 in scoring D, doing a great job of keeping games low-scoring, close, and then getting to the free throw line. The team took 26 free throws in the last win over Texas and 28 in in the first meeting.

Things run through Moore, a solid senior at point guard. He’s averaging 14.8 points, but UConn held him to single digits in both games. DePaul is shooting 41.9 percent, 31.3 on 3s, and won despite going 4-for-16 on 3s vs. Providence.

The Scarlett Knights aren't going to shoot almost 50% in this one as they did in their last meeting.  Bet the Hoosiers know that they need a better defensive effort to move on.

The UTSA Roadrunners enter this game in great form as they have won seven of their last eight games including a ten-point victory against the Charlotte 49ers in their last game. In that game, UTSA's defense was amazing as it only allowed 62 points while forcing the opposition into shooting just 31.5% from the floor and just 29.4% from the three-point line. However, that stellar defensive performance was unexpected since the Roadrunners are allowing 73.5 points per game. Now, the Roadrunners will be looking for another quality defensive performance with a conference tournament game up next.

The Cyclones don’t rebound well enough, they turn it over a whole lot, and consistent shooting has been a problem. They haven’t hit the 30% mark from three in any of the last three games or in five of the last seven.

One big run from the Sooners should be able to put this away. In the first two games against the Cyclones, OU didn’t shoot well from three and had a few issues getting that run

Notre Dame was looking like it was tired of this whole 2020-2021 college basketball season thing as Wake Forest was rocking and rolling for most of the game. One massive run and a Trey Wertz last-second bomb of a three later – in an 80-77 win – and the Irish get to play another day.

Throw in the win over Florida State – even though FSU had the ACC regular season championship wrapped up and wasn’t totally into it – and Notre Dame has had a fun week.

It played North Carolina well in a 66-65 loss in early January, doing a nice job of surviving despite getting destroyed on the boards. It’s a team that’s been solid at playing just about any style and keeping games close, if not win – at least against the mediocre.

Texas A&M and Vanderbilt meet for the first time all season as the two open the Southeastern Conference tournament Wednesday evening in Nashville, Tenn.

The teams had both of their scheduled regular-season meetings canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.

The 13th-seeded Aggies (8-9, 2-8 SEC), who played a league-low 10 conference games, lost their entire February slate due to the virus. After winning at Kansas State on Jan. 30, A&M didn't play again until it lost 63-57 to Mississippi State on March 3.

Duke rolled Boston College right away and didn’t let up in an 86-51 win in the first round. Now it needs to stay hot and go on a epic weekend run to get into the NCAA Tournament.

If the D plays like that again, it might actually happen.

The Blue Devils haven’t been big on the whole D thing this year, but it stopped BC dead cold from three, the O moved the ball around well, and the team showed another level of intensity.

Coming off of a 20-day layoff, Xavier built a 12-point halftime lead behind some hot 3-point shooting and hung on for a 13-point win despite Butler getting back within four around the seven-minute mark of the second half. Paul Scruggs, Adam Kunkel, and Nate Johnson combined to go 9-for-11 from 3-point range for the game and the Musketeers were 10-for-20 as a team.

It's the second game where the legs get heavy.

Another game where the books want you to take the over based on these two teams' previous meetings.  Both games easily landed in the 150' but not tonight.

Hofstra put up 83 points against Delaware, thats 10 points above their season average. Don't expect that kind of offensive again tonight as the number is a little inflated because of what the public just saw.

Sometimes a number tells a story and it certainly does here. Neither team has found themselves under this number much this season but it seems like the bookmakers are begging you to take the over.  We're not falling for that.

This total looks to be a little bit high considering 75% of Drexel's games have gone under this number and 67% of the Cougars games have also gone under this number. I think it will be close but this will cash an under ticket.

The Billikens shot 40% at La Salle, their worst shooting game of the season. They have made seven of 32 3-pointers in the last two games.

Townson only averages 62 points per game and shoots a horrible 37% from the field, which is one of the lowest percentages in college basketball. The Tigers are led by guard Zane Martin, who averages 16.5 points and 3.5 assists per game. His backcourt mate Nicholas Timberlake averages 11.9 points per game while Jason Gibson averages 10.1 points per game. Charles Thompson scores 9.5 points and brings down a team-high 6.5 rebounds per game.

Indiana State won yesterday becaue of their work on the defensive end. The Purple Aces are a dangerous 3-point shooting team, but the Sycamores limited them to 34.7 percent shooting overall and just 4 of 17 from beyond the arc.

It will be a quick turnaround for The Citadel Bulldogs in their 2021 Southern Conference Tournament run. After scoring 100 points in the opening round Friday afternoon, the Bulldogs face a tough challenge early Saturday against the UNC Greensboro Spartans at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center.

Both teams come into this one giving up a ton of points so naturally we're going under the total.

Both teams are coming off of games where they needed to do better on the boards.  Expect one and done's all night as both teams will be focused on the paint.
