09-28-19 | Cincinnati -3.5 v. Marshall | 52-14 | Win | 100 | 27 h 9 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play is on the Cincinnati Bearcats The Bearcats have already shown us that they ready for prime time and their three loss since 2018 have com to Temple, UCF, and Ohio State. They dominated UCLA start to finish and feature a defensive front that allows just 3.2 ypc., not good news for a Herd team that depends on going overland. Marshall is supremely coached by Doc Holiday but at the end of the day, Cincinnati wins by double-digits. |
09-28-19 | Wake Forest v. Boston College +6.5 | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 27 h 40 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play is on the Boston College Eagles The road team is 5-0 and 4-1 ATS over the last five meetings. The Deacs are 4-0 for the third time under the Clawson regime but have never hit 5-0. Wake has lost three straight as a road favorite and this is the first time since 2011 where the Demons are ACC road favorites. B.C. on a long run of tech recommendations including a 14-3-1 ATS run in all ACC games, 9-2-1 as a dog and 5-1 as a home dog. The better team, at home, and getting almost a full TD is too juicy to ignore. |
09-28-19 | BYU v. Toledo +2.5 | 21-28 | Win | 100 | 22 h 15 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play is on the Toledo Rockets BYU is the only team in the FBS to open the season playing five power conference teams. The Cougars defense struggled against the more high octane offenses like Washington and USC. The Coogs are on the road again playing in arguably the toughest home venue in the MAC. Toledo has a powered offense (currently No.11 in the FBS) that is potent and balanced and eventually take over against a very tired BYU outfit. The points are a bonus if still available. Toledo straight up. |
09-27-19 | Penn State v. Maryland OVER 60 | 59-0 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 38 m | Show
DMack's Friday NCAAF Bankroll Builder is on Penn State/Maryland Over Penn State goes on the road for the first time this year after barely beating Pitt 17-10 in a rivalry game. What was most disturbing in that game was that the Panthers passed for 372 yards on the Nits who allowed 23 points in both their D-I home games. The high-powered Terps were handed a reality check by Temple last week. Fear The Turtle will get theirs on offense but they also put out a defense that was thrown on for 607 yards in two D-I games. Expect big plays and a lot of points. |
09-26-19 | Eagles v. Packers -4 | 34-27 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 17 m | Show
DMack's Thursday Night Thunder is on the Green Bay Packers Green Bay is getting better each week as the defense has played great and Aaron Rodgers has slowly bought into the new offense. The defense has been so good that it has allowed just four touchdowns in 36 drives while forcing 15 three-and-outs. Rodgers has made it clear all week that it was time for "his" offense to carry more of the load and you can expect that to be the case here versus a Philly defense that has been a slow starter, trailing at the half of their first three games by a 50-23 agg. Pack wins this easily, lets call it 27-20 in a game not as close as the final. |
09-23-19 | Bears v. Redskins +5.5 | 31-15 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 7 m | Show
DMack's Bears/Skins Monday Night Magic is on the Washington Redskins The Bears have struggled mightily on offense while the Skins have been unable to stop a light breeze. Something has to give. The Bears have been so bad in fact that they've scored one touchdown on 21 drives while going 6-for-26 on third down. The Skins have moved the ball against quality defenses, that hasn't been the problem. See this as a game that is decided by a FG either way so we'll take the home team getting 5 1/2 points that is 6-2 as a dog in it's L8 with a real starting QB and 9-3 L12 ATS vs. any non-division opposition. The Skins could easily win this game straight up. |
09-22-19 | Rams -3 v. Browns | 20-13 | Win | 100 | 56 h 7 m | Show
DMack Sunday Night Magic is on the Los Angeles Rams The Rams won their first two games and are 8-5 ATS as a road fave under McVay. Los Angeles is yet to give up a touchdown in the first half and have a way of wearing their opponents out and extending late. The Browns are as overrated as the Michigan Wolverines. Cleveland split their first two games but they won't see anyone dressed in a Jet uniform here. Baker and Co. just 5-23 on 3rd down and you just can't beat the Rams with extending drives. This one is easy. Rams 31-17. |
09-22-19 | Giants v. Bucs OVER 47.5 | 32-31 | Win | 100 | 51 h 25 m | Show
DMack's Week III NFL Total of the Week is on the Giants/Bucs OVER  The Giants have officially ushered in the Daniel Jones era and how he responds in his first NFL start is anyone's guess. He'll be fine handing off the Saquon Barkley and the receiving corps is getting healthy. Tampa Bay was sharp in its win last Thursday night and will have a couple of days to prep and get healthy. Famous Jameis has an elite offense and faces a Big Blue defense that is a perfect 6-for-6 giving up touchdowns when opponents visit their red zone. Just see each team's best unit exploiting their opponents weakest link. Play the OVER. |
09-22-19 | Broncos v. Packers -7 | 16-27 | Win | 100 | 49 h 48 m | Show
DMack's NFL Power Pack winner on the Green Bay Packers The Broncos are in a world of hurt. They have no offense at all scoring just 27 points in their 7 trips to red zone and … the vaunted Elway defense is just the fourth team in 50 years to NOT record a sack or create a turnover in their first two games. The Packers beat Chicago and Minnesota thanks to a defense that gave up just two TDs in 26 Bear/Vike drives. The offense is still in low gear but is showing "buy" signs and figures to roll here. Packers 27-7. |
09-22-19 | Lions +7 v. Eagles | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 49 h 42 m | Show
DMack's NFL Power Pack winner on the Detroit Lions Strangely enough, most of the Eagles that were "hurt" in last week's SNF showdown with the Falcons, will play today. The Lions are an improbable 1-0-1 but have been playing good defense and creating turnovers. The Eagles have somehow converted 60% of their 3rd downs and have had a 9 and 16 yard edge in field position in their first two games yet trailed both at the half. Philly just 2-7 L9 as a home favorite making a full touchdown impossible to pass up. |
09-22-19 | Falcons v. Colts | 24-27 | Win | 100 | 49 h 41 m | Show
DMack's NFL Power Pack winner on the Indianapolis Colts The Falcons were dismembered by the Vikings and needed an act of God to beat an injury riddled Eagle outfit last week. The Colts should be 2-0 as Jacoby Brissett has been brilliant for the Colts, completing 69% of his passes and going 14-27 on third down. The Colts have also run the ball for a whopping 370 yards in two games and catch a tailor made opponent for their home opener. Colts 26-13. |
09-21-19 | UCLA v. Washington State -18 | 67-63 | Loss | -110 | 81 h 17 m | Show
DMack Saturday Night Can of Whup Ass is on the Washington State Cougars  The UCLA Bruins have been brutal in their 0-3 start, rushing for just a little more than 100 ypg. and completing just 54% of its passes. Washington State got by Houston in last and looks to take care of business in conference play. The Cougars have been given up a lot of passing yards but their own QB is completing 78% of his own passes. The teams haven't met in three year but Wazzou HC Mike "The Pirate" Leach has a long memory and has never had a compunction to run it up on anyone, never mind Chip Kelly who never minded dishing it out when he was at Oregon. Easy Money …. Washington State 54-20. |
09-21-19 | Oregon v. Stanford UNDER 58.5 | 21-6 | Win | 100 | 78 h 48 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on Oregon/Stanford Over This is obviously a down year for Shaw and the Stanford Cardinal which surrendered 90 points and 1037 yards in blowout losses to UCF and USC. You could even say that the Knights called off the dogs last week after leading 38-7 at half. The Quack Attack moved the ball well at Auburn and then piled on in a revenge matchup over Nevada last time out. Stanford can move the football as they've played from behind all year and last year, the Tree came back from 24-7 down to win 38-31 OT. That final sounds about right here. |
09-21-19 | Central Florida -10.5 v. Pittsburgh | 34-35 | Loss | -104 | 35 h 14 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play is on the Central Florida Golden Knights UCF dispatched Stanford easily as the now nationally ranked Knights continue pound non-conference opponents hoping to get some respect. Here they face a Pitt outfit that left it on the field last week versus Penn State in a rivalry showdown. UCF now rocks a 20-8-1 ATS since 2017 while the host Panthers are just 2-8-1 L11 entertaining non-conference foes here. The UCF juggernaut marches on. |
09-21-19 | Wyoming +3.5 v. Tulsa | 21-24 | Win | 100 | 27 h 26 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play is on the Wyoming Cowboys After getting waxed by Michigan State, Tulsa played its heart out against Oklahoma State before giving it up in the second half. If the Golden Hurricane thinks it's getting a soft touch here, it is sadly mistaken as these Cowboys have won seven straight dating back to last year and are 7-0 ATS L7 vs. ATS opponents. Wyoming gets mulligan vs. Idaho last week after throttling Missouri in opener. The Mountain West team plays great defense and make the most out of red zone opportunities where they are currently No.1 in the FBS in efficiency. Wyoming straight up. |
09-21-19 | Troy -17.5 v. Akron | 35-7 | Win | 100 | 27 h 49 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play is on the Troy Trojans The prolific Troy offense is averaging 41 points and 520 ypg. spearheaded by triggerman Barker who threw for 540 yards and four touchdowns last week against better. Here he'll face a Zip pass defense ranked No.125 in the FBS, No.122 in scoring defense, and No.124 in scoring offense. This one could get ugly and we're counting on it. |
09-21-19 | Michigan v. Wisconsin -3 | 14-35 | Win | 100 | 71 h 49 m | Show
DMack Michigan/Wisconsin Big 10 Super Play is on the Wisconsin Badgers The home team is 9-1 in the series and the Wolverines have lost four straight visits here, the last three all by 14 points. The favorite is also 4-1 L5. Michigan got all the preseason noise and has underachieved to this point. Wisconsin has be overlooked by the shade of Nebraska and smoked it's first two opponents by a 110-0 aggregate. At the end of the day, the big physical Wisconsin offensive line will wear down Michigan. Badger RB Jonathan Taylor will be the best player on the filed and that will count for something. Wisconsin 26-10. |
09-21-19 | Boston College v. Rutgers +8.5 | 30-16 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 51 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play is on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Boston College is no doubt embarrassed by last week's loss to Kansas but the Eagles cannot stop the run and the feisty Scarlett Knights will be more than happy to just pound away with Pacheco and Blackshear. In fact, B.C. is giving up 214 rpg. to this point at 4.8 ypc so getting the bad taste out of their mouth might be easier said than done against a rested and ready to go Rutgers team off a bye. Grab the points. |
09-20-19 | Utah -3.5 v. USC | 23-30 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 4 m | Show
DMack's Friday NCAAF Bankroll Builder is on the Utah Running Utes The home side has won six straight in the series (5-1 ATS) but that run will end tonight. Utah dominated in Salt Lake last year limiting the Trojans to season lows in yards and first downs with a team not as good as this one. USC in improved somewhat but starts a freshman quarterback that has turned the ball over and the Troy stop unit as had issue versus the run and face a team that has rushed for 479 yards in two games against good FCS opponents already. This game id likely headed North to -4 and beyond. Take the best that you can knowing that we fully expect the visitor to win by double-digits. |
09-19-19 | Titans v. Jaguars UNDER 39 | 7-20 | Win | 100 | 9 h 10 m | Show
DMack's NFL Thursday Night Thunder is on the Titans/Jags Under Want nothing to do with the side here as these are two of the most unreliable betting teams in the NFL. That said, we can make a solid case for under here as both teams have struggled on offense. Throw out the Titans game against the Browns where they feasted on Baker turnovers, Tennessee has converted just 3-20 third downs on offense which is indicative of what they are. They'll face a staunch Jag defense that looked like 2017 edition after getting sliced and diced (like most team do) against the Chiefs in their opener. On offense, the Jags start a rookie QB making his second start and he'll be handing off to Leonard Fournette and avoiding Titan pressure all night. Recent editions of this series show a 15-10 game and a 9-6 game last year. Both teams are rushing teams and running the football mercifully also runs the clock shortening the game. The first one to 17 wins here, play the under. |
09-19-19 | Houston v. Tulane UNDER 57.5 | 31-38 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 1 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Thursday Night Thunder is on Houston/Tulane Under Interesting game here as Houston rebuilds with Dana Holgorsen and Tulane is far from the pushover that it has been in recent years. Houston has already faced Oklahoma and Washington State, coming up short. The Green Wave plays outstanding defense and features a power ground game that they rarely deviate from. They do it well, force you to bet them, and are well coached under Willie Fritz. Houston was 14-7 at half with the more explosive Wazzou Cougars last week. Styles dicatate that this final winds up closer to 40 than 60. |
09-15-19 | Eagles -1 v. Falcons | 20-24 | Loss | -120 | 36 h 19 m | Show
DMack NFL Sunday Night Magic is on the Philadelphia Eagles Philadelphia sleepwalked to the half vs. Washington and trailed 20-6 at the half before storming back to win. Wentz and Co. meet a desperate Falcon team that is a dangerous 8-2 L10 home dog that did less than nothing in their opening loss at the Vikings. Quinn is coaching for his job but that will not be enough to get by an Eagle outfit that has won 8 of their last 10 road openers straight up. Philly 27-20. |
09-15-19 | Chiefs v. Raiders OVER 52.5 | 28-10 | Loss | -114 | 83 h 31 m | Show
DMack NFL Power Pack winner is on the Raiders/Chiefs Over. The Chiefs are banged up and not close to 100% but that still didn't stop Pat Mahomes throwing for 378 yards and three touchdowns at Jacksonville last week. The K.C. defense is new but is still a work in progress that was torched by a rookie who completed his first 13 passes after Foles got hurt. Carr and his new offense were razor sharp against a tons better Bronco pressure stop unit and are more than capable trading points. Play the over. |
09-15-19 | Colts v. Titans -3 | 19-17 | Loss | -115 | 80 h 32 m | Show
DMack NFL Power Pack winner is on the Tennessee Titans Not over-reacting to the Titan's blowout of the Brown but don't want to minimize the effort either. Tennessee capitalized on three takeaways and the Titans generally play solid defense. The Colts were fortunate to take the Chargers to OT and were unable to stop the run all day. Hard to see how they'll have an answer for Derrick Henry here. Tennessee 23-13. |
09-15-19 | Vikings v. Packers UNDER 44.5 | 16-21 | Win | 100 | 79 h 30 m | Show
DMack NFL Power Pack winner is on the Vikings/Packers Under The home team is 12-1-1 L14 in the series but not interested in the side here. Green Bay won at Chicago 10-3 in their opener despite generating just 13 first downs and 213 yards of total offense. The Pack defense looked as good as it has in the last decade. The Vikes are going to try and the run the football which also runs the clock and shortens a game. Cousins threw just 10 times against the Falcons but may need to here with the ground attack taking on a superior front seven here. This one looks to be an old-fashioned black and blue division slobberknocker that might be settled by the kickers. 19-16. |
09-15-19 | Seahawks v. Steelers -3.5 | 28-26 | Loss | -102 | 29 h 60 m | Show
DMack NFL Power Pack winner is on the Pittsburgh Steelers Love the Steelers here to rebound from their humiliating national TV loss last Sunday night. Seattle won by divine intervention last week, beating the Bengals despite being outgained 429-233. The Hawks are strangled by Russell Wilson's salary and it will show for year's to come as Seattle is unable to afford to bring in talent. The Steelers have won 14 of their L16 home openers (11-5 ATS) and will be looking to make amends. They do so against a team they beat by a combined 48-0 in the last two meetings on this field. |
09-15-19 | Chargers v. Lions | 10-13 | Loss | -125 | 29 h 58 m | Show
DMack NFL Power Pack winner is on the San Diego Chargers The Lions blew a 24-6 fourth quarter lead at Arizona and were fortunate to escape with a tie. The Bolts took their foot of the pedal before winning in OT over Indy. The Charger offense did pretty much what it wanted and Philip Rivers looks to be in mid-season form. The visitor has been a solid road play for years (9-5 L14 ATS) and are also 4-2-1 under Lynn as a road favorite. Chargers 27-10. |
09-14-19 | Texas State v. SMU -17 | 17-47 | Win | 100 | 29 h 22 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on SMU The SMU was an easy winner for us last week and we're coming right back with the Stangs for many of the same reasons. Southern Meth features a high-octane offense that can beat you in the air or on the ground with the ground with serial slasher Xavier Jones. Texas State has a quarterback that has thrown four picks in the Wildcats first two games and will be throwing into the teeth of a secondary here that has been bolstered by four upperclassman Power Five transfers that played for the likes of Auburn, Nebraska, and USC. The Ponies have already beaten better on the road and have no excuses to not win easily here. |
09-14-19 | Iowa v. Iowa State | 18-17 | Win | 100 | 10 h 29 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa was given little run at the beginning of the year but the Hawkeyes are now 2-0, albeit against Miami, Oh and Rutgers, and should be unscored upon. The Clones were taken to two OTs by Northern Iowa and are 0-4 SU (0-3-1 ATS) in the last four games of series. This rivalry is always a brawl played at top intensity but Iowa is the better team here and has been money in this spot going 15-2-1 the last six years as a road favorite under Ferentz. Iowa 23-10. |
09-14-19 | Arizona State v. Michigan State -14 | 10-7 | Loss | -110 | 59 h 39 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Super Play on Michigan State The Spartans have been the sexy pick this week in Las Vegas as the Sparty defense appears to be it's usual self while the offense is the best of the recent Dantonio era. A revenge spot here as Herm and the Pitchforks won 16-13 in the desert last year. This Michigan State is the real deal and in the end, ASU's basic lack of talent is exposed in a 20-point loss. |
09-14-19 | Stanford v. Central Florida -7 | 27-45 | Win | 100 | 69 h 35 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack is on the UFC Knights UFC got off to a slow start last week before blowing out FAU on the road in a lightning shortened game in South Beach. The Knights are settling on a QB and Josh Heupel has this UCF offense hitting on all cylinders. Stanford is in a world of hurt after getting spanked by a true freshman USC QB last week, travels West to East, and has significant injuries to the offensive line. The Cardinal gets starting QB Costello back but even if he brought Abbott with him, they couldn't keep the The Tree to falling to 2-6 L8 as a road dog. UCF does whatever it wants.  |
09-14-19 | UNLV v. Northwestern -18 | 14-30 | Loss | -114 | 58 h 8 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play is on the Northwestern Wildcats Northwestern's loss at Stanford the first week of the season doesn't look like much right now but the Wildcats are made of better stuff and get the right patsy to pummel here. The Rebels beat a very bad Southern Utah outfit in their opener and then put up less than token resistance in a four touchdown loss to Arkansas State in a game they opened up at as favorite. The Cats have their Big Ten opener next week but were so bad at Palo Alto that Pat Fitzgerald will have them believing they are playing the Vikings. Bottom line … the Rebs are one the 10 worst teams in FBS. |
09-14-19 | East Carolina v. Navy -7 | 10-42 | Win | 100 | 26 h 50 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on Navy The Middies have had a reality check the last couple of year but this edition might be closer to the solid editions that were featured in the first part of the decade. Navy loves to see ECU who they've beaten by 65-45-56 points in the last three meetings. ECU was beat up by a rebuilding NC State team in their opener and the Pirates face a disciplined senior Navy signal caller with 26 starts. Navy won't win by 50+ here but they don't have to for us to cash a ticket. |
09-14-19 | USC -3.5 v. BYU | 27-30 | Loss | -108 | 26 h 44 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on USC With all due respect to Trojan HC Clay Helton, he just might be the ultimate cockroach in the Pac 12. His seat was hot and he was the early favorite at many books to be the first coach fired. USC won it's opener while losing starting QB J.T. Daniels in process and then took Stanford behind the woodshed behind their true frosh replacement signal caller who set all kinds of records in the beat down of The Tree. USC is now a legit threat to win the Pac 12 and has Utah on deck. That said, they face a BYU team here whose scheduling (Utah, Tennessee) is done by the Marquis de Sade leaving the Cougars "defrosted" already. |
09-14-19 | Pittsburgh v. Penn State -17 | 10-17 | Loss | -109 | 55 h 40 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Super Play on Penn State Penn State, like Iowa and Wisconsin on the other side of the Big Ten, has been overlooked all summer and is much better than expected. The Nits were sloppy against Buffalo of the MAC last week but rolled in the second half behind the team's superior depth. PSU's M.O. for the year is going to be playing close in the first half and then flipping the switch in the second. This is a renewal of an old rivalry (Joe Pa insisted on a 2-for-1 after PSU joined the Big Ten) and is meaningful to both for recruiting. Penn State 48-17. |
09-14-19 | NC State -7 v. West Virginia | 27-44 | Loss | -101 | 22 h 25 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Power Pack Play on NC State These were supposed to be two teams in rebuild mode but while West Virginia has all the makings of a train wreck, NC State is coming on fast and well ahead of schedule. The Wolf Pack beat up two tomato cans to start the year but the offense that returned just four starters is doing some real nice things. The Mounties were left toothless by Dana Holgorsen who saw the writing on the wall and flew the coup. WVU was mauled by Mizzou last week and was life and death to beat James Madison in it's opener. In the end, N.C. State has no excuses for not beating a bad West Virginia team by two touchdowns. |
09-14-19 | Miami-OH v. Cincinnati -17 | 13-35 | Win | 100 | 3 h 55 m | Show
DMack Subscriber Late Steam Bonus Play is on the Cincinnati Bearcats Analysis to follow |
09-13-19 | North Carolina v. Wake Forest OVER 66 | 18-24 | Loss | -109 | 30 h 28 m | Show
DMack's NCAAF Friday Night Lights is on North Carolina/Wake Over These two haven't met in football in four years but strap it up here on Tobacco Road in what figures to be a shootout start to finish. Wake has scored 79 points, thrown for 713 yards, and completed 74% of its passes in two wins. The Mack Brown magic is 2-0 and the Tar Heel offense is big and physical and comes right at you. Both teams have suspect defenses as best and you can expect a game featuring big play after big play. Play the over. |
09-12-19 | Bucs +7.5 v. Panthers | 20-14 | Win | 100 | 9 h 58 m | Show
DMack's NFL Thursday Night Thunder is on the Tampa Bay Buccs Both teams will be playing with a lot of urgency here to avoid the dreaded 0-2 and this is a division game to boot. This Capper is a Bruce Arians believer so will give the Bucs a mulligan for last week's terrible performance which featured four turnovers and two 49ers defensive touchdowns. The Panthers 30-27 loss to the Rams in their opener was not as close as the final score. Carolina just 8-10 in their L18 tries as a home favorite and Cam Newton is turnover prone himself and less than 100% physically. Grab the full touchdown or more. Hooks are still readily available at this writing. |
09-09-19 | Broncos -140 v. Raiders | 16-24 | Loss | -140 | 11 h 1 m | Show
DMack's Broncos/Raiders Monday Night Mauler is on the Denver Broncos Tonight's MNF finale features an old-school AFL West rivalry matchup between two teams that have struggled of late and are looking to establish new cultures. Vic Fangio is an old-school bad ass who has coached for 40 years and most recently has turned the Bear defense around. He inherits a solid group at Mile High that will bring lots of pressure from the edges with Von Miller and Bradley Chubb and should get enough production from Joe Flacco to get a rare Denver road win. At this writing and with the whole AB fiasco, the line is pretty much 2 1/2 juiced across the board so for 40 cents we'll grab the intruders to win straight up. |

09-08-19 | Chiefs -3 v. Jaguars | 40-26 | Win | 100 | 50 h 21 m | Show
DMack Sunday NFL Power Pack Play on the Kansas City Chiefs You most likely won't be able to find a 3 at this point but even at -3.5/4, you have an offensive juggernaut that until proven otherwise, will have to be a team that scores 30 per in your handicap. Last year, the Jags problems rest on offense and the dead season blamed on Blake Bortles. Nick Foles takes over but this team did little to nothing on offense in August and will have to show us first. Chiefs 5-1 ATS in L6 road openers and 15-7 L22 as a road favorite. Lay it. |

09-08-19 | Ravens -6.5 v. Dolphins | 59-10 | Win | 100 | 50 h 20 m | Show
DMack Sunday NFL Power Pack Play on the Baltimore Ravens This is going to be the biggest decision on the day in Las Vegas. Historically you can make a strong case for Miami but the Fish have made it clear that they are in full tank mode. The Ravens followed their success with Lamar Jackson and rolled through the preseason. Not necessarily a great spot, on the road in Week I in hot steamy Miami … but Baltimore face a team that just unloaded arguably their two best defensive players and also their blindside protection for Fitzmagic. Baltimore 27-10. |
09-08-19 | Titans +6 v. Browns | 43-13 | Win | 100 | 50 h 16 m | Show
DMack Sunday NFL Power Pack Play on the Tennessee Titans Analysis to follow |
09-07-19 | Arkansas v. Ole Miss UNDER 51 | 17-31 | Win | 100 | 33 h 13 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on Arkansas/Ole Miss Under This has been a hotly contest matchup with the last four meetings all decided by four points or less. Arkansas "powered" by Portland State with the Razors 11 new starters on offense. Ole Miss dropped a 15-10 decision to Memphis. There was a better number earlier in the week so sharp money keeps showing up on the low and this one will likely be in the 40's at kickoff |
09-07-19 | North Texas v. SMU -3 | 27-49 | Win | 100 | 16 h 6 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the SMU This is a revenge game for the Mustangs who saw their three-game series wins streak stopped last year. The Mean Green caught a lot of breaks last year and do roll with a QB with 37 starts but not much else as was indicative of their opening struggle versus FCS school. SMU beat a better Arkansas State team on the road last week and figures to roll at home. |
09-07-19 | Central Florida -11.5 v. Florida Atlantic | 48-14 | Win | 100 | 16 h 56 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the UCF Golden Knights UCF's biggest question mark coming in to the year was at QB with no proven commodity. Apparently, Josh Heupel has three QBs that he can go to as he pleases. FAU is a far cry from the Florida A&M Rattlers but the Owls first quarter against and Ohio State team that lost interest after eight minutes (28-0) would look to be their real profile. |
09-07-19 | Southern Utah v. Northern Iowa -24 | 14-34 | Loss | -120 | 31 h 49 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Northern Iowa Panthers Northern Iowa couldn't have been any unluckier than they were in their double-OT loss to Iowa State. The Panthers played on even ground with the Cyclones throughout and will enjoy a soft touch here in Southern Utah. UNLV could have run for 700 yards on the T-Birds had they wanted and the final would have been 56-7 had Sanchez not called off the dogs. |
09-07-19 | Northern Colorado v. Washington State -34 | 17-59 | Win | 100 | 11 h 18 m | Show
DMack's Week II NCAAF Bully Beat Down is on the Washington State Cougars The Pirate, Mike Leach, showed no compunction is spanking an outmanned New Mexico State outfit 58-7 last week. In typical Cougar fashion versus the have nots, Wazzou spread the ball around, getting everyone involved. Northern Colorado was beaten up by San Jose State last weekend which is all you need to know about the Bears. |
09-07-19 | Illinois -21 v. Connecticut | 31-23 | Loss | -108 | 34 h 12 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Illinois Fighting Illini Lovie Smith is coaching for his job and taking no prisoners against a soft non-conference schedule. UConn may very well the lowest power rated team in Division and the Huskies were life and death to beat Wagner in their opener. The Illini have been taking sharp money over the last two weeks and will have no excuses again this week. |
09-07-19 | Nebraska -4 v. Colorado | 31-34 | Loss | -109 | 29 h 4 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Nebraska Cornhuskers Nebraska was guilty of reading their own clippings and forgetting to show up for their opener. The Huskers prevailed thanks to two defensive touchdowns and a punt return. The Blackshirts face former Big 12 rival Colorado here and the offense should do some business against a Buffalo team that game up 500+ yards to a very ordinary Colorado State in that rivalry win. Nebraska puts the hammer down. |
09-07-19 | Rutgers v. Iowa -19.5 | 0-30 | Win | 100 | 48 h 34 m | Show
DMack Saturday NCAAF Power Pack Play on the Iowa Hawkeyes The Hawkeyes won, pushed, or lost their opening against Miami, Ohio … winning by 24 despite being a complete no show in the first half and turning the ball over twice resulting in the Redhawks only points. Rutgers will be more competitive but catch a focused Iowa bunch here that generally takes car of business on their home field. |
09-07-19 | Ohio +4.5 v. Pittsburgh | 10-20 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 30 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Early Bird winner is on the Ohio Bobcats Pitt was absolutely awful last week in getting dominated on this field by Virginia. The Panthers will have their work cut out for them against Ohio's veteran Sr. quarterback Rourke and a senior laden secondary that will make it difficult to throw. Solich is 11-4 in L15 as a dog and has a real chance to take a Power Five scalp here. |
09-06-19 | Marshall +12 v. Boise State | 7-14 | Win | 100 | 33 h 6 m | Show
DMack's Marshall/Boise Friday NCAAF Super Play is Marshall Call it a "trap" game or whatever you want, this is not the best of spots for the Broncos home opener. Granted, win at Florida State was big for the program and the new freshman QB but they face a very experienced Marshall team that is supremely coached by Doc Holiday. The Herd crushed a tomato can in its opener and 11-4-1 L16 as a road dog. Boise on the other hand starts new era but 16-34 ATS run on the Blue Turf is long term and can't be ignored. Neither can 12 points with a VERY live dog. |
09-05-19 | Packers v. Bears UNDER 47 | 10-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 58 m | Show
DMack's NFL Thursday Night Thunder is on the Packers/Bears Under The Bears ended last year on a big roll and have been tough to beat here thanks to an elite defense. Not sure about Nagy's handling of Trubisky who plays here without an August snap. Same for Rodgers who is reportedly buying into LeFleur's new system but also didn't take a snap in NFLX play and finds the gauntlet in this latest edition of the "Monsters of the Midway". Expecting both teams to make concentrated efforts to move the ball on the ground and to avoid all so costly turnovers. Looks like a 23-16, 21-17, 20-16 slobber knocker to us. Play the under. |
09-02-19 | Notre Dame v. Louisville OVER 54 | 35-17 | Loss | -110 | 32 h 35 m | Show
DMack's Notre Dame/Louisville NCAAF Monday Night Magic is on the Over The Cardinals are a once proud program coming off two doses of Bobby Petrino and off a 2-10 record last year. They return 10 players from a defense that allowed better than 44 ppg. and it's been my experience, leopards don't change their spots. If anything, looking for the Irish offense and QB Book to be significantly better with a year under his belt. Notre Dame won't have to do much heavy lifting to get their 40 here. Louisville will be improved enough to pick up the rest and send this total over by a comfortable margin. |
09-01-19 | Houston v. Oklahoma UNDER 83 | 31-49 | Win | 100 | 121 h 29 m | Show
NCAAF Super Total on Houston/Oklahoma Under Ex-Oklahoma State assistant and more recently West Virginia HC Dana Holgersen takes over a Houston team that consistently underachieved with Major Applewhite. He'll inherit an offensive line with 100+ starts but was 0-6 vs. the Sooners while at Morgantown. The Cougars have just four defensive starters back to face the new Jalen Hurts era. Oklahoma was hit hard by graduation and will still have quality people but … feeling is that this will be a feeling out game for both teams with Houston trying to establish the run and shorten the games while Oklhoma will lack the quick strike capabilities they had with Baker and Kyler Murray. 83 points is a ton of points and a lot to ask for given the current state of both teams. Play the under. |
08-31-19 | Weber State v. San Diego State -7 | 0-6 | Loss | -186 | 10 h 54 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Bail Out Special is on the San Diego State Aztecs Weber State is very good team out of the Big Sky and that is evidenced here in the respect the Wildcats are garnering in the line. That said, San Diego State is a tough draw with its unorthodox defense and super savvy coach Rocky Long. SDSU will also have the game breaker on the field with the latest of their long line of excellent backs as you can figure to see Juwan Washington early and often. He's not big but fast and powerful and can run inside or out. Like the Mountain West team to establish dominance up front and grind out a 24-10 type of win. |
08-31-19 | Miami-OH v. Iowa -21.5 | 14-38 | Win | 100 | 9 h 29 m | Show
DMack Week I Saturday NCAAF Bonus Play is on the Iowa Hawkeyes This is a late edition for me as the Iowa Hawkeyes are a team that in many ways is a mirror image of the Wisconsin team we saw crush South Florida on the road. Both teams are young and green but the Hawkeyes ALWAYS play defense and do return the 3rd Team all-Big Ten QB and their top three RBs from last year. Iowa establishes the ground and pound early and then extends late with a relentless last 30 minutes. |
08-31-19 | Virginia -130 v. Pittsburgh | 30-14 | Win | 100 | 9 h 58 m | Show
DMack's Saturday NCAAF Week I Money-line special is on the Virginia Cavaliers This is without question, Bronco Mendenhall's biggest game as the HC of the Virginia Cavaliers. This is his best team that he's had and they'll open against a team that has won the last four meetings but returns just 11 starters and looks to be in rebuilding mode. Missed the boat with the number by not grabbing the Cavs early in game with UVa getting points at the outset but will instead just call for them to win a game that is now hovering near a field goal. |
08-31-19 | South Carolina -10.5 v. North Carolina | 20-24 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 26 m | Show
DMack NCAAF Saturday Week I Super Play is on the South Carolina Gamecocks There is no recent history between these two as this is the first meeting since 2015. Mack Brown tries to resurrect the old magic for the Tar Heels but inherits a two-win team with not much talent or confidence. This is a put up or shut up year for Muschamps who starts a senior QB with 32 starts behind an offensive line with a lot of experience. This is a neutral field game in Charlotte and the Gamecocks should be well represented and have no excuses here. |
08-30-19 | Wisconsin -10.5 v. South Florida | 49-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 44 m | Show
DMack's Wisconsin/South Florida Friday Night Feature is on the Wisconsin Badgers I love when proven commodities get overlooked and pretty much have no expectations coming in. The Badgers were hit hard by graduation and do not have their usual compliment of returnees but they will pay strong defense and they will have some very big boys up front to impose their will and power ground game. South Florida was somewhat counterfeit last year and while the Bulls beat up the teams that they should, they rarely compete. Wisky is 11-3 as a road favorite under Chryst and we fully expect the Badgers to push around the hosts here and that has been reflected to this point in the line. |
08-30-19 | Rice v. Army -21.5 | 7-14 | Loss | -103 | 72 h 48 m | Show
NCAAF Super Play is on the Army Cadets This might very well be the best play on Friday and it wins early. The Cadets returning seven offensive starters from last years 11 win team including a quarterback that can run and throw. Rice will be looking to replace the key components of last years two-win team and the Owls are arguably bottom five of this year's D-I board teams. These teams met two year's ago with Army leading 35-0 at the half of a 49-12 spanking. The Cadets have shown no compunction in running up the score in recent editions and we can expect more of the same here. |
08-29-19 | Utah -6 v. BYU | 30-12 | Win | 100 | 11 h 49 m | Show
DMack's Thursday College Football Play of the Day is on the Utah Utes The "Holy War" kicks off the 2019 schedule for Utah and BYU. The Utes have won the last three editions by a combined 15 points and this game is always played tough and an important in-state recruiting tool for the winner. The Utes are getting lots of preseason love from the pundits with their 14 returning starters, 7 on each side, and a QB with 19 starts who will have the luxury of handing off to a stud RB and experienced offensive line. The Cougars have 17 starters back but the disparity in talent is significant and home dog (0-3-1) has not been the best of spots under Sitake. |
08-24-19 | Florida -7 v. Miami-FL | 24-20 | Loss | -105 | 32 h 52 m | Show
DMack's 2019 NCAAF First Blood is on the Florida Gators A huge game for Florida off the git go as they face the gauntlet (Kentucky, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU) in their next four games that games (with all due respect to Towson) that matter. Franks is the real deal at QB for the Gators but he'll have to guide his young offensive line against a pretty good Cane defense. A true frosh won the QB job in South Beach giving the impression that Diaz has a bigger job than met the eye. The Florida defense in elite, top 10 in fact, and the spot is where Gator coach Dan Mullin has made his bones throughout his career. Florida 24-10. |
02-03-19 | Patriots v. Rams UNDER 56 | 13-3 | Win | 100 | 129 h 39 m | Show
DMack's Patriots/Rams Super Bowl 53 Super Play is on the Under SUBSCRIBER ALERT .... PLEASE DISREGARD THIS PLAY! Obviously, that I found a 56 out there I wanted to play the OVER and posted incorrectly. On this platform, you can not change your picks. This is on me and I take full responsibility for the mistake. Check my post on the side and on Saturday I will add five additional bonus props for your inconvenience. |
02-03-19 | Patriots -130 v. Rams | 13-3 | Win | 100 | 62 h 37 m | Show
Mack Attack Super Bowl 53 Super Play is on the New England Patriots This will be the ninth time in 18 games that the Patriots are here so they have to be doing something right. The Pats face a a Rams team that has made a storybook turnaround under McVay but was life and death to advance to this game and has a team that won't let them off the hook once they get them down. While the consensus seems to think that New England will establish the run to get the passing game going, I'm thinking the opposite. Gronk and Edelman have the best catch/receiving numbers in the history of this came and when it came to crunch time in Kansas City, that's where Brady went. This will set up equally dependables Chris Hogan and James White to do there thing as the Pats move the ball at will. Brady has been hit just three times in 90 dropbacks and if allowed to do what he wants, will pick the Rams apart. On the other side, the Pats take away something in every game. Here it's the two-headed Ram running attack as they force Goff to beat them. He can't and wont! Pats 45 Rams 27. Bonus Props ... all available at The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas In no particular order Longest Field Goal Over 46.5 yards: Take YES -130 Total Number of Sacks in the Game 3.5: Take No +120 Chris Hogan Total Receptions 3.5: Take OVER +105 Will the Opening Kickoff Result in a Touchback: Take NO +110 Which Team Commits the First Penalty: Take Rams -125 Will There Be a Defensive or Special Teams Touchdown: Take No -250 Good luck to all |
01-20-19 | Patriots v. Chiefs -3 | Top | 37-31 | Loss | -109 | 66 h 37 m | Show |
Mack Attack AFC Championship Game Super Play is on the Kansas City Chiefs This is the eighth straight AFC championship game for the Patriots who have gone 4-3 in the last seven. New England has lost their last three championship games on the road and has not claimed an AFC title outside of Foxboro in 14 years. This year, the Pats have lost five times and the road and have been unable to run the football in those games. The Chiefs are the first team in NFL history to score at least 26 points in every game and regardless of the weather, have plenty of weapons to solve the Pats. The Kansas City defense was brilliant for the first time all year in bottling up Andrew Luck last week and have no excuse to not pressure Brady here. This is the first time in 70 games that the "Goat" enters a game as an underdog and their is not much that he'll be able to do about it. Kansas City 33-24. |
01-13-19 | Eagles +9.5 v. Saints | 14-20 | Win | 100 | 50 h 2 m | Show
DMack's Eagles/Saints NFC Division Round Super Play is on the Philadelphia Eagles  The general consensus on this line in Vegas is 8 but the number is all over the place and as high as +9.5 in some far away places so you will need to shop as always. The Saints buried the Eagles 48-7 back in Week 11, outgaining the Eagles 546-196. New Orleans has not been the same since while Philadelphia has basically played three straight playoff games with Nick Foles to get to this point. The Saint offense is sputtering and will be facing a salty Eagle defense that still has the November beat down fresh is their minds. Can't not this that Foles can't trade points here to keep this within double-digits. Take the points. |
01-12-19 | Colts v. Chiefs OVER 56.5 | Top | 13-31 | Loss | -110 | 26 h 47 m | Show |
DMack NFL Playoff Total of the Year is on the Colts/Chiefs Over Just can't imagine this one being anything other than a shootout between Andrew Luck and Patrick Mahomes. The Chief defense has been bottom three all year, most of the time, dead last. Kansas City does not get much pressure on the quarterback which is what you need to beat the Colts. By the same token, Mahomes has so many weapons, he'll do his damage somewhere. The Chiefs figure to dictate pace at home and five of their last six have flown over the total. Cold and possible precipitation in Kansas City will not be a factor as both teams just do what they do. Play OVER the total. |
01-07-19 | Alabama v. Clemson OVER 59 | 16-44 | Win | 100 | 82 h 56 m | Show
DMack's Bama/Clemson National Championship Super Play is on the OVER |
01-06-19 | Eagles v. Bears OVER 41.5 | 16-15 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 10 m | Show
Mack Attack Eagles/Bears Wildcard Total of the Year is on the Over There won't be any secrets between these two head coaches who worked together seven years under Andy Reid. The Bears have won 9 of 10 but still haven't made a believer out of us. The Bears lone loss was to the Pats, 38-31 and we'll see that same type of play here out of the defending champion Eagles who are playing with house money and should be free and easy. Our thinking that Foles will get at least 400 yard in the air and three scores, the point being that that regarding points ... Philadelphia will hold up its end of the bargain and the winner is unimportant. Philly dictates pace here and this one flies over a pedestrian total. |
01-06-19 | Chargers +3 v. Ravens | 23-17 | Win | 100 | 51 h 9 m | Show
DMack's AFC Wildcard Super Play is on the Los Angeles Chargers The Ravens easily handled the Chargers a couple of weeks ago with the defense strangling Phillip Rivers and the Bolt offense, limiting them to no play longer than 17 yards. The games was at the band box in Los Angeles and the Chargers were dealing with a number of injuries including stud back Melvin Gordon. The Chargers are 7-1 on the road this year, will be one of the few road teams that travels well consistently and faces a rookie quarterback in his first playoff game. Rivers stunk up the joint last month but is 5-1 ATS in his career as a playoff road dog. A completely different Bolt team here wins straight up. Call it 23-14. |
01-05-19 | Seahawks +2.5 v. Cowboys | 22-24 | Win | 100 | 34 h 20 m | Show
DMack's Seahawks/Cowboys Super Play is on the Seattle Seahawks The Seahawks already beat Dallas this year albeit in Week Three. Both teams will try and pound the ball on the ground so it will come down to who can impose their will on the other, who can make a play, and coaching which is all Seattle by a big margin. Jason Garrett is a 1-8 proposition in his career as a home favorite of three or less while Pete Carroll has NEVER lost in this round. Need to make a play ??? Who do YOU want ??? Dak or Russell Wilson ??? Gimme Pete, Russell, and the visitors here. Seattle 23-10. |
01-05-19 | Colts +2 v. Texans | 21-7 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show
Mack Attack Colts/Texans Super Play is on the Indianapolis Colts The road team won both meetings between these division rivals during the year, each game decided by a field goal. Not standing in front of Andrew Luck and the Colts who are 9-4 L13 in the series and have won 5 of the L6 visits here. Luck has thrown for 800+ yards and in two games vs. the Texans this year, has a running game, was sacked just 18 times all year, and fall back on a running game. This is DeShaun Watson's first playoff game and while the Texan defense has Watt and Clowney, the overall pass defense is pretty poor. TY Hilton kills Houston, getting 100 yards rec in four the last five meetings. |
01-01-19 | Washington v. Ohio State -6.5 | Top | 23-28 | Loss | -106 | 31 h 30 m | Show |
Mack Attack Rose Bowl Super Play is on the Ohio State Buckeyes Can't think of one edge to Washington in this one against a Buckeye team that is reportedly stoked to be here and saying goodbye to Urban Meyer. Washington came into the year with National Championship aspirations that went right out the window with a bad loss at Auburn. He Huskies never recovered and face the nation's No.2 offense here, one that could drop 50 on the Pac-12 champ. Ohio State rolls here in Meyer's send off, let's cal it 45-17. |
01-01-19 | Kentucky +7 v. Penn State | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 26 h 17 m | Show
DMack's 2018-2019 Bowl Season Upset Shocker is on the Kentucky Wildcats Penn State is another team that has to be considered a disappointment this year after putting themselves in a position to make waves early on. McSorely will want o finish a pretty good career on a high note but who's with him ??? Kentucky had an epic year for Stoops and can really establish UK as a program on the come here with a win. The Cats can grind it out on the ground and play ball control to not only keep this one within the touchdown but to also give the Wildcats a chance to win outright. Kentucky 30-28. |
12-31-18 | Michigan State v. Oregon -1.5 | 6-7 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 3 m | Show
DMack's Red Box Bowl Super Play is on the Oregon Ducks Last week, Oregon got the good news that QB Justin Herbert was coming back to school. Back in October, he was the first QB coming off the Big Board but a shoulder injury slowed him in the second half and the Ducks barely managed to finish 8-4. Michigan State was a huge disappointment with 19 starters back yet the Spartans were barely able to beat Rutgers 14-10 in their last game after trailing the entire way. The Quack Attack stops a three game bowl losing streak with a win here. |
12-31-18 | Pittsburgh v. Stanford -4 | Top | 13-14 | Loss | -103 | 4 h 36 m | Show |
Mack Attack Sun Belt Super Play is on the Stanford Cardinal This has been a hugely disappointing year for David Shaw and The Tree. Bryce love has been hurt all year and cost himself millions. Injuries have sure played a big part but this was not vintage Stanford by any means. The Cardinal finished up strong with three wins down the stretch and a month plus to get healthy and to prepare here. Pitt lost final two games by a 66-13 aggregate and has to be wondering what they are doing getting pushed around at the Mexican border. Stanford wire-to-wire, 35-10. |
12-30-18 | Colts -3 v. Titans | 33-17 | Win | 100 | 34 h 23 m | Show
DMack's Colts/Titans SNF Win or Go Home is on the Indianapolis Colts This is as a good as it gets with the winner going to the playoffs and the loser preparing for the draft. The Colts are 17-3 L20 in the series and pounded the Titans 38-10 at Lucas Oil in the first go around. Mariota not 100% and Indy winners of eight of nine. How about this nugget if you like angles ... Tennessee is 0-20 ATS in their L20 games vs. an opponent that allowed 375 yards+ (Colts 392 last week) in it's prior game. Reasonable and straight forward. Lay the FG. |
12-30-18 | Bears v. Vikings UNDER 41 | 24-10 | Win | 100 | 102 h 21 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play on the Bears/Vikings Under |
12-30-18 | Dolphins v. Bills -3 | 17-42 | Win | 100 | 122 h 52 m | Show
DMack is on the Buffalo Bills |
12-30-18 | Falcons +1.5 v. Bucs | 34-32 | Win | 100 | 122 h 51 m | Show
DMack is on the Atlanta Falcons |
12-30-18 | Lions v. Packers -7.5 | 31-0 | Loss | -105 | 99 h 56 m | Show
DMack Power Pack Play on the Green Bay Packers |
12-29-18 | Oklahoma v. Alabama UNDER 79 | 34-45 | Push | 0 | 18 h 46 m | Show
Mack Attack Oklahoma/Alabama Super Play is on the UNDER Bama took a hit to it's offensive line via suspension but doubt that will make a difference in the Tide running the ball at will against an outmanned Sooner defense. Likewise for Oklahoma who will need to establish the run and play defense on offense by running the clock and making sure the OU defense has plenty of time to rest. The Sooner goal is to stay close until late and their best chance of doing that is running the ball and burning clock. We put Oklahoma in the 20s at best making the Over almost impossible to reach and the Under the way to cash a ticket in this game. |
12-29-18 | Notre Dame +14 v. Clemson | 3-30 | Loss | -134 | 28 h 14 m | Show
DMack's 2018 College Football Bowl Lock of the Year is on Notre Dame. Clemson is good but it was not overpowering in a very down year for the ACC. Notre Dame does everything that gives the Tigers fits. The Irish have a big and physical offensive line and can run the ball. Notre Dame's front seven are the best part of the Irish defense and that will be demonstrated here. In the modern era of college football, just five times has an undefeated team been a dog of a touchdown or more in a bowl. The Dog went 5-0 SU and ATS in those five games. You will need to shop but as you can see, there are 14's out there. |
12-28-18 | Syracuse -1 v. West Virginia | 34-18 | Win | 100 | 29 h 4 m | Show
Mack Attack Pinstripe Bowl Super Play is on the Syracuse Orangemen As we've seen especially in the last couple of days, motivation is key to playing many of these meaningless bowl games. Syracuse was hammered on this field by Notre Dame about a month ago but it is their only loss in a 5-1 SU and ATS run down the stretch. West Virginia lost their last two in games that REALLY counted allowing slightly less than 300 yards per game (570) on the ground while trying to trade points with Grier at the controls. Today a backup that threw 10 passes this year takes over. This is Syracuse first bowl in five years when they beat WVU in this game 38-14 (+4) in 2013. Repeat performance here. |

DMack's Music City Super Play is on the Auburn Tigers |

12-27-18 | Vanderbilt -4 v. Baylor | 38-45 | Loss | -111 | 11 h 33 m | Show
DMack's Vandy/Baylor Texas Bowl Super Play is on the Vanderbilt Commodores Baylor is a nice story going from the Art Briles fiasco and one win last year to 6-6 and a bowl game this year BUT ... this game means so much more to a Vandy program looking for it's first winning season and bowl win since 2013. The Dores had to win three of their final four to get bowl eligible and that was against SEC competition as opposed to Baylor who was a bottom half team in a down year for the Big 12. No doubt that Baylor is a team to watch in the future but today belongs to Vandy who don't get many chances to shine like this with four-year starter Kyle Shurmer (yes, those Shurmers) the key. |

12-27-18 | Duke v. Temple -3.5 | 56-27 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 19 m | Show
Mack Attack Independence Bowl Super Play is on the Temple Owls It seems to be a reoccurring theme for Temple over the past decade to see their football program get good and watch their coach bolt for a better job. This year's defection went to Georgia Tech who perhaps was bit by bad karma while getting blown out last night. Temple is a few defensive players away from being VERY VERY good. This team should have beaten UCF handily and the Owl Offense should do all kinds of business (like 40+ points worth) against a very suspect Duke stop unit. Not the least bit concerned about the hook here ... Temple 45-23. |

12-26-18 | Minnesota v. Georgia Tech -5.5 | 34-10 | Loss | -100 | 31 h 45 m | Show
Mack Attack Quick Lane Bowl Super Play is on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Long time option coach Paul Johnson steps away after this game and none of his staff was retained by the new regime. That said, expect a big big effort from current Jackets who won four of their last five with the loss to Georgia. Minnesota is is 5-0 when they allow 15 or less points, 1-6 when they allow more. The Gophers allowed 300+ rushing yards in three games and face an option attack here of the same quality as Army and Navy. PJ Flech is making progress but this is a case of better team that has faced better, with better scheme, and plenty of motivation. G Tech by two touchdowns. |

12-24-18 | Broncos v. Raiders +3 | 14-27 | Win | 100 | 11 h 42 m | Show
DMack's Monday Night Magic is on the Oakland Raiders This is VERY VERY likely the Raiders final game in Oakland. The city has filed suit against the team for leaving and the Raiders could be playing anywhere in 2019 until they move into their new digs in Las Vegas in 2020. The 3-11 Raiders and Arizona are battling for the top draft pick but Oakland has multiple No.1's and a final win at home in their final game against a division opponent they hate would probably be far more meaningful to the franchise than a laydown loss to a (again) division opponent, with a lame duck coach, and team that has nothing to play for. The Broncos have scored just 14 and 16 points their last two games and lost their last two visits here. Thinking that the Raiders will do all they can to win here for whatever it will mean to their legacy. Raiders 23-17. |
12-23-18 | Bears v. 49ers +5 | 14-9 | Push | 0 | 7 h 26 m | Show
DMack's Week 16 Upset Shocker is on the San Francisco 49ers The Bears are a strange animal and with the division locked up and little chance of an opening bye, it will be interesting to see their effort on the road in this spot. The 49ers are breaking hearts in December just like they did last year with Jimmy G. Mullens has shown to be a capable backup QB and the 49ers issue all of this year has been the INABILITY of creating turnovers. Thinking the home offense is going to be able to do some damage here and keep this within a kick or win straight up. Take the very live home dog here. |

12-23-18 | Falcons -2.5 v. Panthers | 24-10 | Win | 100 | 5 h 33 m | Show
DMack's Week 16 NFL Road Warrior is on the Atlanta Falcons Carolina has lost six straight (1-5 ATS) and has pretty much thrown in the towel by shutting down Cam Newton. Heinecke (Old Dominion) gets the start here against a Falcon defense off it's best performance of the year albeit against Arizona. The Falcons won 31-24 at home in Week Two. Both teams so decimated at this point the home and away is pretty much a non-factor. Atlanta has won five of the last six series games and with Matty Ice at the controls, the visitor is the better option. Take Atlanta. |
12-23-18 | Vikings -6 v. Lions | 27-9 | Win | 100 | 4 h 27 m | Show
DMack's Week 16 NFL Lock of the Week is on the Minnesota Vikings The Vikings are hanging on to that last wildcard spot and will likely need to win out to see January. The Vikes have lost three straight road games coring just two TDs in 21 drives in their last two. New offensive coordinator ran the ball down Miami's throat last week in his debut and expect to see repeat here with Vike ground attack 40-180 and Cousins picking his spots. The Lions are 2-6 L8 and have not scored more than 17 points in four straight games. Toast. Vikings 31-10. |
12-22-18 | Houston v. Army -5 | 14-70 | Win | 100 | 29 h 38 m | Show
DMack's Armed Forces Bowl Super Play is on the Army Cadets Can't see much motivation here for a Houston team that lost three of it' final four games (all key) and will be without QB King (injury) and stud DL Oliver who will be prepping for the NFL. Army is having a monster season thanks to its power ground game and stingy defense. The Cadets haven't lost since September (Oklahoma in OT) and batter people with the option and relentless time of possession. Houston was shredded for 344 when they played Navy so this doesn't appear to be a great matchup for for the Coogs. Army 26-10. |
12-22-18 | Wake Forest +3.5 v. Memphis | 37-34 | Win | 100 | 25 h 0 m | Show
Mack Attack Birmingham Bowl Book Buster is on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Wake is reportedly extremely excited to be here and they earned it playing well down the stretch. The Deacs have won their last two bowls and scored 50+ points in four of their six wins. Memphis won four of five after 4-4 start and can't be excited to be playing here. Wake is 11-4-1 L16 as a dog and fits a 42-22 ATS system involving 5-6 and 4-6 teams that win their last games to get bowl eligible or get invite. Wake has also faced so much better and gets straight up call here. |
12-21-18 | Florida International +7.5 v. Toledo | 35-32 | Win | 100 | 24 h 12 m | Show
DMack's Bahama Bowl Super Play is on the FIU Panthers This bowl picture changed drastically when it was announced that FIU QB Morgan would be out with an injury to his throwing arm. Weather also figures to be a factor in this game which is why the total is plummeting. At the end of the day, the Panthers need to run the ball and play defense. Toledo was blanked 34-0 by App State last year in a bowl and the Rockets have a history of not always showing up for every game. Catching the hook and a FG more than we should be ... grab the points. |
12-20-18 | Marshall -3.5 v. South Florida | 38-20 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show
Mack Attack Gasparilla Bowl Super Play is on the Marshall Thundering Herd South Florida quit a long time ago on Charlie Strong, losing their last five games after a 7-0 start. The Bulls not only lost but lost all five by double-digits. The Thundering Herd have one of college football's best unknown coaches in Doc Holliday who always has his teams ready for bowl games. Marshall has won their last six bowls and has a huge edge in the running game with a big physical offensive line. Thinking we will pretty much see here the same thing we saw last night when Ohio ran roughshod over San Diego State. Lay the points. |
