Cappers Sports Picks - The Experts

2-Unit Play: Take #943 Milwaukee over San Diego (10 p.m., Wednesday, October 7 FS1)

It ends tonight! Look for the Brewers to finish the job and advance to the NLCS for the second straight year. San Diego emptied the tank to hold on for last night’s victory and could still be without some key pieces tonight. The Padres have struggled to build on success, and I expect Milwaukee to take control and close out the series.

2 Unit Play. Take #935 Milwaukee over San Diego (9:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 6, FS1). The Brewers are looking to sweep the Padres and advance to the NLCS for the second straight year. I expect Milwaukee’s offense to deliver a strong performance and build an early lead, putting the pressure squarely on San Diego. The Padres need to win both home games to stay alive, and an early deficit could be tough to overcome. Milwaukee also has a strong bullpen to protect a lead. Even if this stays close, I trust the Brewers to finish the job.

2 Unit Play. Take #931 New York over Tampa Bay (8:07 p.m., Monday, October 5, TBS)
The Yankees face a must-win road game tonight. They cannot afford to fall behind 0-2 in this best-of-five series, especially with Cam Schlittler not available again until Game 5. New York pitched well in the opener, and another one-run effort should put them in position to even the series. Schlittler has been outstanding this season, posting a 14-6 record with a 1.95 ERA and 0.92 WHIP. We expect Tampa Bay to struggle against him and will back the Yankees at a short price with their path to the ALCS on the line.

8-Unit Play: Take #926 Milwaukee -135 over San Diego (4 p.m., Sunday, October 2, FS1) MLB PLAYOFF GAME OF THE YEAR

The Brewers showed some rust on Saturday but still found a way to grind out a victory. I expect Milwaukee to build on that win and take a 2-0 lead in this series.

Logan Henderson gets the ball after a strong season, finishing 11-3 with a 2.47 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP. I expect a big outing from him in front of the home crowd. San Diego counters with Michael King, who pitched well against the Cubs in the Wild Card round but struggled leading into that start. I look for Milwaukee to break through against him as this game progresses.

The bullpens should play an important role, and Milwaukee’s relief staff can match San Diego’s. Home-field advantage gives the Brewers the edge in what could be another tight game. Milwaukee has shown it can win in a variety of ways, and I don’t expect the Padres to collect another nine hits in this one. Take Milwaukee.

2 Unit Play. Take #919 New York over Tampa Bay (6:30p.m., Saturday, October 3 TBS) The Yankees pitched their way to success and got hitting up and down their lineup in the later innings. I look for that to carryover into Saturday when game one of the 2026 Divisional Round opens up at Tropicana Field. This was a very competitive season series going 7-6 to the Rays, but I still believe in Gerrit Cole. I don’t trust the Rays to hit a bunch of home runs and I feel the Yankees will grind out a victory in game one.

2 Unit Play. Take #906 New York over Boston (8:10 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, NBC) It ends tonight! Look for the Yankees to finish the job and advance to face the Tampa Bay Rays in the divisional round this weekend. Winning Game 1 has been crucial in these short series, with the opening-game winner taking 15 of the 16 wild card series. Max Fried has been outstanding down the stretch, allowing one run or fewer in seven of his last eight starts. That includes New York’s 9-2 victory over Boston on August 29. Sonny Gray, meanwhile, allowed three runs in two of his last three starts, and I’m not sold on his ability to deliver in this postseason spot. Boston’s lineup doesn’t scare me, and I expect Fried to come up big for the home team.

2-Unit Play: Take #944 San Diego over Chicago (10:10 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, Peacock). San Diego has the edge in this matchup, with the entire best-of-three series set for Petco Park. Michael King put together a strong season, posting a 3.21 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP, and I trust him more than the soft-tossing Matthew Boyd. Look for the Padres to break through against Boyd and give King enough support to take the crucial series opener.

7-Unit Play: Take #904 Washington +115 over New York (12:35 p.m., Saturday, September 26 | MLB.tv) Note the early start time. Play this game as action.

Connelly Early makes his first start for Washington since being traded from Boston, and the Nationals are expected to keep his outing short. Opposing him is Jonah Tong, who has allowed at least four earned runs in three of his last four starts.

Washington is aiming to finish the season with 88 wins and has added motivation after being swept by the Mets in their last series. I expect the Nationals to respond here. Their strong lineup holds the edge in the offensive numbers, making Washington an appealing choice at this underdog price.

2 Unit Play. Take #973 Houston over Seattle (10:10p.m., Wednesday, September 23 ESPN) We used the Astros last night at an underdog price and we will back them again on Wednesday. Houston is in a battle with Texas for the final playoff spot. Both teams need to win their division to get into the playoffs. Seattle has nothing to play for and thus I do not see them putting up much of a fight in this series. They got shutout last night by a score of 7-0.

2 Unit Play. Take #923 Houston over Seattle (9:40p.m., Tuesday, September 22 MLB.tv) The Astros are fighting for their playoff lives trailing the Ragers by a game in the standing and the White Sox by 3 in the wild card. They play one of the most disappointing teams in the league. I don’t expect the Mariners to go all out in this series and thus Houston gets a much-needed victory in the Pacific Northwest.

2 Unit Play. Take #920 Los Angeles over Minnesota (4:07p.m., Sunday, September 20 MLB.tv) The Halos are going for a series win on Sunday against the Twins. Anaheim has won 2 of 3 so far with both wins coming in extra innings. I see them winning this game more comfortably on Sunday behind Ryan Johnson.

2 Unit Play. Take #961 Over in Boston @ Tampa Bay (4:10p.m., Saturday, September 19 MLB.tv) This is a pitcher friendly park, but I do not have much confidence in either starting pitcher. Brayan Bello has a 4.74 E.R.A., he has pitched better of late but I do not see him dominating in this game.

7 Unit Play. Take #968 Los Angeles -105 over Minnesota (9:38p.m., Thursday, September 17 MLB.tv) The Twins head to Los Angeles off a marathon 13 inning game in Minneapolis on Wednesday afternoon. They blew through their bullpen, and I feel the Halos will take them down in the first of this four-game series. Minnesota will face the best the Angels have in Walbert Urena. He has a 2.88 E.R.A. on the year and a strong strikeout to walk ratio and has only allowed 9 home runs in 137+ innings. Taj Bradley has been pitching better of late, but I don’t see him being effective in this game. Los Angeles wins game behind strong pitching and clutch hitting.

2 Unit Play. Take #917 New York (-1.5 RL) +110 over Minnesota (1:40p.m., Wednesday, September 16 MLB.tv) This line has went up this morning and now the value lies with the run line. Minnesota has thrown in the towel on the season in 2026. They have been outscored 16-4 in the first two games, and I see this game following a similar path to those.

2 Unit Play. Take #971 New York (-1.5 RL) over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Tuesday, September 15 MLB.tv) The Twins have mailed it in on the season and the Yankees are still fighting for the No. 1 seed. Minnesota led 2-1 in the eighth inning last night and still lost 8-3. Now they face a better pitcher in Max Fried and I see the Yankees winning this game big. New York holds a 25-11 record against Minnesota in the last 36 games.

2 Unit Play. Take #615 New York over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Monday, September 14 MLB.tv) The Twins are reeling from the weekend series. Their best hitter and their best pitcher are injured (Buxton) or not performing well (Ryan). Dean Kramer has not been very good this season and the Twins have lost 4 of his last 5 starts. New York still has visions of winning the AL East and they need to win this series to keep that hope alive. The Yankees are 25-11 in their last 36 games against the Twins.

7 Unit Play. Take #967 Cleveland over Minnesota (8:10p.m., Friday, September 10 MLB.tv) The Guardians still have life in the AL Central and the No. 2 seed. In order to accomplish that they need to beat the teams below them in the standings. Minnesota has fallen apart of late and I do not see them getting out of this funk without Bryon Buxton. Parker Messick takes the mound for the Guardians, and he has been solid this season with a 2.53 E.R.A. and a 1.04 WHIP. Taj Bradley has been okay this season as well, but it seems like the Field of Dreams game got his out of whack and I see Cleveland getting to him at some point in this game. The Twins have not won many series of late and I do not see them winning game one tonight at Target Field.

2 Unit Play. Take #962 Detroit over Minnesota (1:10p.m., Wednesday, September 9 MLB.tv) This is the rubber game of this series and I see Detroit winning the day game finale. Both games have been decided by one run but the Tigers have the better pitcher on the mound this afternoon in Keider Montero. He got hit hard last time out by I expect him to bounce back in a big way on Wednesday. Detroit is getting their hitters back and Minnesota is still without Buxton. Neither team will be making the playoffs and thus I will side with the better pitcher on Wednesday.

2 Unit Play. Take #901 Milwaukee over Cincinnati (12:10p.m., Sunday, September 6 MLB.tv) I feel Kyle Harrison has something left in the tank and will bounce back in this game in a big way. The Reds are not any good and they were lucky to hold on for a victory yesterday. I see the Brewers winning this finale in a blowout and we will back the best team in baseball on Sunday.

3 Unit Play.  Take #972 Chicago -120 over Minnesota (7:10p.m., Saturday, September 5 MLB.tv) We will continue bet this low numbers fading Minnesota. We have done it most of the last week and expect another cash on Saturday. The Twins are not very good and the White Sox are fighting for a bye in the American League.

2 Unit Play. Take #920 Chicago -115 over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Friday, September 4 MLB.tv) These two teams met last weekend and I see Chicago winning again tonight for the third time in the last four games. Both starting pitchers pitched last weekend, and both their teams won during their start. Erick Fedde has allowed just two runs combined in his last 3 starts. Chicago improves their standing on Friday night.

7 Unit Play. Take #919 Detroit +100 over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Wednesday, September 2 MLB.tv) It is hard to sweep a divisional opponent, and I do not see the Twins completing this sweep on Wednesday night. The Tigers have the better starting pitcher on the mound in Drew Anderson. He has allowed 3 earned runs or less in all of his starts this season. He has been a tough luck loser of late, but he should receive plenty of run support against Dean Kremer. He has been hit hard of late allowing 11 earned runs in his last 3 starts with just under 15 innings of work. I just cannot see the Tigers getting to him at some point in this game. Getting the Tigers at an underdog price is too good to pass up.

3 Unit Play. Take #959 Over 7.5 in Philadelphia @ Arizona (9:40p.m., Tuesday, September 1 MLB.tv) Both teams have a bunch of chances on Monday to score and I see them cashing in on those chances on Tuesday. Eduardo Rodriguez has been strong of late, but I just do not believe he will be able to dominate this Phillies lineup. Lefties actually hit him better than righties. Philadelphia will counter with Jesus Luzardo and he has received strong run support of late. 42 combined runs have been scored in his last 4 starts and I see this total reaching double digits as well.

3 Unit Play. Take #913 Detroit +110 over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Monday, August 31 MLB.tv) Taj Bradley has been heading the wrong direction of late and his team is following suit. Minnesota won yesterday but they have lost 3 straight series and have fallen out of contention in the wild card race. The Twins have lost the game in 4 of the last 5 starts Bradley has made. Jackson Jobe has been better of late with back-to-back solid outings. Detroit can get even in the loss column with a win tonight with the Twins and I see that happening.

5 Unit Play. Take #965 Chicago over Minnesota (2:10p.m., Sunday, August 30 MLB.tv) We have used the White Sox in the first two games when they were underdogs and we will back them again on Sunday. Minnesota is really struggling at the moment and Chicago sees a path to the No. 2 seed in the American League. Jordan Hicks has been strong this season as an opener and the team has won 3 of his last 4 games in which he has appeared him. Zebby Matthews has given up 19 home runs this season in a pitcher friendly ballpark and I see Chicago completing the sweep of Minnesota on Sunday.

3 Unit Play. Take #915 Chicago over Minnesota (2:10p.m., Saturday, August 29 MLB.tv) Not sure why the Twins are continued to be favored in these games against the best team in the AL Central. Minnesota has taken a noise dive of late, and I do not see them getting out of this funk anytime soon.

3 Unit Play. Take #967 Chicago +115 over Minnesota (8:10p.m., Friday, August 28 MLB.tv) Chicago is a better all-around team compared to Minnesota, and I see them putting them out of the Wild Card race with by winning this series in the Twin Cities. Chicago leads the season series and neither starting pitcher is that good. The Twins have some injury issues  and the White Sox can see that a postseason bye is in place.

5 Unit Play. Take #903 Milwaukee (-1.5 RL) over New York (7:10p.m., Thursday, August 27 MLB.tv) The Brewers flexed their muscles last night and I see them taking the rubber game of this series. The Miz is on the mound has his numbers dwarf his counterpart in Sean Manaea. He will leave this game with a big lead, and the Brewers have a strong bullpen that is rested for this game.

4 Unit Play. Take #955 Over 8.5 in Pittsburgh @ San Diego +100 (4:10p.m., Wednesday, August 26 MLB.tv) We will do a lay of averages play on Wednesday and feel one of these games will go over the posted number. San Diego needs to get their offense going as they have scored just 2 runs in 21 innings in this game. Neither pitcher is very good and thus I expect at least one of them to get hit hard in this game.

7 Unit Play. Take #910 San Diego over Pittsburgh (9:40p.m., Tuesday, August 25 MLB.tv) This is game two of this series taking place at Petco Park. It is a strong pitching matchup and basically a pick’em game. Paul Skenes has not been as strong in 2026 with decreased velocity. The Pirates have lost 4 of his last 5 starts and he had a 4.40 E.R.A. during the month of August. Michael King has been strong at home with a 3.21 E.R.A. allowing just 57 hits in just over 75 innings of work. He will be successful against this lineup if he can keep the ball inside the park. San Diego is holding the final wild card spot and they cannot afford to drop the first two games of this series at home with Arizona on their heels.

2 Unit Play. Take #966 Athletics over Minnesota (9:40p.m., Monday, August 24 MLB.tv) The Twins should not be this big of a favorite against anyone on the road. Minnesota lost 3 straight games to the Padres and were not competitive on Sunday. Neither starting pitcher is very good and I expect Sacramento to get into the win column tonight.

2 Unit Play. Take #928 San Diego -135 over Minnesota (4:10p.m., Sunday, August 23 MLB.tv) The Twins are going for their third straight sweep in a series with two of them being bad. Minnesota blew a big lead last night and I do not believe that they can recover from that. The Padres are in a battle for the final Wild Card spot in the National League and they need to take care of business against the bad teams at home.

2 Unit Play. Take #980 Take San Diego -135 over Minnesota (8:40p.m., Saturday, August 22 MLB.tv) The Twins got swept by the Phillies, then swept the Braves. I think there is a good chance they get swept in this series tonight and we will back the Padres for a second straight night. San Diego has the better starting pitcher tonight and they are 38-26 at home. Minnesota is 28-35 on the road.

2 Unit Play. Take #928 San Diego -115 over Minnesota (9:40p.m., Friday, August 21 MLB.tv) We will back the Padres tonight at home as both teams try and stay in the wild card race. Randy Vazquez has better numbers than Connor Prielipp and I do not trust the Twins on the road. Minnesota is 28-34 on the road and San Diego is 37-26 at home.

3 Unit Play. Take #966 Milwaukee -125 over Seattle (2:10p.m., Thursday, August 20 MLB.tv) It is just hard to beat the Brewers in a series at home. I expect the Crew to come out on top in this rubber game behind Bob Gasser. He has a better WHIP than George Kirby. Seattle did everything right last time, scoring a bunch of runs early and still barely won despite a 7-0 lead. Milwaukee wins this game on Thursday afternoon.

7 Unit Play. Take #907 Los Angeles (-1.5 RL) -130 over Colorado (8:40p.m., Wednesday, August 19 MLB.tv) The Rockies have a decent pitcher on the mound and thus we are getting value backing the much better team on Wednesday night. This is a get-well series for the Dodgers, as they are going for the sweep having outscored the Rockies 18-11 through two games. Los Angeles has beaten Colorado in 9 of the 12 games this season and Colorado is without their all everything catcher in Hunter Goodman. The Dodgers are battling for a bye and top seed in the National League and need to beat the bad teams in the league. Expect them to win this game behind Roki Sasaki, who should give us a quality start.

2 Unit Play. Take #975 Atlanta over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Tuesday, August 18 MLB.tv) The Twins jumped on the Braves last night for 4 runs early and that was good enough to win. I think Atlanta will even up this series at one game apiece with a chance to win the series on Wednesday. Zebby Matthews has been hit hard of late giving up 13 combined runs in this last 3 starts and I see Atlanta getting to him early in this game.

6 Unit Play. Take #974 Houston -115 over Seattle (7:20p.m., Sunday, August 16 NBC) The Mariners have been in freefall losing 7 of their last 9 games. They have had success against Houston this season and thus we get a low number backing the home team on Sunday Night Baseball. Seattle is 25-37 on the road and they have to face Hunter Brown tonight. He is looking for his first win in the month of August and he is usually success if he keeps the ball inside the fence. Bryan Woo has not been the same pitcher this season and the Mariners have lost 3 of his last 4 starts. He allowed five earned runs in two of his last 4 starts and Seattle has just one win during that span. Houston has the rested bullpen and they will win this rubber game on Sunday.

4 Unit Play. Take #918 Tampa Bay -140 over Baltimore (6:10p.m., Saturday, August 15 MLB.tv) Just do not see the first-place Rays losing two straight games to the Orioles. Baltimore unloaded talent at the deadline and Tampa knows the importance of earning the No. 1 seed in the American League.

2 Unit Play. Take #951 St. Louis (+1.5 RL) over Chicago (2:20p.m., Friday, August 14 Apple TV+) We will side with the run line in this game as the total tells me the wind will benefit the pitchers in this game. This is a rivalry and the Cardinals would love to kill the Cubs chances of winning the NL Central. I never believe Clay Holmes can through a dominating game on the mound.

2 Unit Play. Take #905 Over 8.5 in Milwaukee @ Los Angeles (10:10p.m., Thursday, August 13 MLB.tv) The Brewers offense will come back to life in this game against this pitcher. Milwaukee will hit some home runs at the home run friendly park and I see this game going over the posted total.

7 Unit Play. Take #973 Texas over Los Angeles (10:10p.m., Wednesday, August 12 MLB.tv) No bet against the Halos is a bad bet! Texas has visions of making the playoffs and they do not want to drop a series to Los Angeles. The Rangers have been lucky to win on Monday, and they are due for a blowout win against one of the worst teams in the league. Neither starting pitcher is very good, but I trust the Texas roster much better than I do the Los Angeles roster. The Angeles are batting .191 as a team in their last 10 games and have been outscored by 18 runs. Los Angeles is 7-15 during the second half of the season. If Texas wants to hold onto the final wild card spot, these are the type of series that they must win.

2 Unit Play. Take #906 Atlanta over New York (7:15p.m., Tuesday, August 10 MLB.tv) The Mets jumped out early and hung on for the victory. Atlanta will even up this series at one game apiece, as they are vying for a bye in the National League.

2 Unit Play. Take #969 Over 7.5 in Kansas City @ Los Angeles (10:10p.m., Monday, August 10 MLB.tv) The Royals know Skubal inside and out and have had decent success against him at times during this career in Detroit. This is a low total for a home run friendly park and I see this game going over the posted total.

6 Unit Play. Take #922 Miami -140 over Los Angeles (1:40p.m., Sunday, August 9 MLB.tv) This is the rubber game of this series and Miami does not want to drop a series at home to the Angels. Ryan Gusto has better numbers on the season compared to Grayson Rodriguez. Marlins are a better hitting team that did not unload their players at the deadline. Los Angeles has lost 4 straight starts when Grayson Rodriguez is on the mound and he has given up 4 home runs in his last 3 starts.

2 Unit Play. Take #976 Milwaukee over Minnesota (7:10p.m., Saturday, August 8 MLB.tv) The Brewers lost game one, but we expect them to bounce back in a big way on Saturday. Robert Gasser has pitched well in his last 3 outings and I see him giving the Brewers a quality start against this lineup from the Twins.

3 Unit Play. Take #966 Kansas City -120 over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Thursday, August 6 MLB.tv) The Royals are going for the sweep of the Twins. Minnesota has been lifeless in this series, and they have lost 4 straight games. KC has Bobby Witt back and Minnesota is still without Byron Buxton.

2 Unit Play. Take #918 Kansas City over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Wednesday, August 5 MLB.tv) Minnesota has lost 3 straight games including two walk off wins against them. Not having Byron Buxton is starting to take its toll on them and they will drop the first two games of their series to the Royals on Wednesday. Not sure Dean Kremer is the answer to get them back on track, he has given up 16 earned runs in his last 3 combined starts for Baltimore.

7 Unit Play. Take #964 Boston -130 over Chicago (7:10p.m., Tuesday, August 4 MLB.tv) We will back Patrick Sandoval in this game, as he has pitched well in his four starts. That includes 4.1 innings against the White Sox on 7/9 allowing just one earned run. Davis Martin has been hit hard in his last two starts giving up earned runs in just 11 innings of work. He has not won a game since June 10. He gave up five runs in four innings facing the Red Sox back in July. Just cannot ignore how well Boston is playing at the moment with a 23-3 record in their last 26 games including a sweep of the Dodgers in Tinseltown over the weekend. Boston is 3-0 against Chicago this season.

2 Unit Play. Take #904 Milwaukee over Pittsburgh (7:40p.m., Monday, August 3 MLB.tv) The Brewers got swept by the Pirates before the All-Star break and I expect them to return the favor on Monday. Milwaukee just finished a long road trip and they will be happy to be back at home. Both pitchers have been hit hard this season at times, but Milwaukee is 36-20 at home and Pittsburgh is 27-29 away from PNC Park. We will lay the price with the better all-around team on Monday.

2 Unit Play. Take #973 Over 6.5 in New York @ Chicago (2:20p.m., Sunday, August 2 MLB.tv) Neither pitcher has been lights out this season and thus I expect some runs to be scored in this game. Both teams have home run hitters and this is a low total. The wind will not be a huge factor and thus I see at least one pitcher getting hit for multiple runs in this rubber game.

2 Unit Play. Take #905 Over 9.5 in Washington @ Atlanta (7:15p.m., Saturday, August 1MLB.tv) I expect this game to hit on the over. The Nationals have been a high scoring team all season long and their starting pitcher tonight is not very good. Washington has fallen below .500 and needs to get back to winning games and they do that by outscoring their opponents in high scoring games.

7 Unit Play. Take #968 Chicago over New York (2:20p.m., Friday, July 31 MLB.tv) The Yankees just do not have a strong major league lineup now. Missing Judge, Bellinger, and Staton are too much for them to overcome in this game. They struggled in the last two games against the White Sox scoring just two ghost runner runs in their last 22 innings of action. Now they face a strong Cubs lineup and a strong starting pitcher in Shota Iwanaga. He will give up some hits, but he has allowed 2 runs over fewer in his last 5 starts. He should overpower this Yankee lineup, and we will lay the juice on Friday. The Cubs still have hope of catching the Brewers and these are the types of games they need to win. Lay the juice with the home team Friday.

2 Unit Play. Take #914 Under 9.5 in Kansas City @ Minnesota (1:40p.m., Thursday, July 30 MLB.tv) Both teams have their best hitter out of the lineup and thus I expect runs to be hard to come by on Thursday in this rubber game.

2 Unit Play. Take #969 Kansas City (+1.5 RL) -125 over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Wednesday, July 29 MLB.tv) Joe Ryan got hit hard in his last start and I do not see him bouncing all the way back tonight. Kansas City is a light hitting team, but they do have Randy Dobnak on the mound. He has been solid this season with a 1.42 E.R.A. in four starts. He will give us a good five innings and keep the score low.

2 Unit Play. Take #917 Over in New York @ Chicago (7:40p.m., Tuesday, July 28 MLB.tv) Just do not trust either pitcher to be dominate in this hitter friendly park. Cole has given up at least two runs in every start that he has made since the beginning of June. He has given up 10 earned runs this month and I don’t see him getting through 6 innings in this game. Anthony Kay is a 5 and fly guy and he has give up two earned runs in his last 3 starts. If each starter gives up at least two earned runs, I expect this game to hit the over.

6 Unit  Play. Take #974 Washington -120 over Toronto (6:45p.m., Monday, July 27 MLB.tv) The Blue Jays have not been any good of late losing 9 of their last 11 games. They are going to try and bring back Max Scherzer for this start, his first start since June 10. He has not been good this season and Toronto is 0-5 in the last 5 games that he starts. He will not last long in this game and the Nationals should be able to get to him at some point in this game. Andrew Alvarez has been okay this season and if he can avoid walks he should be successful tonight. The Nationals are a much better hitting team of late compared to the Blue Jays and their bullpen has been better of late as well. Toronto has lost 4 straight series and I see them losing the opening game on Monday.

2 Unit Play. Take #909 Over 7.5 in Colorado @ Milwaukee (2:10p.m., Sunday, July 26 MLB.tv) The Miz is back on the mound for the Brewers, but I do not expect him to last long in this game. 13 runs were scored yesterday, and Kyle Freeland is not any good for Colorado. Thus, we expect this game to go over the posted number on Sunday.

3 Unit Play. Take #958 Milwaukee (-1.5 RL) -110 over Colorado (7:10p.m., Saturday, July 25 MLB.tv) Just do not see the Brewers losing two straight games to the Rockies. Colorado is 18-34 on the road this season. Neither pitcher is very good in this game, but the Brewers will bounce back in a big way and win this game going away.

7 Unit Play. Take #907 Over 9 in Los Angeles @ New York (7:10p.m., Friday, July 24 MLB.tv) What a schedule the Mets have had of late playing some of the top teams in baseball. Boston, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Los Angeles, and Atlanta is next after this weekend series. The Mets are getting some players back and they should be able to get to Roki Sasaki at some point in this game. He has a 4.98 E.R.A. and a 1.34 WHIP. He has given up 19 home runs. The Dodgers scored 18 runs against the Phillies and have scored at least 7 runs in 3 of their last 5 games. They tend to score a bunch of runs or just 2 or less runs in their games of late, but I see them hitting Sean Manaea. He is usually just a five and fly guy and has allowed at least one run in 12 start starts. 34 combined runs have been scored in his last 3 starts. Play the over on Friday night.

2 Unit Play. Take #975 St. Louis over Los Angeles (9:38p.m., Tuesday, July 21 MLB.tv) This is a low number since the Halos have the edge in pitching. I just do not believe Los Angeles can win three straight games. This team has trouble scoring runs and the Cardinals do not want to lose a series to a team that is 40-61.

2 Unit Play. Take #910 Cleveland +105 over Minnesota (6:40p.m., Monday, July 20 MLB.tv) Minnesota was not really competitive in the last two games in Chicago now they travel to Cleveland to open a series with the Guardians. Tanner Bibee has pitched better than his record would indicate he is familiar with the Twins. Getting him as an underdog is too good to pass up on Monday.

2 Unit Play. Take #965 Detroit (-1.5 RL) +105 over Los Angeles (4:07p.m., Sunday, July 20 MLB.tv) Detroit won the first two games and is going for the sweep on Sunday. Los Angeles has scored one total run in the first two games.

7 Unit Play. Take #915 Detroit (-1.5 RL) over Los Angeles (10:07p.m., Saturday, July 18 MLB.tv) The Halos shot their wad last night with a great pitching performance and still lost the game despite leading with two outs in the ninth. They are a terrible team and now must face one of the best pitchers in the league in Tarik Skubal. He still might get traded and I see him giving us a strong outing on Saturday night. Skubal has allowed just 4 earned runs combined in his last 4 starts and I see him giving us a quality start on Saturday. Los Angeles is just 2-11 in their last 13 games, and they are heading south like this always do. Detroit still have visions of making a run in the American League and they will need a sweep in this series. Momentum is on the Tigers side in this game.

2 Unit Play. Take #970 Under in Los Angeles @ New York (7:05p.m., Friday, July 17 MLBN) Both of these starting pitchers will be up for this game and want to put forth a good showing to start the second half. Gerrit Cole has been pitching better of late and threw a quality start in his last outing. The Yankees still are missing key pieces to their everyday lineup, and I see this game being low scoring. The combined runs in Cole’s last four starts were 3, 7, 5, and 8, all below tonight’s total.

7 Unit Play. Take #915 Athletics +110 over Chicago (2:10p.m., Sunday, July 12 MLB.tv) Sacramento is trying to avoid a sweep in Chicago today. They have lost 4 of 5 games to the White Sox this season. J.T. has been one of the lone bright spots for the Athletics this July and I look for another good performance out of him today. He has a 3.10 E.R.A. on the year and has allowed 3 earned runs or less in 5 straight starts. Noah Schultz is just 2-6 on the year and has a 1.42 WHIP. This game will come down to which starting pitcher can avoid walks and home runs and I trust J.T. Ginn much better. Sacramento is desperate for a win, and I expect them to get it on Sunday to salvage a game in this series.

2 Unit Play. Take #962 Chicago -110 over Athletics (2:10p.m., Saturday, July 11 MLB.tv) A pair of southpaws are set to do battle on Saturday in the Windy City. Chicago got back on track last night winning 14-1to end their 3 game losing streak. I see them taking down Sacramento as well in this game and winning this series before the All-Star break.

3 Unit Play. Take #914 Tampa Bay over Seattle (7:10p.m., Friday, July 10 MLB.tv) The Mariners just got swept by the Marlins and will now stay in Florida to battle the Rays. Tampa Bay has a strong pitcher on the mound in Nick Martinez. He is 7-2 on the season with a 2.61 E.R.A. and a 1.13 WHIP. Luis Castillo is a veteran but he has not been very good this season with a 4.79 E.R.A. and has allowed more hits than innings pitched. Back the home team on Friday night.

2 Unit Play. Take #976 Miami +115 over Seattle (6:40p.m., Thursday, July 9 MLB.tv) The Marlins are playing the best of anyone at the moment and will enter this game going for the sweep. Miami has won 5 straight games, and we will grab them at this underdog price.

3 Unit Play. Take #908 Los Angeles (-1.5 RL) -125 over Colorado (10:10p.m., Wednesday, July 8 MLB.tv) Both of these games have been competitive, but the Dodgers do not want to drop a series to the Rockies at home. Roki Sasaki has not been good of late, but the Dodgers have still won 2 of his last 4 starts. Colorado is just what he needs to get back on track and expect him to give us a quality start on Wednesday. Sooner or later the Dodgers will have a big inning in this game and pull away and win this one by two or three runs.

2 Unit Play. Take #968 Chicago +110 over Boston (7:40p.m., Tuesday, July 7 MLB.tv) Just do not believe Boston should be favored in this game over Chicago at Rate Field. Boston beat up on Los Angeles, but they are still 8 games below .500. The White Sox won the last two games against Cleveland to get back on track and they are 28-14 at home this season. We will back them at an underdog price on Tuesday night.

2 Unit Play. Take #964 New York over Minnesota (1:35p.m., Sunday, July 5 MLB.tv) The Yankees do not want to lose a series to the Twins at home especially when they were struggling coming into this weekend holiday. Joe Ryan has not been effective in his last two starts, giving up 10 runs in just 10 innings of work. New York is starting to swing the bats better and I see them griding out a victory on Sunday in this rubber game.

2 Unit Play. Take #914 New York (-1.5 RL) +130 over Minnesota (1:35p.m., Saturday, July 4 MLB.tv) We will back the Yankees for a second consecutive day on the run line. New York needed Minnesota to get healthy. New York has beaten Minnesota 12 of the last 14 games. The Twins are 8-29 in their last 37 games at Yankee Stadium.

5 Unit  Play. Take #964 New York (-1.5 RL) +110 over Minnesota (7:05p.m., Friday, July 3 MLB.tv) The Yankees have been struggling and being without Judge and Stanton is finally catching up to them. But Minnesota is just what the doctor ordered for them and Cole to get back on track. Minnesota is 5-25 in their past 30 regular season games at Yankee Stadium. New York should be getting a couple of players back and I see them winning this game big.

2 Unit Play. Take #905 Miami over Colorado (3:10p.m., Thursday, July 2 MLB.tv) We lost yesterday backing Miami on the run line, but we will go right back to them on Thursday afternoon. Miami does not want to split this series with Colorado and should be able to take care of business on Thursday. Miami won 20 games during the month of June.

2 Unit Play. Take #959 Miami over Colorado (8:40p.m., Wednesday, July 1 MLB.tv) The Marlins have been sneaky good of late and will enter this game having won 10 of their last 12 games. They have scored 24 runs in the first two games of this series and we will ride them tonight on the run line.

7 Unit Play. Take #922 Houston -105 over Minnesota (8:10p.m., Tuesday, June 30 MLB.tv) The Twins won the opening game, but Houston rallied late in that game to score 3 runs in the ninth innings. Byron Buxton did not play on Monday due to a hip injury and he is considered day-to-day. Mike Burrows has pitched better of late, and I look for that to carry over into this game on Tuesday. Houston has been playing of late as they get closer to the .500 mark and have a strong MVP candidate in Yordan Alvarez. Houston will have their hands full with Joe Ryan, but I feel this offense will get to him at some point in this game. Houston does not want to drop the first two games to Minnesota, and I feel they will come out on top in this game at a nice underdog price.

2 Unit Play. Take #954 Milwaukee -145 over Cincinnati (7:40p.m., Monday, June 29 MLB.tv) The Brewers own the Reds. Milwaukee is 49-22 against Cincinnati since 2021 and they have won 12 straight series against the Reds. Enough said, play the Brewers at home this evening.

2 Unit Play. Take #925 Under 9 in Washington @ Baltimore (1:35p.m., Sunday, June 28 MLB.tv) This beltway battle has stayed way under the posted total in the first two games and I see the under hitting again on Sunday. Just 11 combined runs were scored on Friday and Saturday.

5 Unit Play. Take #963 New York -115 over Boston (1:10p.m., Saturday, June 27 ABC) Gerrit Cole is coming back from injury, and I expect him to get better as the season progresses. New York has lost the first two games of this series, scoring just 4 runs in the two games. Jake Bennett has been solid of late for Boston, but his team has lost his last 4 starts.

2 Unit Play. Take #929 Colorado (+1.5 RL) -145 over Minnesota (8:10p.m., Friday, June 26 MLB.tv) The Twins are a very streaky team and they are on the downslide at the moment having been swept by the Dodgers earlier this week. Colorado is improved this season and I feel that they can take this game down to the wire. Tomoyuki Dugano has been good for Colorado with 8 wins on the season and I see him doing well in this pitcher friendly park.

6 Unit Play. Take #963 New York (-1.5 RL) over Boston (7:10p.m., Thursday, June 25 MLBN) The Red Sox are just not a good team and are 12-25 at Fenway Park this season. The Yankees are coming off a series win against the Tigers beating Skubal in the game yesterday by a score of 4-2. New York is missing Judge, but they are hitting home runs and that will play a role in the game tonight. The Yankees are 5-1 this season against the Red Sox. Boston gaged in their series against Colorado losing the last two games after having leads late in those games. Cam Schlittler will be the difference tonight as he has a 1.71 E.R.A. and a 0.90 WHIP. The Massachusetts native will come up big in Boston tonight.

2 Unit Play. Take #921 Texas over Miami (12:10p.m., Wednesday, June 24 MLB.tv) We will back Jacob deGrom in this match on Wednesday at loanDepot Park in Miami, FL. Jake has been pitching at least 6 innings for most of the season, and I expect he will get back on track Wednesday after a rough outing. Miami plays in a pitcher’s park and expect Texas to win this game and get closer to the .500 mark.

2 Unit Play. Take #924 Under in Los Angeles @ Minnesota (7:40p.m., Monday, June 22 MLB.tv) Both teams have major gaps in their batting order at the bottom and thus I see a low scoring game on Monday. Eric Lauer is coming of a quality start last time out and I see him pitching a good game tonight at Target Field.

2 Unit Play. Take #902 Atlanta -130 over Milwaukee (4:10p.m., Saturday, June 20 MLB.tv) We did not get a Miz – Sale matchup due to the rainout on Thursday, but we hit with Atlanta on Friday. We will go back to them again on Saturday with Chris Sale on the mound and a low price.

2 Unit Play. Take Atlanta (+1.5 RL) -120 over Milwaukee (7:15p.m., Friday, June 19 MLB.tv) The Braves are facing the Miz and thus are a big underdog despite playing this game at home. Atlanta has a better record than Milwaukee and they are well rested as they did not play yesterday. I think they will score some runs off the Miz and should be able to keep this a one run game either way.

7 Unit Play. Take #908 Minnesota -125 over Texas (2:35p.m., Thursday, June 18 MLB.tv) Texas has a weak lineup with injuries taking its toll on them. I see the Twins completing the sweep behind their ace, Joe Ryan on the mound. Ryan has much better numbers than his Texas counterpart and I see him dominating this Rangers lineup. Jack Leiter has been hit hard in his last two starts giving up 11 runs in just under 10 innings of work. That includes 3 home runs against two teams that do not hit a lot of home runs (Boston & Cleveland). Minnesota won 12-2 last night and they have given up just 4 runs in the two games thus far in the series.

2 Unit Play. Take #976 Milwaukee -125 over Cleveland (7:40p.m., Wednesday, June 17 MLB.tv) The Brewers just keep finding ways to win and getting them at this price on Wednesday is too good to pass up. The Guardians have lost 7 of their last 10 games.

2 Unit Play. Take #958 Chicago (-1.5 RL) +100 over Colorado (8:05p.m., Monday, June 15 MLB.tv) The Cubs need to start stacking up some wins against bad teams in order to get back on track and make the playoffs. They are starting to get healthy with their starting pitchers and I see Shota Imanaga giving us a good showing tonight. These two teams met last week and the Cubs won the last game 9-3 and that is how I see this game going as well.

2 Unit Play. Take #908 Milwaukee over Philadelphia (2:10p.m., Sunday, June 14 MLB.tv) This is a great pitching matchup, and I expect Kyle Harrison to hold his own against Cristopher Sanchez. Harrison had to pitch in Las Vegas last time out and that elevation got to him, and I see him bouncing back in a big way on Sunday. The Brewers are the better all-around team, and they will win this rubber game on Sunday.

2 Unit Play. Take #959 Over 7.5 in Chicago @ San Francisco (10:05p.m., Saturday, June 13 MLB.tv) Just do not trust either teams pitching and feel at least one of these starting pitchers is going to get hit hard.

7 Unit Play. Take #903 Arizona -105 over Cincinnati (7:15p.m., Friday, June 12 Apple TV+) The Diamondbacks need to get back on track after getting swept by Miami this week. They are back to .500 but have the right man on the mound to break this losing streak in Eduardo Rodriguez. He is 5-2 on the season with a 2.52 E.R.A. and a 1.18 WHIP. His numbers are far and away better than LHP Nick Lodolo. He has gotten hit much of the season including giving up 3 home runs in his last two starts. The Reds are without Elly De La Cruz and that is a major void for them. Cincinnati has fallen below .500 and they are just 16-16 at home. Arizona gets the win and we collect at a nice underdog price.

2 Unit Play. Take #960 Detroit -130 over Minnesota (1:10p.m., Thursday, June 11 MLB.tv) Neither team is very good but I still trust Detroit more. The Tigers have Keider Montero on the mound and he has a 3.95 E.R.A. and a 1.03 WHIP. He has pitched better than his 2-4 record would indicate and getting him at this price is too good to pass up.

6 Unit Play. Take #980 Athletics over Milwaukee (10:05p.m., Tuesday, June 9 MLB.tv) Pitching was brutal in this game last night, but I see the Athletics evening up this series at one game apiece behind J.T.Ginn. He has been outstanding of late, and the Athletics will send a deep performance from him after their bullpen got destroyed last night. He has allowed two runs or less in 7 straight starts. The A’s have strong bats and the Brewers are not as big of home run hitting team compared to them. Sacramento has the better bats and starting pitcher in this game and I see them evening up this series at one game apiece in Las Vegas.

2 Unit Play. Take #915 Milwaukee over Athletics (10:05p.m., Monday, June 8 MLB.tv) This series is taking place in Las Vegas, and I expect to watch the Brewers win game 1 of this series in person. Kyle Harrison is 7-1 on the season with a 1.57 E.R.A. and a 1.03 WHIP. This is a hitter friendly park, but the Brewers have a big edge on the mound and will take care of business on Monday.

7 Unit Play. Take #657 Over 8 in Washington @ Arizona (3:15p.m., Sunday, June 7 Peacock) The Diamondbacks need to get their offense going to avoid being swept by the Nationals at home. Both of these starting pitchers are having solid years, but neither one has been dominating. The Nationals have scored 20 runs in two games in this series and I feel at least one of these starting pitchers will get hit hard in this game. Chase Field is a hitter friendly park, and we will not worry about who wins this game and just focus on the over.

3 Unit Play. Take #907 Under 9.5 in Washington @ Arizona (4:10p.m., Saturday, June 6 MLB.tv) Both pitchers have been solid of late and Arizona scored just one run last night. I see this being a well pitched game that is low scoring and the under will hit.

4 Unit Play. Take #911 Kansas City -115 over Minnesota (7:40p.m., Thursday, June 4 MLB.tv) Neither one of these teams is very good this season, but the Royals have won 4 of the last 6 games with the Twins. We will back the veteran Seth Lugo, as he has pitched better than his 2-4 record would indicate. He has kept the ball inside the fence and has a strong strikeout to walk ration. His numbers are better than Andrew Morris and I see winning 3 of their last 4 games.

2 Unit Play. Take #956 Milwaukee over San Francisco (7:40p.m., Wednesday, June 3 MLB.tv) We used the Brewers in the first two games and we will ride them in Game 3 as well. The Brewers are unsure as of this writing who will start this game, but it will not matter. We are getting value due to this and San Francisco throwing Logan Webb. I see this being another Brewers victory.

2 Unit Play. Take #906 Milwaukee over San Francisco (7:40p.m., Tuesday, June 2 MLB.tv) We collected with the Brewers last night and we will lay the juice tonight. This is a pitching and team mismatch.
