This is a free play on Over.
The Rays have gone over in five straight, and their bullpen ranks dead last in the major leagues (ERA by reliever).
Griffin Canning will toe the slab for LA tonight, and he comes in with an ERA of 9.88.
The Rays hand the ball to Ryan Pepiot, who has allowed 10 runs on nine hits and five walks over 11 2/3 innings in two home starts so far.
The Angels have gone over their team total in five of their last six overall.

7* MLB Dbacks/Giants Free Pick
PLAY ON: Dbacks/Giants UNDER 8
I'm on the UNDER 8 in Thursday's NL West clash between the Diamondbacks and Giants. Offense figures to be hard to come by with today's starting pitching matchup. San Francisco will send out ace Logan Webb, who has been sharp outside of one bad outing against the loaded Dodgers lineup. Webb gave up 5 runs on 7 hits in 3 2/3 innings in his start vs LA. He's given up just 5 ER in his 3 other starts combined. Webb also owns a strong 2.80 ERA and 1.197 WHIP over 10 career starts vs Arizona. The Diamondbacks will counter with Ryne Nelson, who has looked much better in his last two starts after opening the season with a dud against the Yankees. Nelson also has a strong track record vs SF with a 3.44 ERA and 1.145 WHIP in 3 career starts (allowed just 3 ER in 2 starts, 13 2/3 innings at SF). Give me the UNDER 8!

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR THURSDAY, 4/18:
My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Thursday afternoon was with Matt Fitzpatrick in Round One head-to-head props versus Patrick Cantlay. Fitzpatrick is the defending champion of this tournament — and he loves this course with his personal affinity for Harbour Town tracing back to his childhood when he would play here when his family traveled to Hilton Head on holiday. In his last six appearances at this event, he has four top 15 results — and he has averaged a 68.69 score at the Par 71 course. He has four top-25 finishes in his last five PGA Tour events after his tie for 22nd place last week at the Masters — and he has accomplished this despite only realizing last week that he had been playing with an added weight in his driver for practice earlier in the year. Cantlay finished in a tie for 22nd place at the Masters last week despite benefitting from two holes out during the week. He simply is not in great form right now with only one top-ten finish in his eight starts this year. He has only one win on the PGA Tour in the last three seasons. He is struggling with his Ball-Striking — he ranks just 72nd on the tour in Shots-Gained: Tee-to-Green and 149th in Shots-Gained: Approach-the-Green this season after ranking third and 16th in those metrics respectively last season. Going into the Masters, he had lost strokes versus the field in Approach-the-Green in six of his previous seven tournaments — and he lost strokes versus the field from Tee-to-Green in four of his last five events. For more comparison, he lost strokes versus the field from Tee-to-Green only four times in 2022 through 2023. Take Fitzpatrick (7140) versus Cantlay (7139) in Round One head-to-head props. Best of luck — Frank.

Frank was a WINNING 2-1 with his Masters prop bets last week (but it was still disappointing with none of his three golfers in contention on the weekend after making the cut). Thursday NHL Free play. My selection is on Winnipeg over Vancouver at 8:05 pm et on Thursday.
Both of these teams already know who they'll be facing in the first round of the playoffs and I suspect Thursday's matchup will have a bit of a preseason feel to it. With that said, I like the Jets to keep their long winning streak intact as they look to head into their showdown with the mighty Avalanche with a full head of steam. The Canucks are coming off back-to-back wins over the Oilers and Flames including a decisive 4-1 victory on home ice two nights ago. This is of course a game where they'll simply be looking to stay healthy heading into the postseason. Note that Vancouver is 9-14 (-9.1 net games) when coming off consecutive wins by two goals or more over the last three seasons, as is the case here. Winnipeg is 9-5 (+2.7 net games) when seeking revenge for a shutout loss against an opponent over the same stretch. Take Winnipeg.
