So with so much on the line where does your favorite stand heading into Week 16?

Let’s take a look in Dave B’s Week 16 NFL Power Rankings.
1. New England Patriots (12-2)
– Last Week: 1
The Patriots proved once again in Week 15 that they can win any which way possible. This time it was with defense, on the road against a traditional foe – Denver when they allowed three points against and under 200 total yards of offense.
The running game was the offensive star in that game as well. Like it or not New England is the most balanced team in the game today and a worthy #1 this week.
2. Dallas Cowboys (12-2)
– Last Week: 2
Criticism is a real thing in today’s NFL – the youngsters on the Cowboys heard what was said and let their play do the talking. Dak went 32-for36 in the game and Zeke rumbled for 159 yards and a TD.
The defense was pretty impressive against a Hot Tampa bay team as well – they harassed Jameis Winston all game long.

Can you think of anybody but New York in the NFC that has a chance of beating this team?
3. Oakland Raiders (11-3)
– Last Week: 4
The Raiders are officially back in the playoffs!
They beat San Diego on the road Sunday while not exactly playing their best game – a sign of a very, very good team. The Achilles Heel, the defense has improved immensely over the season, David Carr should be healthier this week and the running game has shown glimpses the last couple of games.
Not saying that Oakland is ready to challenge New England just yet, just saying that their 11 wins is mighty impressive.
4. Seattle Seahawks (9-4-1)
– Last Week: 7
The Seahawks beat up on the lowly Rams last Thursday at home where they are undefeated this year. The problem? They are just 2-4-1 on the road. Seattle has Arizona and San Francisco left on the schedule which should mean a first round bye and a home playoff date.
The panic was all for not Seahawks fans – the team is exactly who we thought they would be.
5. New York Giants (10-4)
– Last Week: 6
The Giants seem to have that formula that has been so prevalent in recent Super Bowl winners – a superb defense and a complimentary offense. Eli Manning has to get better – doesn’t he?
And with one of the biggest play-makers in the game in Odell Beckham the G-Men look like a sneaky threat in the NFC this year.

After all they are the only team to beat Dallas and they have done it twice!
6. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-5)
– Last Week: 9
It wasn’t pretty on Sunday but the Steelers beat the Bengals in a game in which LeVeon Bell and Antonio Brown were largely shut down. What are the chances that happens again? Exactly!
Pittsburgh’s defense is no joke anymore – they have recorded 19 sacks and seven picks in their last five games. I like Pittsburgh to push the Pats this – should be fun!
7. Atlanta Falcons (9-5)
– Last Week: 8
The Falcons just keep on winning even though Stud Julio Jones has been inactive the last couple of games. Atlanta’s other weapons have stepped up in his place – how about Devonta Freeman lately and Taylor Gabriel?
Along with a defense that gets better each and every week you absolutely have to love where the Falcons are headed.
8. Kansas City Chiefs (10-4)
– Last Week: 3
The Chiefs may have been a little unlucky to lose at home on Sunday – they didn’t score one point in the second half of that game – not good! Still, their defense has been terrific this year and the re-emergence of Jeremy Maclin on Sunday can only help this team.
That said the offense has been stuck in neutral the last few weeks – something that is going to have to change for this team to contend.
9. Detroit Lions (9-5)
– Last Week: 5
The Lions hit New York at precisely the wrong time – the Giants defense was on a different level and the Lions suffered for it.
The Lions have to get back to being able to run the ball, Matt Stafford’s finger injury HAS to get better and the magic/heroics from earlier in the season has to resurface.
The Lions face the Cowboys and red-hot Packers in their final two games – unenviable to say the least!
10. Green Bay Packers (8-6)
– Last Week: 12
Speaking of the Packers! They almost let one slip away in Chicago on Sunday but as all good teams do, they found a way.
Aaron Rodgers has taken this team on his back and Ty Montgomery has become a savior in the backfield – the Packers look every bit the team that nobody wants to play come playoff time!
11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-6)
– Last Week: 10
The Bucs competed hard in Dallas on Sunday night but mistakes (4 turnovers) cost them that game. Still, with an emerging defense and an offense that has playmakers galore Tampa’s arrow is pointing WAY up.

A playoff spot is a real possibility for this team – wins against the Saints and Panthers in their final two would propel them into the postseason.
12. Baltimore Ravens (8-6)
– Last Week: 14
The Ravens beat the Eagles on Sunday but will have to beat the Steelers on Christmas Day in order to gain a playoff berth. The Ravens haven’t been spectacular all season long – just solid enough to make things interesting.
13. Tennessee Titans (8-6) – Last Week: 15
14. Miami Dolphins (9-5) – Last Week: 17
15. Denver Broncos (8-6) – Last Week: 11
16. Washington Redskins (7-6-1) – Last Week: 13
17. Buffalo Bills (7-7) – Last Week: 19
18. Houston Texans (8-6) – Last Week: 18
19. Carolina Panthers (6-8) – Last Week: 20
20. Indianapolis Colts (7-7) – Last Week: 25
21. Minnesota Vikings (7-7) – Last Week: 16
22. New Orleans Saints (6-8) – Last Week: 21
23. San Diego Chargers (5-9) – Last Week: 22
24. Arizona Cardinals (5-8-1) – Last Week: 24
25. Philadelphia Eagles (5-9) – Last Week: 23
26. Cincinnati Bengals (5-8-1) – Last Week: 26
27. Chicago Bears (3-11) – Last Week: 29
28. New York Jets (4-10) – Last Week: 27
29. Los Angeles Rams (4-10) – Last Week: 28
30. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-12) – Last Week: 30
31. San Francisco 49ers (1-13) – Last Week: 31
32. Cleveland Browns (0-14) – Last Week: 32
