NFL Power Rankings Week 11
Looking for 2016 NFL Power Rankings? Week 10 of the NFL season is in the books – it was yet another unforgettable slate of games that we all had the pleasure of witnessing. Some true Heavyweights battled in two of the best games NFL fans could hope to see.
Three of the four teams involved in those two games land in the top 5 in the Rankings this week and a few previous contenders fall out of the dirty dozen all together.

So where does your favorite stand heading into Week 11? Let’s take a look in Dave B’s Week 11 NFL Power Rankings.
1. Dallas Cowboys
(8-1)
Last Week: 2
The Cowboys have the best record in the league and answered a lot of questions on Sunday – they were able to head out on the road and beat a good Pittsburgh team in dramatic style.
There is no quit in this team – with Zeke Elliot scoring three more times Sunday and Dak Prescott running the ship the sky is the limit for this club. Eight wins in a row makes the Cowboys the new #1.
2. New England Patriots
(7-2)
Last Week: 1
The Patriots were beaten by the Seahawks on Sunday night. Truth be told Seattle played almost the perfect game! Tom Brady failed to throw a TD pass and the defense was caught a little off guard by the well rounded Seahawks.

I don’t expect the losing to continue though – New England is still one of the classiest teams in the NFL and head and shoulders above any team in the AFC.
3. Oakland Raiders
(7-2)
Last Week: 3
The Raiders had their bye in Week 10 – they don’t lose their position in the top 3 although one could argue that the two teams behind them could have easily leap-frogged them.
Oakland heads to Mexico City this upcoming weekend to take on the Houston Texans – should be interesting indeed.
4. Kansas City Chiefs
(7-2)
Last Week: 4
The Chiefs hold their position this week as well thanks to a thrilling come-from-behind win against the Panthers.
KC proved that it is never out of a game – the turnovers that the defense creates has been a blessing indeed and has been the key reason the Chiefs have now won five straight.
We’ve seen this formula before – an unflattering passing game, a good running game and a strong defense – the Broncos rode that formula to a Championship last year.
5. Seattle Seahawks
(6-2-1)
Last Week: 6
The Seattle Seahawks played their best game of the season Sunday night in a road win at New England. They were impressive in every aspect of the game – rushing, passing and on defense.
Russell Wilson looks healthy finally and the Seahawks look like a dangerous team once again. Seattle is back to that elite form folks – like it or not!
6. Denver Broncos
(7-3)
Last Week: 7
In what was one of the craziest endings to a game that most have ever seen the Denver Broncos got back into the win column at the expense of the New Orleans Saints.

That formula I talked about earlier – running and taking care of the ball and letting your defense dominate proved successful once again for Denver – against one of the best offenses in the land.
7. Atlanta Falcons
(6-4)
Last Week: 5
I argued last week that the Falcons could have been a 7-1 if they were just afforded a bounce or two along the way. Well they didn’t look like a 7-1 team against Philadelphia on Sunday – they score a season-low 15 points and the defense was gutted by Ryan Matthews.
There are cracks on this team – if they don’t score 35 per game they are in serious trouble.
8. New York Giants
(6-3)
Last Week: 9
The G-Men held off the Bengals on Monday night – barely but we saw some very good things come out of the game. First of all the Giants found a running game and the other was a defense that held Cincinnati in check for most of the night.
I don’t know if New York is championship caliber bur for now they are an easy top 10 team.
9. Houston Texans
(6-3)
Last Week: 10
It’s true that the Texans beat a bad Jacksonville team on Sunday but a win is a win. Brock Osweiler failed to hit 100 yards passing in the game – AGAINST THE JAGS!!!!
Houston is a top 10 team by record only – their play makes them look like a #15 or so team!
10. Philadelphia Eagles
(5-4)
Last Week: 13
The Philadelphia Eagles put it all together on Sunday in a good win against the league’s best offense – the Falcons who they held to 15 points – impressive.
Carson Wentz was efficient and effective, Ryan Matthews was terrific and the defense was very good on Sunday. The Eagles resembled the team that we caught us all off guard early in the season – well rounded and effective in every aspect of the game.
11. Miami Dolphins
(5-4)
Last Week: 18
Here comes Miami!
They have now won four straight games and have been getting it done thanks to a strong running game.

Plus, a QB that isn’t turning the ball over and because of a swarming defense that is getting to the opposing QB with regularity, Cameron Wake and company forced 4 interceptions from Philip Rivers on Sunday and suddenly have the defense to make things interesting in the AFC.
12. Washington Redskins
(5-3-1)
Last Week: 19
The Skins have won five of their last seven games and beat the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday without DeSean Jackson. Washington is a confident team right now – Kirk Cousins is making some quality throws and the running game is doing its part as well.
The NFC East is a battle right now with the Skins right in the hunt!
13. Baltimore Ravens (5-4) – Last Week: 20
14. Arizona Cardinals (4-4-1) – Last Week: 14
15. Cincinnati Bengals (3-5-1) – Last Week: 15
16. Detroit Lions (5-4) – Last Week: 16
17. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-5) – Last Week: 11
18. New Orleans Saints (4-5) – Last Week: 17
19. Minnesota Vikings (5-5) – Last Week: 8
20. Green Bay Packers (4-5) – Last Week: 12
21. Tennessee Titans (5-5) – Last Week: 26
22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) – Last Week: 27
23. Indianapolis Colts (4-5) – Last Week: 23
24. San Diego Chargers (4-6) – Last Week: 21
25. Buffalo Bills (4-5) – Last Week: 22
26. Carolina Panthers (3-6) – Last Week: 24
27. Los Angeles Rams (4-5) – Last Week: 28
28. Chicago Bears (2-7) – Last Week: 25
29 New York Jets (3-7) – Last Week: 29
30. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7) – Last Week: 30
31. San Francisco 49ers (1-8) – Last Week: 31
32. Cleveland Browns (0-10) – Last Week: 32
