(5 Early 2017 Super Bowl Futures Bets To Make and why)
It’s never too early to pick apart the NFL futures for the Superbowl. Had you taken the Denver Broncos at this time last year, you could have gotten 10/1 odds, which was the highest they had been during the season.
Finding value in these futures is certainly a possibility right now with teams not yet signing any new players, nor making trades.
Below is 5 early potential NFL futures to take and why as these all have tremendous value.
2017 Super Bowl Futures – New England Patriots 8/1
The Pats open up as co favorites with the Seattle Seahawks. Think about what New England did this year with what they had.
They were essentially on their 6th and 7th receivers down the stretch of the season as they continued to battle injury after injury. Brady has proven throughout his NFL career that he can make his receivers better.
Brady and company were without Julian Edelman for the final 1/4 of the regular season and the Patriots still managed to grab a first round bye. Then this team really showed how good they were when Edelman returned for the Divisional round game.
Him and Gronk proved to be unstoppable and showed just how good this team is. Think about good this team will be once everyone is healthy? At 8/1 odds, this may be the best odds you seem them.
2017 Super Bowl Futures – Green Bay Packers 10/1
Aaron Rodgers is certainly going to come back this season with a vengeance.
The Packers were forced into unfamiliar territory as they lost the division to the Vikings and were forced to play during Wild Card Weekend. They managed to use their experience and defeated the Redskins and traveled into Arizona for the divisional round game.
The thing about the Packers, they were never dead. Trailing for a majority of the game, Rodgers and the Packers had 4th down and 20 from their own end zone.

Rodgers connected for a 50+ yard pass to keep the game alive. Then for the 2nd time in the season, Rodgers connected for a buzzer beating Hail Mary pass to tie things up. The Packers eventually did lose in overtime, but it still showed how good this team was.
Going into next season they’ll get a healthy Jordy Nelson back, who missed the entire season with a torn ACL. He’ll provide a giant boost for this Packers team.
2017 Super Bowl Futures – Arizona Cardinals 10/1
The Arizona Cardinals are probably the least talked about good team in the NFL.
For a 2nd straight season this team captured a division title and Carson Palmer has proven to be one of the best things to happen to this team.
Arizona had zero run game last season. With injuries piling up in the backfield, Palmer and Fitzgerald had the pressure on them.
Then, it was WR John Brown, who had over 1000 yards of receiving with 7 touchdowns. This team is a running back transaction away from really making a scene next season.
2017 Super Bowl Futures – Cincinnati Bengals 14-1
The Bengals playoff woes continued last season, this time in quite the dramatic fashion. After leading with just 1 minute to go against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Bengals needed one stop.
Fast forward about 30 seconds and the Steelers are down in field goal range.

Yep, after a pass interference call and a pair of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties for arguing, the Bengals had once again successfully choked away a playoff game.
Heading into this season the Bengals will likely compete with Pittsburgh for the division title, but they certainly have enough talent to at least grab a Wild Card spot.
Look for the Bengals to make the playoffs once again next season in a very weak division. Hedging opportunities will be available for them come playoff time.
2017 Super Bowl Futures – Carolina Panthers 12/1
The Carolina Panthers nearly headed into the Superbowl undefeated last season. Cam Newton and company lost just one game, to the Falcons, and breezed through the playoffs.
They were eventually stopped by the best defense in the league, but this Panthers team got their feet wet in the high pressured Superbowl as it was apparent nerves played a giant role.
Newton will also have the major benefit of Kelvin Benjamin back. The star WR got hurt in mini camp and missed the entire season. Still, Newton turned Ted Ginn Jr. and Corey Brown into solid receivers as these two have really developed.
Look for the return of Benjamin to really spark this team next season, leaving them with a lot of value.
