Let’s take a look in Ray Monohan’s Week 6 NFL Power Rankings.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (5-0)
– Last Week: 1
The Chiefs remain the league’s only unbeaten team and haven’t shown any signs of slowing down.
The questions about their ability to carry their solid play into the postseason will remain until they show they can get over that hump, but for now, their offense is looking explosive, and their defense has weathered the loss of Eric Berry.
2. Green Bay Packers (4-1)
– Last Week: 3
Who wants to face Aaron Rodgers right now? No one. He’s the best in the league at his position and he’s at the top of his game right now.

Even without much of a running game and the assumption the team’s going to pass on every down, Rodgers is able to pick apart defenses like no other player can.
3. New England Patriots (3-2)
– Last Week: 2
The Patriots are coming off a win, but they again didn’t look particularly impressive, and could’ve lost that game if not for Nick Folk’s inaccuracy.
They sold out to stop the pass and wound up letting Doug Martin look like Walter Payton. And they still surrendered 300 yards to Jameis Winston through the air.
Not to mention their offense continues to deal with injuries, including a shoulder ailment for Tom Brady.
4. Denver Broncos (3-1)
– Last Week: 6
The Broncos move up two spots coming off a bye, largely because they picked a great week to have off. There were a slew of upsets this past week, allowing the idle Broncos to leapfrog some of their active competitors.
5. Carolina Panthers (4-1)
– Last Week: 13
It was a big win for the Panthers this past weekend, as they went into Detroit and got a big road ‘W.’ Going into Detroit isn’t the afterthought it once was, so this was a big statement win for a Panthers team in need of just that.

This team is beginning to look like the group that went to the Super Bowl just two seasons ago, and with Cam Newton looking like he’s finally figured out his team’s new offense, the Panthers are a team to watch in the weeks ahead.
6. Philadelphia Eagles (4-1)
– Last Week: 11
The Eagles have been winning games in convincing fashion, which has them in the conversation with the NFC’s elite teams. Carson Wentz is developing quickly, and he has all the tools around him necessary to continue his ascent.
The team will get thrown right back into the fire on Thursday with a date against the Panthers.
7. Atlanta Falcons (3-1)
– Last Week: 8
Like the Broncos, the bye came at the right time for the Falcons, who were sitting at home while some top-end teams suffered upset losses, allowing them to move up a spot in these rankings. Not to mention they were in desperate need of the week off to allow guys like Julio Jones to heal up.
8. Seattle Seahawks (3-2)
– Last Week: 9
A win against the Rams is actually a pretty decent result these days. The offense, and more specifically, the offensive line, continues to be an issue for the Seahawks, but with the way their defense is playing, it may not matter.
9. Detroit Lions (3-2)
– Last Week: 4
The Lions had a great chance to really announce their presence to the rest of the NFC in a home tile with a very good Panthers team, and they weren’t able to come through.
They fought back late, as they do, but weren’t able to come all the way back. The team’s defense has played really well this season. But they’re going to need to get over this last-minute heroics stuff if they’re going to be one of the elite teams in the NFL.
10. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2)
– Last Week: 5
The Steelers have had a very bad habit of playing up or down to their competition in recent years. But the one spot where that hasn’t been an issue has been at home, where they’ve beaten down all comers. That wasn’t the case this past weekend, however, as the Jaguars made Pittsburgh look like a JV squad.
