Let’s take a look in Ray Monohan’s Week 15 NFL Power Rankings.
1. Pittsburgh Steelers (11-2)
– Last Week: 4
With a meeting with the Patriots coming up, the Steelers will have an opportunity to move into the No. 1 spot both in these rankings, and in the AFC, potentially earning homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

They continue to have issues with overlooking opponents, and saving their best football for the fourth quarter, but up to this point, it’s been working for them.
2. New England Patriots (10-3)
– Last Week: 2
Beating a team twice in three weeks isn’t easy to do, and it’s even tougher when you’re travelling on the road to face a divisional opponent on Monday Night Football, without a top offensive option in Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots remain an elite team, and will have an opportunity to silence all the doubters with a pivotal matchup against the Steelers on Sunday.
3. Philadelphia Eagles (11-2)
– Last Week: 1
There’s definitely potential for the Eagles to tail off, but there are worse No. 2 quarterbacks than Nick Foles. There may even be worse starters. And there’s just so much talent on the roster. This team can compete with a strong running game and Foles acting as a game manager. The offensive line and running game, coupled with a strong defense, can weather the storm in the wide open NFC.
4. Jacksonville Jaguars (9-4)
– Last Week: 10
The Jaguars played the Seahawks on Sunday, and like their opponent does year in and year out, Jacksonville seems to be getting better as the season progresses. The team has been elite on the defensive side of the ball, and the offense is starting to catch up as Blake Bortles settles into his role. Leonard Fournette is going to be one of the next stars in the league, and he’s putting the offense on his back as this team is quickly making a lot of noise in the AFC.
5. Minnesota Vikings (10-3)
– Last Week: 5
The Vikings saw their winning streak snapped in Carolina on Sunday, but there are worse things than losing in Carolina on a day when Jonathan Stewart rushes for three touchdowns.

It’s refreshing that this result wasn’t followed by questions about whether Case Keenum will be benched. This is a team that remains in the conversation as the best in the NFC.
6. Carolina Panthers (9-4)
– Last Week: 9
It’s still tough to figure out which Panthers team will show up from week-to-week, but man are they good when they’re on. Keeping that consistency week in and week out will remain a challenge, but they’re now tied with the Saints for the best record in the NFC South, and things are looking up for them.
7. New Orleans Saints (9-4)
– Last Week: 5
Bit of a strange loss for the Saints on Thursday night as Sean Payton had a mini meltdown on the sidelines. They weren’t able to run the ball the way they have been with Alvin Kamara sidelined early in that one. The extra layoff comes at a good time as will allow Kamara to get back on the field, and everyone on the sideline to get back on the same page.
8. Los Angeles Rams (9-4)
– Last Week: 6
It’s been a really tough stretch of games for the Rams, whose offense showed it could hang with the Eagles for much of that one. We’re all gaining more and more confidence in Jared Goff as the season progresses, and Wade Phillips is surely going to have that defense ready to play next week after they gave up over 40 points to Philadelphia.
9. Seattle Seahawks (8-5)
– Last Week: 7
The Seahawks certainly didn’t put their best foot forward in Jacksonville, but maybe a loss like that will cause a stir in that locker room and motivate the team to play their best football of the season the rest of the way. Russell Wilson is impossible to count out, even when he’s on the mat. With Carson Wentz injured, Wilson is the MVP.
10. Atlanta Falcons (8-5)
– Last Week: 11
There have been some really low moments in the Falcons’ season, but they’re starting to play a lot better on offense, and they’re in the drivers’ season for the second wild card spot in the NFC, with a cupcake matchup on Monday night against the Buccaneers.
