Here are three favorites, three longshots, and three from the middle of the pack worthy of a closer look when betting on Super Bowl LII.
New England Patriots +350
The Patriots enter the season with a target on their back – which seems to be the case more often than not. In the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era, the team has five Super Bowl wins.

And they enter this season with the best roster in football, even factoring in the loss of Julian Edelman. They’re the team to beat, no question, but there’s just no value in their futures line given the public’s current opinion of them.
Green Bay Packers +1100
The Packers have one of the top two quarterbacks in football, and for that reason along they’re a perennial title contender. The weapons are there on offense to get this team out of the NFC, and the defense is good enough to hold up when tested. Another weapon or two on that side of the ball would be helpful.
Pittsburgh Steelers +1100
With all attention being paid to the Patriots, the other contender in the AFC are being overlooked, and the Steelers are at the head of that class.

With the trio of Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, and Le’Veon Bell leading the offense, Pittsburgh is the most likely opponent for the Patriots in the AFC title game. If they can break through there, they’ll likely be the favorite against any NFC team in the Super Bowl.
The play: Steelers +1100
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2500
The Bucs might just be the most improved team of the offseason. We’ve seen the team in position to take a big step forward and then fizzle out before, but this could be the year they finally make good. There are a ton of weapons in place on offense, an the defense has all the pieces in place to succeed.
Arizona Cardinals +3500
The Cardinals may very well have been the biggest disappointment of the 2016 season. After being a legitimate Super Bowl contender in 2015, Arizona fell flat on its face a year ago, but with all the key pieces in place and one of the best offensive weapons in football on the roster in David Johnson, the Cardinals could catapult right back into title contention.
Denver Broncos +4000
The Broncos have the best defense in football, and a bevy of offensive weapons at all the skill positions. Just about the only thing the team doesn’t have is a quarterback, and that’s the only reason they aren’t higher on the board alongside the Patriots as title favorites. But, the absence of an elite quarterback does leave a major void.
The play: Cardinals +3500
Los Angeles Chargers +5000
The Chargers’ offense is going to be fun to watch this season, there’s not doubt about that. The questions come on the defensive side of the ball. There are plenty of solid talents mixed into that unit, but there are some glaring holes. How that group plays out will decide the team’s playoff fate.
Minnesota Vikings +5000
The Vikings have one of the best defenses in football, and we saw that group carry the team to a strong start in the first half of last season, before injuries crept up and the team fell off. All those standout defenders are still there, and the offense hit the reset button, which should help it offer a little more consistently.
New Orleans Saints +6000
The Saints brought in a ton of new faces to refresh a defense that’s struggled mightily for the better part of a decade.

It’s tough to imagine the group taking too big a step forward, but they’ll be better, and we know what the offense is capable of.
The play: Chargers +5000
