Germany and Poland will meet in Group C action on Thursday. Both squads opened their Euro 2016 with wins and both did so without much difficulty.
Germany
The reigning World Cup champions come into this tourney as much less of a juggernaut than they were in Brazil in 2014.
The attacking contingent is still loaded with the likes of Mario Gotze, Thomas Muller, and Julian Draxler alongside midfield talisman Mesut Ozil and two very good holding midfielders in Tony Kroos and Sami Khedira.

Where this German team is a much different squad is on the back end.
Familiar mainstays in the back four Philipp Lahm and Per Mertesacker are not in this squad and the back four now consists of newcomers Shkodran Mustafi (who scored Germany’s first goal of the tournament) and Jonas Hector.
Jerome Boateng was a game saver a few times in the Germans’ 2-0 win against Ukraine in a match where the favourites did not perform well in the opening half surrendered a few quality chances to a far inferior team.
Poland
Getting out on the attack early will be integral for Poland as Germany was slow out of the blocks against Ukraine. The Polish side had an easy time against Northern Ireland, cruising to pretty pedestrian 1-0 scoreline.
That 1-0 scoreline isn’t really indicative of how one sided that match was however.
Poland controlled 65% of possession through 90 minutes and held Northern Ireland to just two attempts at goal, neither of which were on target.

Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny earned one of the easiest clean sheets of his career, but has been ruled out for the game against the Germans with a thigh injury so look for either Lukasz Fabianski or Artur Boruc in goal.
Free Germany vs. Poland Euro 2016 Prediction:
A slow start for Germany could spell problems as Poland boasts a lethal striker in Robert Lewandowski who will not spoil chances if presented with one or two.
I like Poland to find the scoreboard in this one, but come up short against a German side that just has too much big tournament experience and too many proven winners to drop a game this early.
A lack of real cutting edge going forward could spell trouble for Germany if they do find themselves behind early, but they always seem to find ways to beat Poland.
4* Free Euro 2016 Betting Pick: Germany -208
Germany’s slow start will get them behind early, but they will straighten out and find their footing taking a 1-1 tie into half time. The Germans will continue to build and run away from Poland late.
Euro 2016 Free Score Prediction: Germany 2 – 1 Poland
