Match day two in Group B kicked off on Wednesday with Slovakia earning a win over Russia, putting England in a precarious spot and in major need of a win against group leading Wales.
The Welsh got a late goal in their first match of the tournament to defeat Slovakia and could punch their ticket to the next round with a win on Thursday.
England were the victims of a late goal by Russia, forcing a draw and making this a must-win game.
Wales
A group of virtual unknowns, save for Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey, this Wales team was quite sharp in their tournament opening game against Slovakia and were boosted by a lovely free kick goal from Bale and an 81st minute winner from Hal Robson-Kanu.
The Welsh play an attack-minded 3-4-3 and despite being largely out-possessed against the Slovaks, Wales managed to out-chance their opponents, firing 11 shots towards goal with eight finding the target and two finding the back of the net.

They’ll be in tough against an England squad that is built around youth and pace and will cause all kinds of trouble on counter attacks against as the Welsh opt to play a back three.
It will be interesting to see if Wales opts to play it more conservatively as a single point in this match will put them in prime position to move on to the next round.
England
Gareth Bale excluded, England is just better man for man than Wales. There’s not really one other player on the Welsh side that would crack England’s starting 11.
This should be a win for England if they can figure out how to capitalize on their opportunities.
England were the far better side against Russia in their opening match, but a lack of finish cost them dearly and they had to settle for just a single point.
Possession numbers were shared vs the Russians but England looked much more threatening moving forward and fired 15 shots towards goal.
Unfortunately, just five of those found the target with just one solving Russian keeper Igor Aginfeev.
Manager Roy Hodgson opted for a very Tottenham Hotspur heavy lineup, playing Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Dele Ali.

Kane and Ali accounted for four shots, none of which found the target, while 24 goal scorer and league champion Jamie Vardy sat on the bench for 90 minutes. Look for Vardy to get minutes and provide a spark with his pace.
Free England vs. Wales Euro 2016 Prediction:
I don’t see any way that Wales wins this especially when there’s no real pressure on them to win. A single point would be a great result for Wales and England need a win in a big way. Look for the English to come out and attack from the jump and force Wales into playing wide open.
