A strong field including some top 10 in the World Golf Rankings will tee it up on the beautiful Sedgefield Country Club.

Every aspect of a player’s game will be tested this week – length and accuracy will be important for sure. Accuracy will out do the length on this course but everything will be brought when playing this week.
Intimidating green-side bunkers and tree-lined fairways make it so – those that are strong off the tee, are good with their short irons and basically have strong tee-to-green games will likely get it done this week.
With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an eye on this week?
Let’s break it down.
2017 Wyndham Championship Favorites:
Henrik Stenson +1200
Henrik Stenson is a very competitive golfer at every tournament it feels like. He is number eight in the world and deserves that rightfully given that he has a runner-up finish in the FedEx cup.

Not only that he is the 2016 champion of The Open which is always a nice title to have under your belt. He comes in as a late runner into this tournament to get his minimum of 15 tournaments, but I do not believe that this will harm his game in anyway.
Kevin Kisner + 1400
Kevin has been playing very nicely lately. Last week he almost won his first major tournament which means he’s finally getting a hold of his nerves while still playing incredible golf.
He could be playing the best golf that he has ever been playing and he loves this course having a top 10 in it last year. Kevin’s game is set up very nicely for this course and I believe that’s why he got his top 10 last year.
With him being more mature and better than he was last year look for him to be up there going into Sunday.
Webb Simpson +2500
Web Simpson is being priced at 25 to 1 odds. This is very surprising to me because he also plays very well at this course. He has a few top tens this year and has plenty of top tens while playing at this course.
Not only did he get all of these top 10 finishes at Sedgefield but six years ago actually won the tournament by three strokes. This a very good pick for the odds.
2017 Wyndham Championship Contenders:
Kevin Streelman +5000
My first contender I’m looking at is Kevin Streelman. Kevin started off the year pretty hot and started to slow down as the year went on.
His last four starts he had gotten 44th, 29th, 17th and 8th. Streelman has been around the PGA for a while and knows how to get it from a cool streak to a hot streak real quick.
With his odds, it might be worth taking a look at for him to come out on top.
Graeme Mcdowell +6600
My next contender is Graeme McDowell. Although Grant has been playing the best I believe his odds are much better than 66/1.
He has been a winner around the PGA and knows how to get it done. He has missed three of his last four cuts but got 19th in the Scottish open.
[dfads params=’groups=247&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
If he can get his game back to that and make a few putts, who knows where we could see him. He also got fifth in this tournament last year which is even more of a reason to pick him.
James Hahn +3300
My last contender will have to be James Hahn. He hasn’t missed a cut in his last for tournaments and has three top 20’s, one being in the top 10.
This means that he’s been playing well just hasn’t got enough to get it done yet. Since he’s been playing so solidly he’s going to have to get a win at some point.
That win might as well be at Sedgefield country club.
2017 Wyndham Championship Sleeper (+5000 or higher):
Daniel Summerhays +8000
My sleeper pick is Daniel Summerhays.
Although he isn’t at the top on the list for PGA betting odds it isn’t a bad pick. His name popped up a lot on the leader-board last year so I think that he could pull one out if he gets a taste of how he was playing last year.
2017 Wyndham Championship Picks:
My pick is Webb Simpson +2500. He loves playing this tournament as i wrote before, it is hard not to see him win this one.
