The East Lake Golf Club is a course located about five miles away from Downtown Atlanta, and it has some breathtaking views all over the course.
This is a course that has a lot of water, and the guys playing this weekend really need to play some holes very carefully or it could mean their chances at the championship could drown in the water.

With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an extra eye on this week? Let’s break it down.
2017 Tour Championship Favorites:
Jordan Spieth 19/4
It’s really no surprise to see Jordan Speith coming into this tournament as the favorite to win, and if he were to win the Tour Championship, he would also win the FedEx Cup as he is currently first in the points.
In the first three legs of the playoff he has done well, but hasn’t gotten that win that he wants yet. So far in the playoffs he has a seventh place finish and two second place finishes.
I am sure he will be in contention this weekend and will probably finish near the top, but at this price the value isn’t that high.
Dustin Johnson 29/4
Just like he has been all playoffs Dustin Johnson has been either the favorite, or the second best odds to win the tournament.
Even though he comes into this tournament in second place for the Fed Ex Cup Standings, he has really struggled as of late.
Last weekend at the BMW Championships he finished at -8 but a lot of players were a lot lower finishing tied for 33rd place.
He has had a little bit of issues with his putting the last couple of tournaments and that has really hurt his position.
2017 Tour Championship Contenders:
Justin Rose 12/1
Justin Rose seems to be getting hot at the right time, and he has had a lot of success at this course in the years past.
Over his last four starts at the East Lake Golf Club he has finished no worse then tied for sixth place.
He also had a really good showing at the BMW Championship finishing in second place, and had a really nice Sunday score.
He has the momentum rolling in his favor coming into this tournament.
Paul Casey 18/1
Another guy that has had a lot of success at this course is Paul Casey.

In his last three starts here he hasn’t finished worse then tied for fifth place. The only downfall for him if you are betting on Casey is he hasn’t won an even on tour since 2009.
2017 BMW Championship Sleeper (75/1 or higher):
Jason Dufner 80/1
Jason Dufner hasn’t had the best season, but he comes into this last tournament of the year without much pressure and that could be a a really good thing for him.
He historically has done better when the pressure is off of him, and not many are expecting much from him.
2017 Tour Championship Picks:
The guy I do really like is – Justin Rose at 12/1 to have a nice tournament and end up on top on Sunday Afternoon.
He likes playing at this course and has had success and I think that will be the case again in this one. I think he will have a convincing Sunday and that will lead to a victory.
