With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an extra eye on this week? Let’s break it down.
2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open Favorites:
Tony Finau 14/1
With not a lot of huge names in this tournament, Tony Finau comes into this with the best chance to win the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at 14/1.
He has been playing decent coming into this tournament finishing tied for 11th last weekend. He has had some trouble playing consistently though.
Although he might win, at this price, I would probably stay away from him. There are a lot better values down the field.
Webb Simpson 18/1
Web Simpson comes into this tournament off a nice little break, and is tied with the second best odds to win this title.
His last tournament played was the Safeway Open which was early in September, a tournament in which he placed tied for 17th.
He is getting a lot of hype coming into this one, and has been playing pretty consistently before taking his little break.
2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children Contenders:
Ryan Moore 28/1
Ryan Moore has a few things going for him coming into this tournament. He used to golf at UNLV so he knows this course well, and he is a former championship here.
Although he has slipped out of the top 50 in PGA Tour Standings, he is a guy I would take a good long hard look at before playing bets.
Charlie Hoffman 33/1
Now I am not sure how much of a chance that Charlie Hoffman has to win this tournament, but he might be the good story of the week.

He has said he will donate whatever he wins from this tournament to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting. He should be a fan favorite because of this and I would expect him to have at least some success in this tournament.
This is also a pretty weak field, so if he gets hot. he has a really nice chance.
2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open Sleeper (70/1 or higher):
Geoff Ogilvy 100/1
If you are looking for a sleeper this is your guy.
He finished this tournament last year tied fourth, and although he has struggled a bit this year, he knows how to have success here.
2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open Picks:
The guy I do really like is – Ryan Moore to have a nice tournament and end up on top on Sunday Afternoon.
This is a home course for him basically, and he has won here before. He will have some success here and end with a victory.
