The Liberty National Golf Club is one of the most expensive golf clubs ever built, and includes a 350 million dollar club house that was designed after the Sydney Opera House.
The views on this course are breathtaking including views of New York and the Statute of Liberty. But the course is a pretty easy course, and should feature a lot of low scoring.

With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an extra eye on this week? Let’s break it down.
2017 United States Presidents Cup Golfers
Dustin Johnson
This will be Dustin Johnson’s third appearance in the Presidents Cup. Overall in his matches he has a record of 4-4-1.
He has really done well in foursomes finishing 3-0-1, but struggled in four ball finishing 0-3-0. Look for him to not play much in four ball this weekend.
Jordan Speith
Like Johnson Jordan Speith will also be making his third appearance in the Presidents Cup, and a lot like Johnson he has done well in foursomes having a record of 3-0-1.
His big struggle has been singles on Sunday finishing with an 0-2 record. Sunday is going to be a big day for the competition so they need him to get a win in the singles.
Ricky Fowler
Ricky Fowler is back on the team after having some real struggles in 2015. He finished with a 1-3 record in 2015 with his only win coming in foursomes.
He did well in the last Ryder Cup though, and they will look for him to use that momentum to have some success in this game tournament.
Patrick Reed
Everyone remembers Patrick Reed’s classic battle at the last Ryder Cup and if anything else he is probably going to bring a lot of energy to this tournament.
In his only Presidents Cup appearance in 2015 he finished with a 1-2-1 record.
2017 International Presidents Cup Golfers
Hideki Matsuyama
If the International team wants any chance to pull the big upset, Hideki Matsuyama is going to have to have a very special weekend.
This will be his third appearance in the Presidents cup and he has a record of 3-4-2. He hasn’t really stood out in any of the competitions, but the only one he has a losing record in is foursomes.
Adam Scott
The longest tenured golfer on the international team is Adam Scott from Australia who will be making his eight appearance in the Presidents Cup.
With all those appearances he actually has a losing record of 13-17-5. His only winning record comes on Sunday in the singles in which he is 4-3.

They are going to need him to do better in the first couple of days, if they want to come out ahead in this tournament.
Jason Day
Jason Day is making his third appearance for the International team in the Presidents cup.
He has always done good in day one, but has really struggled in the foursomes and singles finishing with only one win in seven matches.
2017 Presidents Cup Picks:
The United States are pretty big favorites at -330 and for good reason. The top to bottom of their roster is filled with stars and I expect they will have a lot of success.
I think the biggest strength for them will be in the singles match up on Sunday, and that will lead them to victory.
