There seems to be value on both sides when the Golden Knights and Blues meet up Monday in St. Louis. The Blues obviously look nice at -125 considering they are playing on their own ice, where they are 20-15-1 this year.
There’s also a very solid payout on Vegas (+104) especially since they have gone 10-2 over their last 12. That also includes wins in 4 of 5 road games to put the Knights 19-17-1 away from T-Mobile on the season.
Vegas Golden Knights
Vegas could get a huge edge in the return of Marc-Andre Fleury who has been upgraded to probable for Monday night’s contest. The veteran goaltender hasn’t started in 10 days due to a lower body injury.
Fleury had allowed just 5 goals total in his last 6 starts but then again the Golden Knights could use caution with him and go with Malcolm Subban in this one. Subban had a SO 4 days ago vs. Winnipeg so he’s more than able for the task.

Another angle to look at in this one is that the Golden Knights don’t have a whole lot to play for except playoff seeding. Vegas is in 3rd in the Pacific, but comfortably ahead in the wild card race with an 8 point buffer with 7 games to play.
St. Louis Blues
The Blues are in a similar boat as their 88 points is good enough for 3rd in the Central but with a 6 game lead on the wild card.
St. Louis does have some nice momentum going as they head towards the playoffs. The Blues have won three straight, all at home, and includes a 4-3 win over President’s Cup winner Tampa Bay on Saturday.

The Blues have netted 16 goals in their three game home stand which is making Monday’s ‘over’ of 5.5 look like a solid play, especially if Subban gets the nod in net for Vegas.
Between the pipes for St. Louis will be Jake Allen. He’s started sparingly in net as Jordan Binnington has come into his own with a 20-4-1 record on the year. Allen hasn’t made a home start since early January so it will be interesting to see what he brings in this one.
NHL Betting Trends:
- Golden Knights are 10-2 their last 12 overall
- Golden Knights are 4-1 their last 5 road games
- Blues are 4-1 their last 5 overall
- Home team is 4-1 the last 5 H2H meetings
4* Free NHL Betting Pick: Over 5.5
St. Louis has their offense clicking right now and should be good for 4+ goals, especially if Subban ends up getting the start for Vegas. The Golden Knights should also produce solid offense vs. Allen.
