It’s win or go home time as game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals comes your way as the Dallas Stars face off against the St. Louis Blues, live from the Enterprise Center. St. Louis will be looking for just their third win on home ice in these playoffs and hope to send the Stars packing.
Dallas Stars
With a chance to finish off the Blues in front of their home crowd on Sunday, the Stars came out and looked less than impressive, to say the least. Now it will be up to them to finish this off on the road, which hasn’t really been a problem for them in these playoffs so far. The biggest question for Dallas will be whether or not Ben Bishop will be 100% or not on Tuesday.

Bishop departed Sunday’s game after giving up two goals in very short succession, but was pulled for an upper body injury. He has been given the nod to start game 7, but if he isn’t looking like himself early, head coach Jim Montgomery can’t be stubborn and will have to pull him at the first sign of distress. Dallas can’t afford another meltdown like they had in game 6.
St. Louis Blues
The Blues came out fighting and saved themselves for another day after winning their 5th road game of these playoffs. Now comes the hard part though, winning a close out game on their home ice. The Blues lit up Ben Bishop and the Stars for four goals for the second time in this series in game six, and will look to do the same thing again here on Tuesday night.

Jordon Binnington didn’t face a whole lot of shots in game 6, but he was still huge in net for his team, saving 22 of the 23 Dallas shots he faced. Don’t expect another easy night for the goaltender on Tuesday though, as the Stars should come out firing and will no doubt keep the pressure on the goalie all night long.

Free Dallas Stars vs. St. Louis Blues NHL Prediction:
It all comes down to this, and for the Stars they had better hope that their goalie is in better shape in this game, or their season is over. For the Blues, they need to put the demons of playing at home in the back of their minds and just come out and play their style of hockey if they want to move on. Goaltending will be key in this game 7.
Take the Stars to win this game on the road and move on to face either San Jose or Colorado for their chance to get back to the Stanley Cup Finals. Look for Ben Bishop to have a bounce back game and completely shut down the Blues scorers.
