Montreal just keeps on rolling as they are now 4-0-2 over their last 6. They’ve been the most impressive team by far earlier on in this season.
Colorado
Colorado has endured a lot of early season struggles, but are finally get some results as they come in winners of 2 straight and look to make it 3 in a row on Saturday.
Colorado knocked off Philadelphia 4-0 on Tuesday and then dug themselves out of an early 2-0 deficit on Thursday against Boston to secure a 3-2 win.
Things may be a bit tougher on them as Captain Gabriel Landeskog may miss Saturday’s matchup with Montreal.

The Avs captain was ejected in Thursday’s win for an illegal hit to the head and is expected to be handed some sort of suspension prior to Saturday’s contest.
Matt Duchene continues to flourish for the Avs as he put the game winning goal in against Boston on Thursday and is having quite the season thus far. Duchene has tallied 7 goals and 4 assists for 11 points to this point.
Montreal
The Canadiens are winning without goalie Carey Price in goal and that is a scary sight to see for the opposition.
Montreal is 4-0-2 over their last 6 and will more than likely be without Price for at least 2 more games.

With Price out, G Mike Condon continues to dominate. He’s got a GAA of just 1.81 over the last 6 starts, but failed to hold onto a Canadiens 3rd period lead as they eventually fell in a shootout 4-3. Condon conceded the game tying goal with just over 6 minutes to play and then failed in the shootout as he allowed Pittsburgh to tap in both goals.
Montreal will welcome the sight of being back home as they’ve simply dominated there. They bring in a record of 7-0-1-0 and are scoring 3.62 goals for while conceding only 1.25.
