Many though the Ravens would be legit playoff contenders this season, but that simply has not happened, as they are a 2-win team that is coming off a loss to the Jaguars no less.
They are a 1.5-point home betting favorite facing a Rams’ team that has lost 2 straight games and may need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
In their last games the Rams lost to the Chicago Bears 37-13 and the Ravens lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 22-20.

On the season the Ravens are 1-3 at home and the Rams are 1-3 on the road.
St. Louis Rams
The Rams have RB Todd Gurley and after rushing for at least 128 yards in 4 straight games he has been bottled up as of late. He needs help from a passing offense, led by Nick Foles, which is one of the worst in the league in terms of production. Foles have a less than stellar WR corps and he has only passed for 1 TD in his last 4 games.
Baltimore’s strength thins season has been their run defense, which ranks 9th in the league while their pass defense only ranks 25th.

Foles ranks 29th in the league in QB rating and he will have his chances this Sunday facing a struggling Baltimore secondary.
Baltimore Ravens
Ravens QB Joe Flacco passed for 316 yards in the loss to the Jaguars and he has some solid targets, but he has to limit his mistakes. In the Jags game he lost a fumble and had 2 INT. He will need help from his offensive line facing a Rams’ pass rush that ranks 2nd in the NFL in sacks.
RB Justin Forsett was one of the surprises of last season, but this season he has not played well and in his last 4 games he has failed to rush for over 70 yards.
The Rams’ defense has been pretty good on the season, ranking 5th in pass defense and 17th in run defense, but they were far from solid in giving up 37 points to the Bears in their last game.

Wow the Ravens have not covered the spread in their last 7 home games. Well, going to buck that trend, as I think Flacco will have a good game and Baltimore will win and cover.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Baltimore 27 – St. Louis 24
The Ravens will get their 3rd win of the season and send the Rams to their 3rd loss in a row.
