The Pittsburgh Steelers were crushed on the road by the Patriots. The Seahawks barely got past a pretty bad Bengals team, despite being at home in Week 1.
Now Seattle goes on the road, where it is a small underdog against the Steelers, who can’t lose this one and still feel good about their season after just two weeks. It all adds up to a resounding Steelers’ cover in my opinion.
Seattle Seahawks
Seattle was down 17–14 in the fourth quarter. Then Russell Wilson connected with Tyler Lockett for a 44-yard game-winning touchdown on the first play of the final quarter.

Cincinnati would go on to tack on a field goal but the ‘Hawks won it, 21–20. Wilson finished 14 of 20 for 196 and two touchdowns.
Chris Carson caught a team-high six balls and DK Metcalf led the corps in yardage with 89 yards in his first NFL regular season game. Lockett had just two targets and the one catch but it was a big one.
Seattle’s offense looked a little less octane than usual. The running game never got going and Wilson didn’t get many shots down the field before the Lockett strike.
They should, however, find some more space against the Steelers than they did against Cincinnati, which was playing inspired for its new Head Coach, Zach Taylor.
Jadeveon Clowney had just one tackle in limited time in his first game with Seattle. Ziggy Ansah ultimately didn’t play after being listed as questionable with a shoulder injury.
Seattle hopes to have him back for this game and should expect even more from Clowney as he gets integrated following that trade just before the start of the season.

Tight end Will Dissly left the game with a knee injury but he’s just day-to-day. I would expect him to be back in the lineup for this one.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Little went right for Pittsburgh in its 33–3 loss at Gillette Stadium. Tom Brady often times stood tall in the pocket and other times had little trouble avoiding the Pittsburgh pass rush. He finished with 341 yards and three touchdowns.
Ben Roethlisberger, however, missed 20 throws and threw a pick. Of course, he failed to lead a touchdown drive, much less throw for one himself.
Juju Smith-Schuster was fairly quiet with six catches for 78 yards. That’s a quiet game for him. Vance MacDonald wasn’t a factor in the game and only collected his two catches at the end of garbage time.
In the running game, James Conner ran just 10 times for 21 yards. He caught four balls for 44 yards. Devin Bush, the rookie middle linebacker, led the team with seven tackles, as he was expected to do.
The Steelers also lost two key players to injuries late. Center Maurkice Pouncey left the game with a leg injury and TJ Watt couldn’t finish after a hip problem.
Sunday Week 2 #NFL betting action we get the Seattle #Seahawks vs. Pittsburgh #Steelers. Line opened with the Steelers a -3 favorite and the O/U at 46.5. Most books have it at Steelers -4 now, and O/U at 46.5. What say you NFL Bettors?

Now, it was a lopsided game late so there was no point sending a hurt player back into the game but those are two key names that must be watched as the week goes on.
Smith-Schuster also hurt his toe and left the game but x-rays came back negative and he’s expected to be fine.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Pittsburgh wins, covers.
Week 2 is all about those bounce back spots and I believe this to be one of them. Pittsburgh’s offense is just too good not to perform a whole lot better than it did in New England.
I’m looking for big fantasy days out of Smith-Schuster and Conner and perhaps even Donte Moncrief, who caught three balls for seven measly yards in his Pittsburgh debut.
I also like both teams to score at least 24 and Pittsburgh to get even more than that in a game that should fly over.
