So where does your favorite stand heading into Week 13? Let’s take a look in Dave B’s Week 13 NFL Power Rankings.
1. Dallas Cowboys (10-1)
– Last Week: 1
You don’t have to be a Dallas fan to appreciate what is going on in Cowboys land – two rookies continue to propel this team to elite, almost-legendary status. The pressure and scope of their achievements isn’t getting to Dak Prescott or Zeke Elliot – neither looks like a rookie right now. The lack of a pass rush and some injuries on the defensive side of the ball raise a few red flags but not enough to bump Dallas from #1.
2. New England Patriots (9-2)
– Last Week: 2
It took a while for the Pats to get going on Sunday against the Jets but once they did there was no denying this team the win. Rob Gronkowski left with injury, Tom Brady is banged up and still this team found a way to win on the road against a huge nemesis.

The Pats still look like the team to beat in the AFC – an easy #2 this week.
3. Oakland Raiders (9-2)
– Last Week: 4
Wow! The Raiders seem to be inventing new ways to win each and every week – this time it was against the Panthers. Derek Carr is officially the next NFL Superstar – he overcame a nasty looking hand injury to guide his team to victory Sunday. Quietly this team has nine wins on the year and looks awfully deserving of a home playoff game this year.
4. Kansas City Chiefs (8-3)
– Last Week: 8
Too high? Consider that the Chiefs went on the road to Denver and moved the ball against one of the most formidable defenses in the game on Sunday. Justin Houston’s presence in the lineup makes this team extremely dangerous going forward. KC isn’t the sexiest team in the land but they are definitely opening their share of eyes – mine included.
5. Seattle Seahawks (7-3-1)
– Last Week: 3
The Seahawks delivered a Dud on Sunday in Tampa Bay against a Bucs team that is certainly up-and-coming. The O-line was brutal and the defense was somewhat leaky – both units were missing some key starters.

Seattle is a bit tough to figure out right now – when they get some of their key starters back (which should be this week) we will have a better understanding of just who the Seahawks are.
6. New York Giants (8-3)
– Last Week: 6
The Giants have now won six straight games! They hold steady in the Rankings mostly because it was the hapless Browns that they beat in Week 12. Of concern is the fact that the running game struggled on Sunday and that Eli Manning looked pedestrian for most of the game. On the other hand Odell Beckham was a Stud yet again and looks like the most dangerous player in the world.
7. Denver Broncos (7-4)
– Last Week: 5
If I would have told you that Trevor Siemian threw for over 300 yards with 3 TDs and zero interceptions at home you would have handed them the win – right? Wrong. Denver was on the wrong end of one of the best games of the year Sunday – they played well against KC but just not quite well enough. Still, with a defense like theirs however, the Broncos still loom as a threat in the AFC.
8. Atlanta Falcons (7-4)
– Last Week: 9
The Falcons made it look pretty easy Sunday against one of the best defenses in the league – Arizona. Their offense was as advertized and their defense was effective against Carson palmer and company. They have now won three of their last four games with victories over the Packers, Bucs and Cardinals and when you can put up points like they do you have to like their chances to remain relevant in the NFC picture.
9. Detroit Lions (7-4)
– Last Week: 10
The Lions are playing some inspired ball right now – Matt Stafford has this team marching toward a playoff berth. Who would have thought that the deletion of Calvin Johnson would have made this team better?
10. Miami Dolphins (7-4)
– Last Week: 12
The Dolphins have now won six straight games! Their recent competition hasn’t exactly been elite but the fact that this team is winning with a balanced lineup is enough to propel them into the top 10. Ryan Tannehill has avoided mistakes, Jay Ajayi has been terrific and the defense has started to play to their immense potential. Miami is a sneaky threat – a date against the Ravens in Week 13 will tell us a lot about them!
11. Washington Redskins (6-4-1)
– Last Week: 7
Despite losing to the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, the Redskins still did some good things indeed.

Kirk Cousins and company look mighty dangerous offensively and the defense is decent as well. Washington gave Dallas quite a scare on Thanksgiving and are still worthy of a spot in the dirty dozen.
12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-5)
– Last Week: 19
The Bucs are definitely coming on! After a good win at Arrowhead in Week 11, Tampa came back to outclass a banged up Seattle team at home. Mike Evans has been a difference maker as has a defense that has become one of the more feared in the game – they held Seattle’s offense to five points on Sunday – impressive!
13. Baltimore Ravens (6-5) – Last Week: 13
14. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) – Last Week: 14
15. Green Bay Packers (5-6) – Last Week: 23
16. Minnesota Vikings (6-5) – Last Week: 15
17. Buffalo Bills (6-5) – Last Week: 21
18. Tennessee Titans (6-6) – Last Week: 20
19. Houston Texans (6-5) – Last Week: 11
20. New Orleans Saints (5-6) – Last Week: 22
21. San Diego Chargers (5-6) – Last Week: 24
22. Philadelphia Eagles (5-6) – Last Week: 16
23. Indianapolis Colts (5-6) – Last Week: 18
24. Arizona Cardinals (4-6-1) – Last Week: 17
25. Carolina Panthers (4-7) – Last Week: 25
26. Cincinnati Bengals (3-7-1) – Last Week: 26
27. Los Angeles Rams (4-7) – Last Week: 27
28. New York Jets (3-8) – Last Week: 29
29 Chicago Bears (2-9) – Last Week: 28
30. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9) – Last Week: 30
31. San Francisco 49ers (1-10) – Last Week: 31
32. Cleveland Browns (0-12) – Last Week: 32
