The NFC East clashes on Sunday afternoon as the Washington Redskins welcome in the New York Giants for a divisional showdown.
The Giants come in leaders of the division at 5-5, but have everybody else right on their heels.

The Redskins and Eagles sit at 4-6 and the Cowboys are right behind them at 3-7.
New York
The Giants look to get over the .500 mark here on Sunday and also create a little distance from the rest of the pack. With their track record against the Redskins, that may be a very likely outcome here.
New York has dominated the head-to-head matchups with Washington as they’ve won 5 in a row.
One of those wins came earlier this season with the Giants winning 32-21.

The Giants do however come into this one reeling a bit as they’ve dropped 2 of their last 3 games. Even though they currently lead the division, it is highly unlikely a team from the NFC East will grab a Wild Card spot. That means the Giants will need to win their division or miss out on the playoffs for a 4th straight season.
The key for New York here will be pass defense. They rank last in the NFL with 309.9 yards conceded per game.
Washington
The Redskins can jump into a tie for first place with a win here on Sunday, but they have put themselves at the center of a controversy with the refs.
Defensive end Jason Hatcher called out the officiating saying they make more calls against the Redskins because of their refusal to drop the logo. One instance Hatcher recalled was the pick 6 that was called back against Carolina last week.
Had that play stood, the Redskins would have taken a 21-14 lead into the half.

The good news for the 4-6 Redskins is that they return home for this pivotal game. Washington dropped their season opener to Miami here, but have since turned things around.
They’ve rattled off 4 straight wins and are allowing just 18.2 points per game.
TE Jordan Reed and RB Alfred Morris both remain questionable for Sunday’s contest.
