The New York Giants travel to the Big Easy to take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday as both teams look to notch another victory on the season.
While the Giants barely took care of the Dallas Cowboys at home in Week 7, the Saints gave the Colts more than they could handle with a convicning 27-21 win in Indianapolis.

New York Giants
The Giants knocked off the Cowboys at home to take a hold on the division lead in the NFC East, but it took an entire 60 minutes to beat a team that started Matt Cassel at quarterback.
The Giants are 4-3, but they are mediocre at best. They were also abysmal in their last road game where they were shellacked 27-7 by the Philadelphia Eagles. In three road games this season, New York is averaging just 280 yards and 19 points per game.

New York has had a difficult time rushing the ball as well. The Giants have the 25th-best rushing attack in the NFL, and they are bottom-10 in the league in yards per play allowed, as well as passing yards allowed.
This is a winnable game for the Giants, but they’ll have to face a hot New Orleans Saints team that is starting to find its way.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints are coming off two impressive wins against the Atlanta Falcons and the Indianapolis Colts respectively, and they controlled both of those games the entire time.
After a rough start to the season, the Saints are now 3-4 and looking for their third-straight win of the season.
No longer living and dying through Drew Brees, the Saints have found balance with a rushing attack that has seen running back Mark Ingram average 4.4 yards per carry to go along with 5 touchdowns.
The Saints have also played much better at home this season. Over their last three home games, New Orleans has averaged 382 yards and 25 points per game.

The Saints’ defense is still near the bottom of the league, but they’ve tamed Matt Ryan and Andrew Luck respectively, and now they’ll welcome the turnover-prone Eli Manning to the Superdome.
NFL Betting Trends:
- The total has gone OVER in 6 of the Giants’ last 9 games.
- Giants are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games.
- Saints are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games.
- Saints are 4-2 ATS in their last 6 games against the Giants.
- Saints are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Saints -3.5
The Saints have played quality, well-rounded football during the last two weeks, and I look for that to continue against a New York team is highly overrated.
The Giants gave up more than 200 yards on the ground against Dallas in Week 6, and they could’ve just as easily lost that game had Cole Beasley not fumbled away a punt with less than 2 minutes to go.
NFL Free Score Prediction: New Orleans 29 – New York 24
The Saints get back to the .500 mark after owning the ground game against a Giants team that’s been torched in that department over the last few weeks.
