A pair of 0-1 teams both look to rebound on Thursday night as the New York Jets head into Buffalo to take on the Bills.
New York fell at home to Cincinnati Week 1, while the Bills couldn’t produce any sort of offense in Baltimore.
New York Jets
The Jets bounced back and forth all afternoon long with the Bengals, but a late field goal sent them to 0-1 to start their campaign off.
New York saw many impressive things in Week 1, but their defense was not one of them. They were picked apart for 324 yards through the air, as AJ Green did pretty much whatever he wanted the entire afternoon.

One encouraging defensive aspect was how they slowed down the run game.
Holding the Jets to just 57 yards, they never allowed any momentum changing big runs or did they allow any of the Bengals backs to get big chunks of yardage.

Offensively, Ryan Fitzpatrick did everything he could, but managed just 189 yards. However, he did throw a pair of touchdowns.
Look for the Jets to open the playbook a little bit more here in Week 2, as they were very conservative with Fitzpatrick. His leading receiver was RB Matt Forte, as the Jets ran a lot of check downs.
It was evident they wanted to get Forte plenty of touches, as he did. He compiled 5 receptions on 7 targets, while rushing the ball 22 times for 96 yards.
Buffalo Bills
The Bills meanwhile, couldn’t generate anything offensively.
They were held to just 160 total yards of offense, which was by far the worst in the NFL Week 1. Buffalo had just 95 through the air and 65 on the ground.
The scene was ugly all around, as they managed just 11 first downs as well.
Buffalo will need to open their playbook a little more too here in Week 2, as they were very conservative like the Jets were.
LeSean McCoy was the leading rusher as he put up 58 of the 65 yards and added the lone touchdown. Look for him to get a lot more touches here in Week 2, both on the ground and through the air.

As for QB Tyrod Taylor, getting out of the pocket and using his feet could be a factor here.
He looked unsettled all afternoon long as the Ravens put plenty of pressure on him.
Expect similar things here, especially given how the Jets need to change their defensive strategy from Week 1 where they gave Dalton all day to throw.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Jets +2.5
This one is going to be close either way. The Jets did look much better offensively in Week 1 and with a few defensive adjustments, they should make things very difficult on Tyrod Taylor here in Week 2.
