Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints travel to Tampa Bay to take on division rivals, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This Sunday morning kickoff is set for 10:00 AM in Tampa Bay, with Jameis Winston under center for the Buccaneers, who will look to build on their 7-5 record in a tight battle for a playoff spot.
The Bucs are coming off of a big 28-21 win against San Diego, which moved them into a tie with Atlanta for tops of the division at 7-5 each.
New Orleans Saints
New Orleans enters the game on the heels of a tough loss at home, where they fell to Detroit 28-13. In a very rare scenario, Drew Brees failed to throw a touchdown pass at home for the first time in 61 games.

Brees has had a solid season on the stat sheet this year, throwing for a total of 3,913 yards and a 30:11 TD:INT rate. His total passing years lead the NFL, sitting an even 100 ahead of the second place, Matt Ryan.
His total QBR sits at 73.5, which is good for the 6th best rating this season.
The Saints, while not having any one go-to receiver, but have a group of three young and talented ones. Brandin Cooks, Michael Thomas and
Willie Snead are all a large part of their offense and each have gathered over 630 yards.

The Saints’ running backs are also both highly involved, with Mark Ingram leading yardage with 758 on 143 attempts, and Tim Hightower producing 422 on 105 of his own.
While New Orleans defense has an improved lineup upon recent seasons, they are still allowing 27.9 points per game, which ranks 30th overall, and have given up 4497 yards total, which ranks 26th overall.
Simply put, they need to invest in their defense for next season if they want to contend.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay enters the Sunday morning game with a .7-5 record and are in the midst of a tight battle for a playoff seed. Six teams in the NFC sit within one game of one another in their respective records.
Jameis Winston, still just 22 years old, has set the record for the most passing yards before the age of 23.
He is already the emotional leader of the team and continues to develop into the QB that Tampa expected when investing the 1st overall selection in him in 2015.
On the year,Winston has thrown for 3,180 yards and 23 TDs, with a 90.0 passer rating.
Wideout Mike Evans was selected with Tampa’s top pick in 2014, and has clearly enjoyed life with Winston at the helm.
Evans has been one of, if not the, top receiver in the league this season and it main target in Tampa He’s recorded 1,058 yards and 10 TDs on the season on 76 receptions.

The Bucs’ defense has been average this season, sitting 19th overall in points per game allowed at 23.8.
After a season where Tampa’s defense ranked 10th in total yards allowed at 5,446, they currently sit in 22nd with a mark of 4,392 this year.
NFL Betting Trends:
- Despite their 7-5 record, Tampa Bay has a -8 point differential
- Mike Evans is currently tied for 8th in TDs this year with 10
- The Saints are 3-4 on the road this year
- The Buccaneers are 2-4 at home this season
- Drew Brees leads the NFL in passing yards on the season with 3,913
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Over 51.0
Both of these defenses rank amongst the bottom 1/3rd of the league in total yards allowed.
While New Orleans is coming off of a game where Brees failed to throw a TD, look for a redemption game for his team who need to win out if there even want a small chance at the playoffs.
NFL Free Score Prediction: New Orleans-24 Tampa Bay-28
I think this is a tough game to call, as both teams have a losing record in their respective home or away splits here. However, I do like the over with both defenses allowing high point totals and each offense sitting amongst the top half in points per game scored.
