The Saints enjoyed their bye week after throttling the Redskins on Monday Night Football a week ago. They’ll come into this game rested and prepared for a stingy Ravens defense.

Baltimore as had all sorts of dominant defensive teams in the recent past but none of them ever sacked the quarterback eleven times in a game like the 2018 team did on Sunday against Tennessee.
The Ravens are slight favorites because of the home-field advantage.
New Orleans Saints
For New Orleans, two skill position players were enough. Michael Thomas is, statistically at least, the best receiver in the NFL and Alvin Kamara is lightning in a bottle; we all know that.
But now Mark Ingram is back in the mix after his four-game suspension. He was making plays all over the field against Washington a week ago (16 carries, 2 touchdowns) and should only be involved more in the offense after the bye week following his debut.

Drew Brees became the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards in that historic Monday Night Broadcast, too. He’s going to put some distance between himself and Brett Favre with the rest of this season and, who knows, even beyond.
Tre’Qann Smith took Ted Ginn’s spot in the offense and responded with three catches for 111 yards and two long touchdowns. The Saints might not need more than Thomas and Kamara, but they’ve got some extra.
I get it, it’s hard to make a team like the Ravens a home underdog, but it sure is tough to justify making New Orleans a ‘dog in a game like this, too. Plus, two-and-a-half points are not insignificant in today’s age of the more difficult extra point.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens not only sacked Tennessee eleven times on Sunday, they didn’t allow a point and limited the Titans to just over 50 rushing yards. No Tennessee receiver had more than 33 yards receiving.
Alex Collins controlled the game on the ground for Baltimore and scored twice. I still think he’s the Ravens’ best running back, though they are better with more than one option back there.
Michael Crabtree had his best game as a Raven, scoring a touchdown among his six catches for 93 yards.

All Baltimore had to do was score one touchdown in each of the first three quarters before coasting in the fourth. The defense was about as dominant as it gets but this is Tennessee’s offense we’re talking about, which can’t get much more different than who’s coming in this week.
