The Patriots and Jets are set to face off in week six.
New England will play in their first AFC East division game of the season against the Jets this week.

The Jets are looking are looking for their third win in a row, but will have their hand full this week at home against rival New England.
The last time the Patriots and Jets got together, New York was destroyed in New England, 41-3. The Patriots swept last seasons series, 2-0.
New England Patriots
The New England Partiots have been under fire a lot so far this year. With expectations at the highest they have been for New England, the team has played underwhelming so far.
New England does have a winning record this season, sitting at 3-2, but the wins have been hard to come by.
New England should be well rested. They are coming off a Thursday night win last week on the road against the Buccaneers. The Patriots were on a short week and won, 19-14.
Quarterback Tom Brady played like the great quarterback he is down the stretch. He was 30 of 40 for 303 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the win.
Brandin Cooks led the Patriots receivers with five catches for 85 yards. Chris Hogan had eight catches for 74 yards and one touchdown.

Defensively, the media was destroying the New England defense, and rightfully so. The Patriots secondary has looked suspect throughout the first quarter of the year.
They were suspect again in the win against Tampa Bay. The defense allowed 409 yards of total offense, but only allowed 14 points. The secondary gave up 334 yards passing and one touchdown to Jameis Winston.
The New England defense still needs a ton of work. Expect them to play better this week on an extended rest. Look for the New England secondary to step up in this game.
New York Jets
The New York Jets are sitting at 3-2. If anyone said the Jets would be above .500 through the first quarter of the season besides the Jets players, they would be considered liars.
New York got another hard fought win last week. This time the win came against the 0-5 Browns, 17-14. Quarterback Josh McCown did a great job managing the game.
He was 23 of 30 for 194 yards, two touchdown and one interception. He finished with a 49.5 QBR and passer rating of 101.2 in the win.
The run game was nonexistent last week. The Jets running backs combined for 34 yards on 18 carries and no touchdowns against the Browns.

On defense, the Jets made Cleveland look like a high flying offense. Cleveland had 419 total yards of offense against New York. Unknown Browns quarterback Kevin Hogan, was 16 of 19 for 194 yards passing, two touchdowns and one interception.
The Jets defense better be prepared this week. If not, Tom Brady will turn the New York secondary to toast in this game.
