The Rams have started the preseason on the right note by winning both games over quality opposition, but they now have to travel to Denver which will be hurting after giving up the win to the Giants last week.
The Broncos opened their Super Bowl defense with a 22-0 win over Chicago and everything looked on track for a repeat effort this season, but after losing to the Giants last week, there are some improvements to be made.

The Rams have played both preseason games at home, but they were quality wins against the Cowboys and the Chiefs.
That took their recent winning record to 5-1 and they are definitely a team on the improve and could make it into the playoffs this season.
Coming up against the defending Super Bowl champions will be a true test of where the Rams are at this preseason, but playing at altitude could throw them off their game.
L.A. Rams
The Rams came from behind to defeat the Chiefs last week and it was a good all-round performance from the team.
Top pick Jared Goff was solid at the quarterback position – throwing 8/12 for 82 yards and a touchdown. Case Keenum was also solid and he averaged 10.6 yards per throw in a short and sweet series.

The QB’s only threw 17 passes between them as the Rams relied heavily on the running game where it had 29 rushes for 139 yards.
The team as a whole wasn’t asked to do much throughout the game, but that will keep them well-rested for their upcoming game against the Broncos.
The punting efforts of Johnny Hekker was potentially the difference between a win and a loss for the Rams against the Chiefs.
He punted on five occasions for an average of 47.4 yards and expect that to increase at altitude on Saturday.
The Rams are discovering that you don’t need to be amazing on every play and that’s making them a profitable betting side this year so far.
Denver Broncos
The Broncos suffered their first loss this preseason to the 49ers last week, but take nothing away from that effort.
The 49ers were sublime in the passing game, going 19/24 for 216 yards and the Broncos defense just had no match for their offensive prowess.
The Broncos went 35/57 in a pass-heavy offensive set which included three quarterbacks where Paxton Lynch was the best-performed.

Lynch went 15/26 for 113 yards, but he did throw two touchdowns. Mark Sanchez also had one touchdown, but both players were sacked on three occasions which indicates the Denver offensive line has plenty to work on.
The Broncos were successful last season because they mixed up their offense in the big games, so expect to see the rushing game used more heavily this week.
We understand that the quarterbacks can’t make an impression if they keep handing the ball over, but they should be under strict instruction to pass it less against the Rams.
NFL Betting Trends:
- Rams are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 road games.
- Rams are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games.
- Broncos are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 Saturday games.
- Underdog is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
Free NFL Betting Prediction: Broncos -5
The Broncos should take advantage of playing at home and they should also look towards their rushing game as their primary focus.
Throwing the ball in Denver is made easier by the conditions, but they should establish the running game early against the Rams and open up the field to the passing game in the second half.
The Broncos are the more polished team and will be looking to rebound after their loss to the 49ers.
