A matchup with the Minnesota Vikings awaits the hobbled Kansas City Chiefs as they hope to snap their four-game losing streak without their best player. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings are looking for win No. 3 on the year after their Week 5 bye.

Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET as the Vikings look to keep the gap close with the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North.
Kansas City Chiefs
What was supposed to be a promising season for the Kansas City Chiefs has quickly turned into a disaster after losing four-straight games as well as running back Jamaal
Charles for the rest of the season. After totaling 541 yards and five touchdowns this season, Charles tore his ACL against the Bears in Week 5, putting an end to his season and throwing Kansas City into a state of disarray.
After a Week 1 victory over the Houston Texans, the Chiefs have lost four straight and are still at the bottom of the AFC West. A big part of that is because Kansas City’s defense is far worse than it was last year. The Chiefs have allowed 30 points per game during their four-game losing streak and have been outscored by an average of 8 points per game in that span.
With their best player done for the year and their defense not being able to stop anybody, the Chiefs could be in for a long day against a Vikings squad that has looked good over its last three games.

Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings come into this game at 2-2, but they could just as easily be 3-1 after a heartbreaking loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 4. Led by head coach Mike Zimmer, the Vikings are getting the job done by playing old-fashioned, smash-mouth football.
Minnesota’s 136.5 rushing yards per game are 2nd-best in the NFL, while its 18.2 points per game allowed is 6th-best in the league. Though the Vikings aren’t lighting it up on the scoreboard, they’re holding their opponents in check and have only allowed 15 points per game at home this year.
The Vikings are also 2-0 at home and have won those games by an average of 13.5 points. Minnesota plays much better at home, and now the team will look for a solid performance after the bye week.
Though quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has struggled to find his groove so far, he’ll square off against a Kansas City defense that ranks 27th in the league in pass defense.
And how could we forget Adrian Peterson, who’s scored three touchdowns in his last two games.

- Chiefs are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games.
- Vikings are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games.
- Vikings are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games.
- The total has gone UNDER in 4 of the Vikings’ last 6 home games.
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Vikings -3.5
The Chiefs have more questions than answers after losing Jamaal Charles for the rest of the season, and they’ll try to answer those questions against a team that has outscored its opponents 57-30 in two home games this year.
Not the easiest of tasks.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Minnesota 29 – Kansas City 17
Look for Teddy Bridgewater to finally get going against a depleted Kansas City secondary. With Adrian Peterson in the backfield, I look for the Vikings to catch the Chiefs off-guard with plenty of play-action passes.
Let’s not forget that Peterson can do plenty of damage by himself too.
The Chiefs were dealt quite the blow when they lost Charles, and this could make for a long day at the office.
