Last year when these two teams played the Chiefs came out ahead 42-27.
Kansas City Chiefs
The hopes were high for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs this season, but so far they have blown out those expectations.
They come into this game with a 5-0 record and have just beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that beat the Patriots earlier this season.
The Chiefs are led by Mahomes who has thrown for 1513 yards, 14 touchdowns and two interceptions. Against the Jaguars he actually came down to earth a bit.
He threw for 313 yards and zero touchdowns and two interceptions. In this game he needs to clean up those interceptions.

The most impressive part against the Jaguars was the way the defense played. They picked off Blake Bortles four times and for a defense that has struggled, that is a big change.
In this game the defense is going to need to be good against the Patriots. They need to try and get an interception or two off of Tom Brady.
New England Patriots
On the other side of this matchup is the New England Patriots who come into this game with a 3-2 record but they still look like a team who are one of the best AFC.
In their last game the Colts the defense struggled once again giving up 24 points, but the offense led them to a victory putting up 38 points.
Tom Brady is still the star for this team and he has been good but at times hasn’t looked as sharp as years past. He has thrown for 1259 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions.

In this game the defense is going to need to be good. They looked bad against Andrew Luck and they really don’t want to get this game getting into a shootout, even with the offense they have.
Mahomes is a special and they are going to need to find a way to keep him in the pocket and protect against the deep ball.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Chiefs +3
For football fans, this Brady vs Mahomes is a dream matchup and could be a preview of what the AFC Championship is going to be.
NFL Free Week 6 Score Prediction: Chiefs 37 – Patriots 31
I know Brady is the veteran, but the way Mahomes is playing can’t be ignored. I think this team will get into a shootout and the Patriots offense won’t have quite enough.
The Chiefs will win a high scoring affair and keep their perfect record.
