The Chiefs mounted the biggest comeback in team history to get the win in Week 1. Houston also comes into the game after a solid home opener.
Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET with QB Alex Smith leading the Chiefs against Brock Osweiler and the Texans. Each team made solid plays on offense and defense to get the wins.
Kansas City Chiefs
Alex Smith had arguably the best game of his career passing-wise, as he threw for 363 yards and 2 touchdowns in the dramatic win against San Diego. He will come back to earth against a stellar Texans defense.

Spencer Ware had a great game against San Diego as he had 78 yards rushing and 129 yards receiving. He will need to play at his best in order for the Chiefs to win one on the road.
Jeremy Maclin (5 rec, 63 yds, 1 TD) and Travis Kelce (6 rec, 74 yds) both had solid games for the Chiefs passing attack. Going up against a tougher Houston secondary should keep their numbers pedestrian this week.

The Chiefs defense put them in a hole early, as Melvin Gordon racked up two quick touchdowns before halftime.
After the start of the 3rd quarter they clamped down and San Diego was only able to get one field goal in each quarter.
Houston Texans
In his first game as a starter Brock Osweiler had a good showing, going 22-35 for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns. He will have to be wary of the Kansas City pass rush, but I expect another game manager type of game from him.
Coveted free agent signing Lamar Miller has clearly shown that he will be the workhorse in Houston. He had 28 carries for 106 yards. I expect him to get into the end zone two times this week.
Rookie Will Fuller used his game breaking speed to steal the show against the Bears, as he had 5 catches for 107 yards and a score.
He will have to be wary of superstar safety Eric Berry, who has the speed and athleticism to go step for step with Fuller down the field.

The Texans defense is anchored by J.J. Watt and Jadaveon Clowney. Last week the defense racked up 5 sacks on Jay Cutler, and I expect at least 4 this week against Kansas City.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Texans ATS & the under
The Texans offense will keep feeding the ball to Lamar Miller and he will lead them to a close victory. I don’t expect a shootout this week as both teams will look to grind it out and play the field position game.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Houston 21 – Kansas City 20
Braxton Miller and Will Fuller will make a few plays downfield, and the defense will clamp down on Alex Smith and Spencer Ware. Take Houston by a point in this low scoring game.
