The Sunday kickoff is set for 1:25pm with Smith starting opposite to Trevor Siemian, the young QB who has claimed the starting gig in Denver in his second season.
Kansas City Chiefs
While Kansas City QB, Alex Smith, may lack the deep ball threat, he has been very efficient and is coming off an impressive game in a losing effort.
In week-11, Smith gained positive expect points on 77% of his plays and had a QBR of 94.1. Smith has 2077 passing yards on the season with 9TDs and a 67.2 completion percentage.
His passer rating ranks amongst the of 91.2 on the season ranks above his career rate of 85.0.
Spencer Ware has taken over the starting running back role for KC, with Jamaal Charles sidelined for a large chunk of the season and not expected to return.

Kansas City defense has long been their calling card and this season is no different. The Chiefs have allowed the 5th fewest points per game (tied with three other teams) at 18.7 on average allowed.
Safety, Marcus Peters, continues to impress and steak his claim on a Pro-Bowl selection.
Peters has five interceptions and three fumble recoveries, though he was sidelined with a hip ailment last game.
Denver Broncos
A big story of this past off-season was Denver’s GM, John Elway, allowing QB Brock Osweiler to walk and sign a massive contract in Houston.
Elway looks to have made a brilliant move, as Osweiler looks completely lost as an NFL starter, grading out as one of the worst passers this season.
Stepping into the Broncos’ starting QB role is Trevor Siemian, a 24-year old who was a 7th round selection in 2015. Siemian has helped lead the Broncos to a 7-3 record while passing for 2,028 yards and 12 TDs.
The running game started with CJ Anderson being the lead back, but an injury has landed him on the IR. This has left the starting back duties between Devantae Booker, who has rushed for an average of 3.8 YPC this season across 104 attempts.
The wide-out duo of Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas have combined for 1,346 yards and eight TDs.
