The 7-6 Minnesota Vikings will host the 6-7 Indianapolis Colts on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Vikings are coming off of a morale boosting 25-16 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday in Jacksonville.

The Colts are coming off a 22-17 loss to their division rival Houston Texans. Both teams will be desperate to get a win to keep their individual playoff hopes alive.
Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are only behind one game in the weak AFC South. Despite their poor record, they have their eyes on a possible division title and playoff spot.
If they lose to the Vikings this week, they have no shot unless the rest of the division loses out. Star quarterback Andrew Luck has managed to post good numbers behind one of the absolute worst offensive lines in the league.
He has completed 62.9 percent of his passes for 3,381 yards and 25 touchdowns, numbers ranking in the top 10 statistically.
Receivers T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief have accounted for 6 touchdowns each, nearly half of Luck’s scores. Moncrief suffered a hamstring injury in his last game and may be sidelined, so that may be a factor in this week’s contest.

Last week against Houston, Andrew Luck was sacked just once and threw for 276 yards, 2 scores, and 2 interceptions. Receiver T.Y. Hilton accounted for 115 of those yards along with one of the touchdowns.
Rushing wise, their lead running back, Frank Gore, managed just 41 yards, though he did have 33 yards receiving and a receiving touchdown.
Minnesota Vikings
From 5-0 and looking like a top Super Bowl contender to 7-6, this season has seen a complete shift in the opposite direction. This is a team absolutely hammered by the injury bug.
They lost their entire starting offensive line, star running back Adrian Peterson, and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to injury.
Their season hopes were salvaged by a defense that is arguably the NFL’s best and the acquisition of former Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford.
Bradford has completed an NFL record 71.2% of passes this season behind football’s worst offensive line. He has 2954 yards, 14 touchdowns, and just 3 interceptions all season.
This is a quarterback who has played extremely efficient football. The ground game of the Vikings is an NFL worst without Adrian Peterson and their starting offensive line. The team is forced to throw to win games.

Last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the offensive line gave perhaps their best performance of the season.
As a result, Bradford threw for 292 yards, his second highest total of the year.
The game started off as a field goal fest, with Vikings kicker Kai Forth kicking four before a couple late touchdowns sealed the game. Momentum seemed to shift back to the Vikings as the game went on.
NFL Betting Trends:
- The total has stayed under in four of the Colts previous six games.
- The total has stayed under in four of Indianapolis’ previous six against Minnesota
- The Vikings are 13-5 ATS in their previous 18 games.
- Minnesota is 8-1 in their previous 9 games at home.
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Vikings -3.5
The two teams sporting possibly the worst offensive lines in the NFL will square off, and the difference maker is going to be defensive pressure.
The Colts defense is weak while the Vikings have possibly the best in the league and an incredibly talented pass rushing group.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Minnesota 27 – Chicago 10
The 2nd most sacked quarterback in the league just might turn into the most sacked after this Sunday.
And if that isn’t a convincing enough reason for a Vikings win, the Colts may be missing Donte Moncrief, their 2nd leading receiver, and Vikings shutdown corner Xavier Rhodes will be on T.Y. Hilton.
Rhodes has shut down the likes of Odell Beckham Jr, Kelvin Benjamin, Jordy Nelson, and Dez Bryant.
Hilton will become another name on his list and the Colts passing game will falter. This will be a Vikings win.
