Since you are going to get down I am going to try and help by identifying some props you should definitely avoid.
Obviously, all bets are about value so in looking at props it is not always about probability but whether you are getting your fair shake at making some money off the deal.
2019 Super Bowl 53 Props to avoid #1: Total receptions by Rob Gronkowski O/U 3.5
I am sure there are going to be a lot of people that are going to want to take the over on this bet because Gronkowski did look good last weekend and it’s the Super Bowl but I don’t think it’s as easy as a bet as it looks.

Gronkowski has had an up and down season and there is a good chance the Rams have a better gameplan to slow him down, something the Chiefs didn’t have.
This is a bet I would stay away from.
2019 Super Bowl 53 Props to avoid #2: Total rushing yards by C.J. Anderson. O/U 42.5
This is a juicy bet that a lot of people are probably going to hop on, but I don’t think this is a bet that is strong because it’s hard to predict how much run Gurley will get.

They kept saying Gurley was healthy for the Chiefs game, and Anderson got the run, but in this game it could be Gurley that gets all the run.
2019 Super Bowl 53 Props to avoid #3: Will the Patriots score in all four quarters?
I expect the Patriots are going to score a lot of points in this game, but there is a chance they could have a big enough lead in the 4th they don’t push for a score.
The easy answer on this one seems to be yes, but this is one that I am going to be staying far far away from.
2019 Super Bowl 53 Props to avoid #4: Over/Under 2, Total touchdown passes by Tom Brady
Who is going to score the touchdowns is tough to figure out and I think this is a bet that could land right on the total.
I think this will be a game that features more rushing touchdowns, but Brady could also be good for three or four of them.
2018 Super Bowl 53 Props to avoid #5: Over/Under 3.5 different Patriots to score
This is another bet that seems to be an over, but there are games where a guy like James White will score all the touchdowns

It could be one of those games though where five different Patriots score, and for that reason, I think this is one you want to stay away from.
Props are fun but my general advice is not to go crazy on them, especially for those ones that are essentially off the field action. If you are heading to a party though then definitely participate in the “squares” sheet. Just in case the game fails to live up to expectations.
