The Vikings on the other hand, have had a lot of tough injuries for the first quarter of the year. They are sitting in third place in the NFC Central.
The last time both teams faced each other was in 2016. The teams split the series 1-1.
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers look like one of the the better teams in the NFC. Fresh off a comeback win against the Cowboys, at Jerry world, 35-31.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues to add to his legend with yesterday’s win. He was 19 of 29 for 221 yards and three touchdowns.
His numbers weren’t jaw dropping, but his last drive of the game is what counted, and he was masterful. His back shoulder throw to Davante Adams was a pass only he and a handful of other guys could make.
Adams led the receiving core with seven receptions, 66 yards and two touchdowns. Jordy Nelson chipped in with 2 catches for 24 yards and a touchdown, but was limited in the final series of the game.
This week look for Rodgers to try to get Cobb and Nelson more involved against Minnesota.

Defensively, the Packers gave up 408 total yards to the high powered Cowboys offense. Zeke Elliot rushed for 116 yards and Dak Prescott passed for 251 yards and three touchdowns. The Packers defense did force Prescott to throw a pick in the win.
Blake Martinez led the Packers defense with 12 total tackles including seven solo. Damarious Randall led the Packer secondary with a 21 yard pick six.
Look for the Packers defense to try and get after the quarterback early. Green Bay has an above average secondary this season, which could cause whoever is playing quarterback this week for Minnesota to have their work cut out for them.
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings are looking to find a way to win games. They are 2-2 so far this season, but could be in for a tough road ahead. With the return of quarterback Sam Braford in question, and the suspect play of Case Keenum at the same position, the Vikings need answers on offense.
Minnesota took a more than tough home loss last week against a division foe in the Lions. Detroit won at Minnesota, 14-7. The Vikings also lost star rookie running back Dalvin Cook.
Cook was the only spark of offense for the Vikings in last weeks loss. He had 13 carries for 66 yards and a touchdown, before tearing his ACL. He is out for the year.
Quarterback Case Keenum was a pedestrian 16 of 30 for 219 yards and no touchdowns.

The defense played well last week against the Lions. They allowed just 251 yards of total offense. The Vikings secondary limited Matt Stafford to 19 of 31 completions for 219 yards and no touchdowns.
Expect the Vikings defense to be the stars of the game again this week. They will give Minnesota a better shot to win than the offense will in this matchup.
