The Bengals come into this game after a tough loss to the Cowboys last week. They are looking to get to .500 against a Patriots team that saw Tom Brady return and easily defeat the Cleveland Browns.
Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET with QB Andy Dalton getting the start for the Bengals with Tom Brady opposing him.
Cincinnati Bengals
Andy Dalton played a solid game in the loss to the Cowboys.
He was 29-41 for 270 yards with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Bengals offense has not been as dynamic this year but I look for Dalton to play good against the Pats secondary and finish with another 2 touchdown game.

The Bengals running game was abandoned against the Cowboys, so neither key running back got into a rhythm.
Giovanni Bernard had 9 rushed for 50 yards and 6 catches for 46 yards, and I look for him to be the main threat out of the backfield against New England.
Jeremy Hill had 4 carries for 12 yards and was a nonfactor in the game.
AJ Green is one of the best wide receivers in football but he was shut down last week by a weak Cowboys secondary.
He had only 4 catches for 50 yards and must play like the dominant receiver he was the previous week against the Dolphins for the Bengals to have a shot in this game.

The Bengals defense couldn’t stop the Cowboys running game last week.
Star rookie Ezekiel Elliot had 15 carries for 134 yards nd 2 touchdowns, including a 60 yarder.
The Pats offensive gameplan is always tailored to the biggest weakness of the defense so it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Pats run the ball 30+ times to tire this defense out heading into the late stages of the game.
The passing defense wasn’t much better as they weren’t able to pressure Dak Prescott much and didn’t force him into any turnovers.
New England Patriots
Coming off of his 4 game suspension I didn’t expect Tom Brady to have the game he did, even if he was playing the Browns, but he has started off the year red hot.
He was 28-40 for 406 yards and 3 touchdowns.
He was simply as dominate as any quarterback has been all season long in a game. This week against the Bengals I am looking for another big game from Brady, with 300 yards and another 3 touchdown passes.
Running back LeGarrette Blount wasn’t very effective against the Browns, as he had 18 carries for only 37 yards and a score.
With Tom Brady playing as well as he has you would expect Blount’s production to dip, but I believe Belichek will attack the Bengals defense on the ground, and Blount should have over 20 carries for 100 yards and a score.
The Patriots have not had a two tight end attack this dynamic since Aaron Hernandez was lining up opposite of Gronk. Last week Martellus Bennett had 3 touchdown grabs and Gronk had 6 catches for 120 yards.
These two will be the main focus of the offense going forward and it won’t surprise me to see both of them get into the end zone this week.

The Pats defense was able to shut down the Browns running game last week. They held Isaiah Crowell to 22 yards on 13 carries.
This dominance from the defensive line, along with the Pats offensive explosion, forced the Browns to become one dimensional.
Charlie Whitehurst and Cody Kessler combines to throw for 244 yards with 2 touchdowns and an interception.
This week look for the Bengals to have a hard time running the ball, and Andy Dalton hasn’t played well enough this season to carry them to victory.

Tom Brady will dominate the Bengals secondary this week. He should lead the offense to early scoring drives, and force the Bengals to abandon the run game altogether. Look for a two touchdown win.
NFL Free Score Prediction: New England 37 – Cincinnati 23
The Patriots dominate both sides of the ball and come out with an easy home victory, securing their lead in a crowded AFC.
