The Bears had lost 2 straight games, but then they had a comeback win over the Chargers on Monday night to keep their slim [playoff hopes alive.
The Rams are coming off a tough OT loss to the Vikings in their last game to fall to 4-4 and they need a win to keep pace with the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West.
In their last games the Bears beat the San Diego Chargers 22-19 and the Rams list to the Minnesota Vikings 21-18 in OT.

On the season the Rams are 3-1 at home and the Bears are 2-2 on the road.
Chicago Bears
Jay Cutler had a solid game in the win over the Chargers 345 yards with 2 tD and 1 INT. His main target is Alshon Jeffery and with Matt Forte out with an injury rookie RB Jeremy Langford, who had 72 rushing yards in the Chargers game.
Cutler has his work cut out for him facing a St. Louis pass defense that ranks 4th in the league. St. Louis also has a solid run D ranking 12th in the league and Langford has to help Cutler out, as it has been shown in the past when he tried to do it all with his arm it usually does not lead to Chicago wins.

The Bears have won 7 of their last10 games facing the Rams.
St. Louis Rams
The Rams had won 2 straight games before their loss to the Vikings.
Nick Foles has been decent this season, but only had 168 passing yards in the loss to Minnesota. He does not have a great WR corps, but does have a new weapon in the recently signed Wes Welker, who may make his St. Louis debut this week.
Chicago ranks a solid 5th in the league in pass defense.
Chicago only ranks 21st in the league in run defense and they will get a heavy dose of rookie RB Todd Gurley in the game.
He had rushed for at least 125 yards in 3 straight games before being held to 89 rushing yards in the Minnesota game.
The Rams also have to get Tavon Auston the ball, as he has 300 receiving yards and also has 207 rushing yards.
