Sundays match up between the Vikings and Bears is a game between two teams that have had very disappointing seasons.
The Vikings were expected to be in the playoffs, and after the first five weeks people were talking about the Super Bowl.

The Bears were not expected to be a playoff team, but not many people expected them to be this bad. A lot of this season’s struggles can be contributed to injuries.
Chicago Bears
This season for the Bears has been all about injuries. The Bears come into week 17 with 20 players on injured reserve. This includes the likes of Jay Cutler, Brian Hoyer, Kyle Long, Kyle Fuller, and Kevin White. It’s really hard to judge a teams success when they have injuries like that.
Right now Matt Barkley is the starting quarterback and there is chatter that he could be the starting QB going into next year too. He has thrown for 1486 yards and 8 touchdowns this season.
He also has 12 interceptions which is a thing he will need to clean up if he wants to be the starting quarterback coming into next year. He should be very motivated to have a big game against a good Vikings defense.

The Bears also seemed to have found their running back of the future. Rookie Jordan Howard has 1178 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns.
That number is even more impressive because he didn’t start the season as the starter. The Bears average 17.9 points per game and 358 total yards.
On the defensive side the Bears give up 24.1 points per game and 344.9 yars per game.
Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings like the Bears, have been decimated by injuries all year. They haven’t had as many as the Bears, but still had their fair share.
The key for the Vikings to have success is their defense. They started the season as a dominant group, but haven’t played as well as of late.
On the season the Vikings are giving up 19.1 points per game, and 311.1 yards per game. They also create a lot of turnovers, so they will really look to win that battle on Sunday.
On the offensive side of the ball the Vikings are led by Sam Bradford. They have not been able to get a run game going, so all the weight of the offense falls on Bradford.

Bradford has thrown for 3627 yards and four touchdowns. He has only thrown four interceptions so he has really been careful with the ball.
Adam Thielen is the leading receiver for the Vikings with 960 yards. He also has
