Last week, the Ravens lost to the Browns and the Titans lost to the Bills.

Both are 3–2 and either at or near the top of their respected divisions. One is going to fall a little further this week, though.
Baltimore Ravens
After giving up forty-five points in a Week 4 loss in Oakland, Cleveland’s defense shut down the Ravens on Sunday, forcing twenty-seven incomplete passes out of Joe Flacco and restricting the scoring to Justin Tucker, who hit three out of his four field goal attempts.
Baltimore’s pass attack has looked good this season but no more than that. Michael Crabtree, John Brown and Willie Snead have breathed new life into a receiving corps in Baltimore that has felt jaded for my entire lifetime.

It certainly seemed as though fifty-seven pass attempts were just too many for Flacco and Lamar Jackson, who missed his only attempt. Give credit to Cleveland for shutting down Baltimore’s running game; that’s the way play the Ravens, who aren’t good enough to be one-dimensional.
The Titans have a stout defense so I leave Baltimore’s offensive success to the play-calling.
Tennessee Titans
The score in Cleveland was 12–9, Browns in overtime. Tennessee lost 13–12 in Buffalo on a last-minute Bills’ field goal.
Josh Allen orchestrated that final drive but he finished with just eighty-two pass yards. Tennessee held Buffalo’s running game in check, too, so you wonder how in the world the Titans lost.

Then again, perhaps it was obviously the offense, which didn’t look any better than it’s counterpart. Marcus Mariota threw for 129 yards and a pick; Derrick Henry averaged over five yards per carry but only got it eleven times. Dion Lewis couldn’t shake free catching the ball out of the backfield.
The Titans are 2–0 at home but I think the Ravens can match Tennessee’s defense and do a little more on offense, if they stay unpredictably balanced. I guess I like Baltimore but not enough to play it as a small road favorite.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: just a lean on the Ravens.
It’s way too easy to lose a play on Baltimore -2. I like to be a little more selective than that. But if I must pick perhaps the most true pick’em of the week, I go with the more dynamic offense.
