The Cowboys picked up a very impressive road win against Pittsburgh last week and now face another AFC North team with hopes of maintaining their 8 game winning streak.

The Ravens are atop the AFC North and have used divisional wins to establish that lead.
They will now look to improve their play outside of the division and will get a shot at the team with the NFL’s best record.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens either lead or are tied for the NFL lead in terms of rushing yards allowed per game, rushing yards allowed per attempt, rushing touchdowns allowed, first downs allowed, and third down conversion percentage allowed.
That all will be put to its toughest test this week against the NFL’s most dynamic offense that no one has figured out how to slow down.
The Ravens have built some of their defensive statistical success on the offenses of Cleveland twice, Jacksonville, and the Jets.
They haven’t been tested often by backs the caliber of Ezekiel Elliott nor by offensive lines as strong as the Dallas Cowboys.

Luckily, the Ravens defense has been performing very well this season because the offense has been stumbling. Joe Flacco owns a 52.6 total QBR – which ranks 27th in the NFL.
Their rushing attack is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry – 28th in the NFL – and the Ravens are tied for 24th in the NFL with only 20.2 points per game.
This will be a true test of their defense as the Cowboys are 4th in the NFL in scoring and wear teams down by dominating time of possession.
The Cowboys also have had a very strong defense this season so finding a way to get the Baltimore offense rolling will be a tall task for Flacco.
Dak Prescott has showed no signs of cracking under pressure and Elliott doesn’t appear to be hitting the rookie wall; in fact, he may be getting even stronger.
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys put their 7 game win streak on the line with a banged up defense and went into Pittsburgh led by two rookies and went blow for blow with Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown.
The experience of Pittsburgh didn’t scare the young Cowboys and they’ll be up against another experienced group in the Ravens – who have defeated 5 straight rookie quarterbacks.
Prescott and Elliott looked poised yet again as the Cowboys had two late game drives to hold onto the win after surrendering the lead with under a minute remaining.
Despite an eight game winning streak and the best record in the NFL, the Cowboys own just a 2 game advantage over the 2nd place New York Giants in the NFC East – the only team to beat Dallas this season.
So, this is no time to get complacent as that divisional lead could disappear real quickly.

The makeup of the Cowboys with a strong offensive line and two rookies who are still trying to prove their worth makes a letdown following their Steelers victory unlikely.
Outside of the great O-line, Prescott, and Elliott, the Cowboys defense has been performing surprisingly well.
To keep this win streak going, the Cowboys will need to rely on their defense stopping the big play from Ravens receivers Kamar Aiken and Mike Wallace.
The Dallas offense may sputter some against the great Ravens defense so the defense for Dallas could be the deciding factor.
NFL Betting Trends:
- Dallas is 8-1 ATS this season.
- Baltimore is 9-14-2 ATS since the start of last season.
- Dallas is 9-5-1 ATS in their last 15 games against AFC opponents.
- Under is 6-1 in Dallas’s last 7 games against AFC opponents
- Under is 5-2 in Baltimore’s last 7 games as a road underdog.
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Baltimore +7.0
Trends show Dallas has been killing the spread lately so I expect the public to be all over Dallas – especially after their win last week. The Cowboys shouldn’t lose this one at home but the Ravens should keep it within a touchdown.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Dallas 23 – Baltimore 20
I don’t know that any defense will have an answer for Elliott and the Cowboys offense but the Ravens should do the best job of anyone yet.
