These two examples show just how easy and how hard it is to predict just who will win the MVP of the Big Game. I know you can’t really rule out anybody but here is a look at the players and value that most got my attention.
Super Bowl 50 MVP Odds – Von Miller +1800
If the Broncos win the most common narrative seems to be that it is because of a defense that figures out how to corral Cam Newton.

That most likely means that the Broncos most dynamic playmaker, Miller, collects a couple of sacks and perhaps gets deployed in some ways that he makes some other plays as well.
If this is the narrative you are backing with your side plays than Miller becomes an interesting pick at an obviously great value.
Super Bowl 50 MVP Odds – Luke Kuechly +1400
Kuechly has been a star ever since he entered the league and can easily be called the most complete linebacker in the league.
His particular speciality is stuffing the run and he should have a lot of chances to show off that skill if the Broncos play to form. Kuechly is also a valuable defender in the passing game.
He has had an interception in each of the Panthers wins in the postseason if the Broncos are going to be focused on shallow and intermediate routes because of the physical limitations of Peyton Manning he should be able to be a factor in that area on Sunday as well.
Super Bowl 50 MVP Odds – Peyton Manning +300
There is a lot of speculation about what Manning will do after this game.
[dfads params=’groups=226&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Physically he is not the player he used to be and at his age he is not going to all of a sudden reclaim his former abilities.
However, I do believe that in a one game scenario he has the potential to still be brilliant.
His decision-making is still at an elite level and if he can lead Denver to a victory and no other player is an obvious standout the award often goes to a QB. Even just a couple of key plays could make it for him.
Still the best bet is…
Super Bowl 50 MVP Odds – Cam Newton -160
I know the value is not there like with the other candidates but it is hard to get away from Cam.
First of all you know that if the Panthers win he is the most likely candidate on the team to collect the award, QB’s always are, and I don’t think the fact that he is the likely league MVP hurts him at all.
The best thing about Cam both for the Panthers and for this award is that he can’t beat you in so many ways. Of course with this arm and his legs but even if he doesn’t put up big numbers it wouldn’t surprise me if he has a couple of sneaks for big first downs or touchdowns that make the difference.
He is going to be right in the thick of it, but the Panthers will have to win.
Super Bowl 50 MVP Odds – Strong lean on Manning. I want to make some money! So why not hit it out of the park with +300 odds on one of the greatest QB’s ever?!
