Yale Bulldogs
Yale was the third and final team with a winning record in the Ivy League.
The Bulldogs finished 9–5 after winning their final four games, including a one-point win over Penn in Connecticut.

Yale also won at Cornell and at Columbia during that streak, ending things with a four-point win at home over Princeton.
It’s fifth and final loss was by 20 at Harvard but the four prior to that were all close and could have gone either way for most of the game: one at Brown, two vs. Harvard, three at Princeton and nine at Penn.
It doesn’t look like Makai Mason will be back to play another game in a Yale uniform. The preseason Conference Player of the Year has played 21 minutes all season because of foot problems. That comes after missing all of last season after leading the Bulldogs to an NCAA Tournament win two seasons ago.
Mason will likely play a grad year for Baylor next season, if he can get healthy. This season, his current team has to get it done without him, like it has all season.
Penn Quakers
Harvard didn’t overtake Penn until the Quakers lost that game to Yale, by one, in the second to last game of the season.
Then UPenn hung 99 on Brown in the regular season finale to at least get the split of the crown. Ryan Betley, the team’s leading scorer as a sophomore, scored 30 for the first time in his career, going 10-for-14 from the field, including 6-for-9 from three.

Betley is joined by three other double-digit scorers for the best offense in this Ivy League Tournament. The Quakers average 77 points per game this season on 35 percent three-point shooting.
Playing in Philadelphia, Penn has to be considered the favorite, despite getting the tougher of the first round matchups with Yale. If Penn can win this one, it will compete for a spot in the NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday against the winner of the Harvard/Cornell game.
