The Cavaliers are once again expected to be one of the top teams in the nation. They will likely have to at least break a sweat in this one.

George Washington is a solid program expected to finish in the upper half of the Atlantic 10. They could make their season in one night.
Virginia Cavaliers
The Cavs have another strong team this season. They are still looking to have that major postseason breakthrough to match their regular season success but I think it is fair to say that coach Bennett has things going in Charlottesville.
They will always play good defense and compared to other teams ranked highly they are not relying on freshman to carry them. They just need their guys to fill their roles to have success.

Virginia used its first game to get bigs Mike Tobey and Anthony Gill on track – they combined for 27 points and 15 rebounds against Morgan State.
The starting backcourt of Malcolm Brogdon and London were a little cold but not needed. Look for them to get into the action a little more intensely in this one.
George Washington Colonials:
I have to admit I usually have a soft spot for GW. They tend to have strong guards and over perform as a result, as opposed to vice versa. They are definitely in the mix in that second tier in the Atlantic 10 this season.
They will be more dangerous than most people think because they have a couple of talents that standout. The first is big man Kevin Larsen. He had 24/11 in their opening game against Lafayette and will be able to go toe to toe with Tobey inside in this one.
The other is outside shooter Patricio Garino. at 6’6″ he has the size to be able to launch bombs against any defense and was solid in the opener too with 17 points (2-3 from deep).
Against a team like Virginia he is going to have to make some big shots.

The Colonials look like they might have a third wheel in the form of Wake Forest transfer Tyler Cavanaugh. He has good size and owned the boards for GW in their opener with a 15/17.
They might be a sleeper in the league as a result.
CBB Betting Trends:

Free CBB Prediction:
Last year the Cavs won easily at home in a very low scoring game (101 total points). This year’s game should have more offense and be closer.
4* Free CBB Betting Pick: George Washington ATS
I am looking at a game that goes right down to the wire. A win for the Colonials even if they lose.
