They’ll go toe-to-toe with one of the tougher teams in the conference on Monday night when they make the trip out to Illinois to take on the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. However, the team is expected to be more or less at full strength by then.
Toronto Raptors:
Toronto starting center Jonas Valanciunas is expected to make his return to action Monday night. He was averaging 12.7 points and 9.3 rebounds in 14 starts before breaking his left hand in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 20. Both of those figures are career highs.

Since Valanciunas went down, Bismack Biyombo has filled in at center, and helped the team win 12 of 18. Known for being a force defensively, Biyombo is averaging 15.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks over the last six games. He had 14 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday’s 111-90 win in Milwaukee.
Chicago Bulls:
The Bulls have dropped four of five, despite shooting 53.8 percent from the field on Saturday in a 118-111 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Derrick Rose scored 25 points in that one, and Nikola Mirotic chipped in 23 points, seven rebounds, three blocks, and two steals.

Jimmy Butler played a big part in the Bulls winning all four games against the Raptors last season. He averaged 23.7 points on 61.8 percent shooting in the three games he played in. Mirotic has 44 points in his last two games in the series.
NBA Betting Trends:
- The Raptors are 5-0 ATS in their last five games against opponents that scored 100 or more points in their previous game.
- The Raptors are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games.
- The Raptors are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games against opponents with a winning record.
- The Bulls are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games against Eastern Conference opponents.
- The Bulls are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Free NBA Prediction:
The Raptors have wins in six of their last eight road games. DeMar DeRozan has been a big reason why.
His 26.6 points per game since Dec. 9 ranks second behind only James Harden. He had 22 points and eight assists in Saturday’s win over the Bucks.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Raptors +2
The Bulls may have dominated last year’s series, but these are very different teams compared with what each team sent out a year ago, even if many of the faces are still the same. The Raptors will have something to prove on this night as they flex their muscles now that they’re fully healthy.
