The Raptors are traveling to New Orleans to face off against the struggling Pelicans.
Toronto is 4-2 in their last 6, while New Orleans is 2-4 since the All-Star break.
The Raptors won the first meeting of this season series by two points in overtime and have won 3 in a row overall.
Toronto Raptors
Kyle Lowry’s injury could be a major blow for Toronto’s chances to secure the #2 seed in the East. With him out for the remainder of the regular season Toronto will need to win the games against weaker opponents as the season draws to a close.

After going on a scoring tear since coming out of the All-Star break, DeMar DeRozan struggled in the loss to the Bucks, and was surprisingly benched by Dwayne Casey in the 4th.
Simply benching one of your franchise players due to a poor performance was a terrible decision by the head coach.
Derozan will bounce back and have a great game against the Pelicans backcourt. Expect a 30 point, 8 rebound performance in this game.

Serge Ibaka put up big numbers against an injury depleted Milwaukee front line, as he scored 19 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in the game. Ibaka has averaged 17 points and 7 rebounds since joining the Raptors and looks like a key 2nd scoring option while Lowry is out.
It will be tough for Ibaka to get a big night going up against Anthony Davis and Demarcus Cousins, so modest numbers should be expected.
The injury to Lowry will be significant, but Jonas Valanciunas should be able to become a good contributor in the paint on both sides of the ball during this home stretch heading into the playoffs.
New Orleans Pelicans
The Pelicans seem to be fading fast, as they are 2-5 since the All-Star break and now have the third worst record in the West.
Will the combo of Davis and Cousins be enough to turn things around and secure an 8 seed?
Anthony Davis has put up monstrous numbers all season, but was held to just 20 points in the Pelicans loss to Jazz which saw the team score only 83 points.
Davis had a big double double in the first meeting (18 points, 17 rebounds) and should have the same type of game in this contest.
Demarcus Cousins was held in check by the Utah front line, scoring just 15 points and pulling down 8 rebounds in the loss. Cousins has had up and down performances since getting traded to the Pelicans so he should be in store for a huge game.
Look for Cousins to get 28 points and 13 rebounds against the Raptors front line.

Jrue Holiday’s scoring punch took a night off against the JAzz, as he was a poor 1-9 shooting for 4 points in the loss. Holiday will need to get back on track if the Pelicans will have any shot at getting the upset.
Another surprising stat from the game were the 4 assists Holiday dished it. It snapped a 6 game streak of 5 or more assists.
