Pacers vs. Raptors Free Series Predictions: Guards
George Hill is far from elite, but he always works hard and grinds his opponent. Hill averaged 12.1 PPG, 4.0 RPG and 3.5 APG during the regular season. He has the odd big game in him, but he isn’t a huge concern.
Monta Ellis is a streaky scorer and he could help the Pacers steal a game or two. His numbers aren’t great, but he averaged 13.8 PPG, 3.3 RPG and 4.7 APG during the regular season.

The Raptors live and die with their guard play. Kyle Lowry is the glue holding this team together. He averaged 21.2 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 6.4 APG and 2.05 SPG this season. He’s shooting nearly 40% from deep as well.
DeMar DeRozan leads the team in points (23.5 PPG), plus he averages 4.5 RPG and 4.0 APG. Ellis isn’t known for his defense, so I expect DeRozan to be able to create shot after shot offensively.
Verdict: The Raptors have a huge edge at the guards positions, which they need to exploit. The Raptors have more guard depth on the bench than the Pacers as well with Terrance Ross and Corey Joseph.
Pacers vs. Raptors Free Series Predictions: Forwards & Centers
Paul George’s performance will determine how far the Pacers go in the playoffs. George averages 23.1 PPG, 7.0 RPG and 4.1 APG. He’s the pulse of this team, but he’ll have a tough match-up against Toronto.
Norman Powell will likely start and he has been playing hard, but more importantly, DeMarre Carroll is back from injury. He hasn’t played much yet, but you know he’ll step up his game and make life for George tough.
Luis Scola is rested up, but who knows what he’ll provide. Jonas Valanciunas is the key to the Raptors playoffs run. Lowry and DeRozan will produce, but they need the big center to score easy buckets in the paint.

Ian Mahinmi and Lavoy Allen will likely start for the Pacers. Myles Turner will come off the bench and likely be a nightmare for Toronto. Turner should really be starting instead of Allen at PF, but for some reason he isn’t.
Verdict: Well, you have to give the Pacers a small edge at the forward and center positions. George is an elite talent, plus Mahinmi and Turner are playing well. Don’t expect the Pacers to win the rebounding battle, though.
Pacers vs. Raptors Free Series Predictions:
Sure, the Raptors have choked in the playoffs the past two years, losing in the first round both years. This is a more experience team because of those losses and they’re flat-out better than the Pacers.
Best Bet: Toronto Raptors to Win in 6 Games
Toronto are going to win this series in five or six games. Indiana are going to win one or two games at home, as the Raptors have had some trouble when playing in Indiana. However, the Raptors will advance.
