The Hawks are at the center of many trade rumors after dropping back to back games as they continue to be a middle of the pack team in the East.
Chicago can relate, as they have dropped 3 straight and are without key piece Jimmy Butler, who will miss quite some time.
Atlanta
After being the number 1 seed in the Eastern Conference last season and posted a franchise record 60 wins, the Hawks did very little to their roster heading into this season.
Why would you right?
However, now that same roster is being rumored to potentially be broken up as the Hawks have dropped back to back games and are just 30-24 this season.

Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver, and Al Horford, all such key parts to this team overall and especially in last years phenomenal run, have all had their names thrown around in the trade rumor mill.
Frustration has really set in as the Hawks blew an 18 point lead at home to the Magic to eventually fall in overtime. Atlanta was very frustrated with their defensive play as they gave up 76 points in the 2nd half [including overtime.] This Hawks team concedes just 99.8 points per game, meaning their are starting to be a lot of red flags raised.
Chicago
The Bulls have their own problems as well.
This Chicago team was picked to Cleveland a run for their money in the East and certainly compete and make a deep run in the playoffs. Now, they just have to worry about getting there first.
Chicago sits 7th in the East and returns home after going just 2-5 on a 7 game road trip and things don’t get any easier with Jimmy Butler sidelined.
Butler will miss a week or two after the all star break and Derrick Rose continues to battle many injuries. The latest that kept him out was soreness, although he is expected to play here.
The sight of the United Center will bring some relief to this Bulls team. They play their best basketball here as they are 16-9 SU on the season at home.

Free NBA Prediction:
What normally would have been a marquee conference clash will be a battle between two teams desperate for a win.
The advantage goes to the Bulls here with them being at home and with all the trade rumors swirling, the Hawks have to have a lot on their minds.
