We’re starting to see what different racers are made of and Atlanta last week was a big indicator of that. Jimmie Johnson once again headlines the favorites, but the field isn’t far behind him.
Here is a look at 5Dimes betting odds to win both this week’s race and the 2017 Monster Energy Cup title.
Jimmie Johnson.: 2017 Kobalt 400 Odds: +700
Jimmie Johnson had some real unfortunate luck hit him in Atlanta.
[dfads params=’groups=248&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
What’s important to note here is that Jimmie Johnson and his crew rarely have struggles in back to back races. Johnson has won 4 races in his career in Las Vegas and he has real potential to bounce back here from a rough race last week.
Kevin Harvick: 2017 Kobalt 400 Odds: +500
Harvick has looked good through the first portion of the races here in the 2017 season, but has really struggled on the back end of those races.
In Atlanta, he led for 293 of the 325 laps in the race, but found a way to drop back to the pack and eventually finish 9th in the race.
He’s been notorious for finishing 2nd, but he certainly has value here as he continues to give himself plenty of chances to win.
Joey Logano: 2017 Kobalt Odds: +700
Logano has plenty of experience in Vegas.
[dfads params=’groups=246&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
He’s started in the front row of 3 straight races in Vegas and has led for atleast 40 laps in all 3 of those.
Last year, he proved that in 1.5 mile tracks, he is always near the top of the standings. Solid value here on Logano, especially if he can get out early and stay near the top of the pack.
Brad Keselowski: 2017 Kobalt 400 Odds: +600
Keselowski has had plenty of success here at Las Vegas Speedway.
He has captured wins in 2 of his last 3 races and has an average finish of 3rd in his last 4 races in Las Vegas.
Chase Elliot: 2017 Kobalt 400 Odds: +600
Elliot has came close in the first two races this season and now he looks to get over that hump and finally grab a victory.
After falling just short, you can be assure Elliot is going to be on his top game here and really push toward the front early. He is going to be a very valuable pick this season and at these odds, he is certainly a move you should consider.
